Narilamb comic "Truth" 1/4
previous comic 1 2
ROD au masterpost
Finally starting on the big boy. I keep experimenting with these vertical compositions, despite knowing I'll have to chop it up to post it on most sites :')
next page and wips of the rest is up on patr30n
This. All of this. Good to see the artist that got me into the Fandom is doing ok.
Let the DLCs arc begin
Continuation to this
This is what Narinder (and Lamb) needs. A galaxy load of being the butt of jokes but not enough emotional digging.
Weโre having some big feelings rn ๐ฅบ

All The Yes!
Angel Dust being violently protective of Husk, and will NOT hesitate!
Started out as a warm up, turned into the project as usual๐โจ
"The guy i sent to gather beetroots is dead, we're out of silk, Vephar is infected withโฆ something, I still haven't done my sermon, and as soon as I sit down to eat something, Narinder starts with his bullshit.
Is being a god supposed to be this stressful?"

You know, I often find myself coming back to this comic, and I believe it's because this is probably my favorite iteration of The Lamb within the entire Fandom. This version has something that most of the others seem to lack on a fundamental level that sets it apart, and that's a real sense of self-awareness and maturity.
Don't misunderstand, I get most people enjoy the idea of having a Chaotic Evil Lamb for their self-inserts as it fits with the theme of the game. However, because most artists tend to follow this mentality of the silly victim, the majority tend to lack a true nuance that feels interesting for me personally. @circuscountdowns and a few others I may mention in the future, really know how to show growth and experience without making their Lamb Lawfully Altruistic. A sense of selfishness, but a desire to be better stemming from past pain and longing.
This even extends to their relationship with Narinder, which is by far my favorite in the Fandom as a whole. What sets them apart from most is that their Lamb geninuely cares for Narinder and seeks help and care for the God. Narinder isn't used as the butt of jokes, nor does @circuscountdowns seek to validate their Lamb by unjustly describing Narinder as someone who lied and betrayed them. Yes, Narinder forced Lamb down their path, but the Lamb is just as guilty and they do no shy away from this fact. It makes their growth all the more honest, believable and wholesome because they're both broken creatures who have wronged each other, but overtime grow to help the other overcome the accumulated trauma and I fucking LOVE it.
All in all, for me personally, this is the gold standard for the relationship dynamic between Narinder and Lamb. They're not Good Creatures but neither are misrepresented with fallacies. They're hurt and isolated creatures, wronged by the Bishops who've found love and comfort in one another, despite the wounds they've inflicted on each other, thus righting their personal wrongs.
Been here. Just wanna eat alone and in peace but some extrovert wants to adopt you for some strange reason.
look at that crown. craving that drama. psychotic little shit I love it.

Heh good thing I'm not a follower but more of an observer. But to say more would spoil future plans ๐
How would ewen react if a follower (me for example XD) ask them for a kiss ?
God damnโฆ. this is probably only the second comic within the ship I've seen where the Lamb actually feels devoted to Narinder, even after stealing his crown, his power, and his dream. Despite destroying his dream, they're trying to make Narinder happy instead of belittling him for jokes.
I fucking like this and love how its evolving

Dig this emotionally and mentally healthy shit right here. Something so much of the fandom lacks. The ability to actually sit down and communicate. All their problems aren't fixed, but one step forward is so much better than watching artist have their two characters just spin their wheels like a god damn hamster.
Well freaking done.
I temporarily revived my dead blog just to post this so hi XD
I've seen SO MANY talented people making COLT art and I love admiring/reading them so I thought I should contribute too and not keep it to Twitter only
This all started with the idea of drawing Lamb in an extravagant white fleece, then I wanted to make it Narilamb, then this happened
Bald Lambert made me laugh but this pretty Lambert got me fiendin a lil bit. But..... seeing the crown, and knowing why.....not as pleasant....
Some doodles ๐
So... petition to get an even pinup calendar?
Gris Swimsuit, Hollow Hip Dress, String Jumpsuit, Keyhole Cat Lingerie, Choker Snapper, Slingkini, etc etc etc
Maybe...? Guess not
I stopped drawing an actually nsfw comic and a story comic to draw this. that is how strong the urge to draw pin ups is in me. plus its just nice having a chubbier character after a while.
It turned out super cute either way. reminder that ewen shears their wool completely and makes it into an outfits... any outfit they want <3
patrons got this early along with sketches and helped me decide on oufits
The Fabulous Fumbled Fingers Feline has been dubbed. Cute atmosphere I gotta admit but the sax made me laugh my ass off lol
Hello everyoneeee!!!!!!!!!
I'm so excited to finally share this comic dub done by the talented @alyexvaexva !!!!! He put so much -and I mean so much- effort into this video!!! Please go and check it out ! <3 Hope you guys enjoy it as much as me!
The voice actors are Lore_weaver (For Narinder) and AylexVa (For Lambert)
Ramblings under the cut!
Working with him was such a delight honestly, I used to watch comic dubs waay back so I knew about them but I had never seen how they were made. So watching Alex voicing and editing this video has made me appreciate the amount of work, dedication and love people put into them!
We had some hiccups here and there because I wasn't thinking about my comic becoming a comicdub and didn't know about the process so there were stuff that needed to be fixed here and there but it was totally worth it!
I'm so happy with how it came out! Anyway- that's all! Thank you <3
I wonder who that random bystander might be? ;) Btw, I'll sadly have to make the pages a bit shorter from now on, so I could focus on them without stressing over finding the time to draw between work and other stuff. I believe you guys can understand.

Hmmm alright. So far in the fandom from what I've seen, only other artist aside from @circuscountdowns and maybe @deltamb3r where their Lamb is mature enough to have a god damn conversation, even if based off of toxic foundations. Nice when someone wants to show the two of them progressing openly, even if its just one step at a time, as it should be.
If you're going to show a relationship, romantic or not, there needs to be some sort of progression. Nothing worse than seeing the thought process of angst-driven hamster-on-a-wheel thinking. Glad to see something a bit more nuance shown.
Love even more so that Narinder's mind is constantly running with thoughts. Considering everything he's been through and the fact that he's had no one to speak to on roughly equal terms for over a thousand years, it makes sense that a mind like his would always be racing along with the sheer crushing weight of his depression and crushed dreams.
I love putting stupid little details in that barely anyone will notice lol.
By the way, got a schedule now! New pages will be coming every friday from now on, if life stays kind with me that is. That way I can work ahead and take breaks if I need to.
For now, enjoy therapist lamb!

Is lamb a boy or a girl? Just wanna know
they are a god
Ya know, my favorite thing about this comic is the moral ambiguity of Narinder's portrayal. Having played the game and seen how the Fandom interprets Narinder, I'm actually annoyed with the general consensus that in order to make fan's self-insert Lamb feel like this justified victim, Narinder is a vow-breaker who intentionally makes false-promises, lies and harms their Lamb for personal gain. ๐ค
Here, I can really see how Narinder could be seen as a being of worship once-upon-a-time, whether or not the story of his Sibling Conflict told here is truth, fabrication or somewhere in between. He's clearly someone who's felt hurt, longs to pursue his goals and is seeking some personal sense of purpose beyond what Fate has decided for him. Here, I can feel while his intentions aren't entirely pure, they're not this comical level of evil seen by the majority of the Fandom and its very much refreshing to say the least. ๐
This is one of the few cotl comic lores I'm very much invested in and would like to see more of. The fundamental originality of showing both sides aren't evil, but the signs of corruption are just buried below the surface is something I really enjoy. ๐๐๐
REINCARNATION
I said I was going to compile it and I did <3
Thanks to everyone who followed along with me while I made this! I loved reading your comments :')
Bonus sketch

๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ขAll my YES!!!
God damnit why you making me feel these things!??? ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Crossing paths.
These are pretty good choices. I will say I avoided cat because I wanted to pick creatures different from the current bishops. Since Narinder is already a cat, wanted to go a little bigger. Also avoided the Sloth cuz its a little too on the nose, ya know? lol But i do like these alot. Had to look up the Shrew and Bonobo. Pretty fitting.
In the Cotl Universe, if the 7 Deadly Sins were personified as animals, which 7 would you choose?
Think my picks would be
Pride - Lion
Greed - Crab
Lust - Rabbit
Gluttony - Pig
Envy - Dog
Wrath - Bull
Sloth - Koala
But I'm curious to hear the thoughts and ideas of others.

I am SO NORMAL ABOUT THIS!!!!
It would be very weird indeed.

I love this more than words can describe! <3
The fandom needs far more moments like this! T~T
Behold, my sappiest (and longest) Lari comic yet, I hope ya'll enjoy some tooth-rottingly sweet fluff UvU More of me rambling under the cut:
Honestly I was so worried about posting this one, I wrote it when I was really needing some comfort so it turned out very sweet, less humorous than my other shitten stuff, but hey if you've watched and liked my animatic that's what you're here for anyways >:)
As much as I love feral Nari I just love writing him being all soft and chilled out tbh, this cat has been fully domesticated over years of TLC (Tender Lamb Care), I just hope others like it as much as I do too :p
For now, gonna say Narinder shoulda saw the writing on the wall for sure. But I'll chock it up to to sheer desperation and social isolation. Ewen was their only ticket out at the time and despite all his power, he's shown he can't see the future consequences of his decisions
Big Narilamb comic "Distant " p 1/3
Since these are so big doing them one at a time. This one is mostly flashback so it works alone
Driving 10 hours tomorrow, so its going up early so I'll hopefully have comments to keep me entertained.
Oh I 100% prefer Narilamb. I was just making an observation based off recent fanart is all and the idea makes me laugh. Of course it's not to be taken as seriously as many of the other toxic people would do on here.
lol its funny how for everyone, Narinder is just simply being replaced and pushed to the side by the Goat. Probably all part of the developer's plan to keep the demand for Narilamb to become canon to a complete minimum. Introduce a similar designed character but of polar opposite presentation and everyone will ship the two What-If characters because they're of the same species over the Sheep and Cat.
Diabolical lol

Diabolical and i love this stupid idea lol
Hmmm well you know what? There's a lot you could improve on and your wast-hahahahaha I couldn't even finish that thought. ๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐
Seriously your art style is ideal in my mind and I can see the effort that goes into coloring and shading when it comes to many of the comics you've produced so far.
I'd say if there's anything to improve on, it would be some grammar stuff here and there. Might be good to let friends or your husband proofread it just to make sure before releasing it.
Otherwise as is, love your style, got a weakness for plump shortstacks and Absolute Territory is my Religon so keep on drawing what makes you happy and what catches your interest. ๐๐
Alright after the move, I'm think of doing some practice and style studies to improve. Try to do some every once and a while.
If you have something you think I could improve on or a style/piece of media you'd like to see me try to replicate, comment. Just be nice, I cry easy ;3;
Now a brother can't help but be curious to what draws you into such dynamics of hatred, chaos and self-destruction. ๐ค
Definitely wanna hear about that from someone who loves it.
Sorry to hear about the troubles with your move. Hopefully it will only pick up in a positive light from here.
But I am curious, which couple in fiction inspire you the most?
You know I thought about this an I asked my hubby while we're waiting for the movers and we both have no freaking idea lol.
I've had previous ships but it's mostly what elements attracted me to that ship and then half the time I just make it my own thing. I have elements I like.
hatemance
immortals/time loop with two people stuck together/only one to understand each other
destruction/harm/cannibalism as a form of love
Unhealthy attachment/fear of loss
Sex being less intimate than chaste forms of affection
Usually they want to kill each other/want the other to kill them
But I can't really think of the sources of that specifically besides my own issues and a love of horror/monsters in general
Love this dynamic more than I can accurately describe without rambling โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
First Dance
This wouldn't get out of my head, so I got it out of my head by drawing it
Alright, since Madam Mel has goated me into revealing my extremely amateurish thoughts, here goes.
I've had my suspicions on how Narinder was able to get a hold of the Last Lamb, and how he was even able to bring it back to life in the first place. It comes with too many plotholes that, thankfully the game leaves open to interpretation so here are my theories and One I think Mrs @melled42 is gunning for.
The first Theory being that Shamura sent the last Lamb to Narinder either intentionally as a show to break Narinder's dream of returning and to accept his fate as being bound to Hell's limbo, or unintentionally as a last way to give Narinder a chance to free himself and repent for his actions of slaughtering unwillingly innocents and to punish himself for the actions he committed against his most favorite sibling. There are words Shamura uses that alludes to the idea that he may have purposely given Narinder the Lamb, the same way he gave Narinder Aym and Ba'al, probably due to how damaged his mind was and how he drifts in and out because of his brain damage. I can go more into this theory because its a personal one of mine and part of my headcanon
However, I believe Melled42 is going for my second theory and one I hope isn't the case (Game-Canonwise) but..... Narinder may have killed the Lamb himself, directly in order to get direct control of the creature's life, to will it for his own purpose. I came to this conclusion because Narinder's ultimate goal was to control Life AND Death, and he never fully achieved the goal, because his siblings stopped him before he could break such a fundamental law of nature. Death is only supposed to go 1 way, so for Narinder to even have the power to perverse such a Primordial Law means he had to have had a direct connection and influence over Lamb (in this case Ewen's) death, to control their aspect of Life and thus, create a creature not bound by the Laws and Limitations Narinder actively sought to break.
All this is to say, the theory is that Narinder intentionally killed Ewen himself to give him life that bounds Ewen to Narinder through the power of the Red Crown. This would explain why Lamb can detach its head and still remain alive and aware, retain all their powers and abilities without aging physically, while also exhibiting God-Like effects such as the black blood or ichor if you will, that leaks from a God's wounds. Lamb wasn't killed by the Headsmen, he was killed somehow stealthily through an act by Narinder himself.
Its extremely twisted, yet right up Narinder's alley. I'm against it personally but fuck it would fit if this is what Melled42 is going for. That the twisted mentality the two of them tend to feed into one another, the act that started all of this, was Narinder killing Lamb to claim their life and soul for himself, before his siblings could get the job done and ruin his plans. I like this, and HATE it because it creates a full circle moment that only adds to the selfish depravity of their natures as a whole, that due to the solitary existence both were forced to endure, the empty, meaningless deaths they were both part of and directly influenced with their actions, connects them both on an extremely primal level where only they and they alone, can understand stand each other completely.
I wanted to keep this grenade tucked away but Madam Mel asked so.... here it is. If I'm wrong, I fully accept it because even I see the cracks in my theory but damnit..... brain is going wild with ideas.
An explanation for the wound on Ewen's, my lamb's neck. I've had this headcannon since first seeing the bishops but it kind of took a life of its own
When you're a power hungry controlling monster but they're way too into it, even for you
patreons got this early
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Quite a bit to unpack here but... does give a bit more insight to the "never let you go" line used in the first lore-focused comic. Also explains why Narinder gets his head cut off as well later... somewhat. Wow. ๐ซ
Bet Narinder is REEEEAAALLY wishing he read Ewen's mind when he had the chance before. Good gravy ๐ Imma need more info before I can go anymore indepth than this. Don't need to make anymore incorrect assessments.
