No. I didn't just finish a chapter.
I just started a chapter.
Now leave me be.
It's my 3 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
Huh. Another mile stone. Weird.
Imagine a happier MCU au where Peter goes to MIT via Tony's letter of recommendation and is shocked to find out that everyone there only refers to Tony as some variation of "Iron Dude" or "iron guy" but he eventually gets used to it and gets in the habit himself and then super stuff comes up and Peter has to go help and he accidentally calls Tony Iron Dude to his face and then immediately dies inside and cap is there and he never lets Tony live it down and...
Imagine a game like spore but you start out in a truly completely empty universe. Nothing but stars and planets. So instead of starting out with panspermia, on your first planet, in your first playthrough you have to play this "chemical stage" to decide the kind of stuff your planet's life will be made of. Then on other planets after that you can choose to do it again to make a completely different life or populate this planet via panspermia using life forms from your first world to see how you can get different things from the same ingredients.
So as you play and replay you can slowly fill up the universe. And maybe you can also have a simulation mode to just let things progress a little ways without you messing with it to see how things progress.
And as you keep playing it can get progressively harder to start life from scratch because now panspermia events happen so often (a toggle able feature) that every planet becomes increasingly competitive as time goes on.
Just an idea.
The words you're looking for are "consensual boundaries". So you can still vent to your friends but only if they consent to being vented to.
? where am i
“Public libraries are such important, lovely places!” Yes but do you GO there. Do you STUDY there. Do you meet friends and get coffee there. Do you borrow the FREE, ZERO SUBSCRIPTION, ZERO TRACKING books, audiobooks, ebooks, and films. Have you checked out their events and schemes. Do you sign up for the low cost courses in ASL or knitting or programming or writing your CV that they probably run. Do you know they probably have myriad of schemes to help low income families. Do you hire their low cost rooms if you need them. Have you joined their social groups. Do you use the FREE COMPUTERS. Do you even know what your library is trying to offer you. Listen, the library shouldn’t just exist for you as a nice idea. That’s why more libraries shut every year
The Word
All at once, at an uncertain time, on an uncertain day, when no one quite knew what was going on, some people, no one knows how many, started to hear a word. They could not speak it, though they tried. It was as if their mouths became mute to that word alone. They tried to write it, for they were desperate to share, but they found no lettering in any language that conveyed it accurately. Some, those who could, attempted drawing it, painting it, dancing it, singing it, and even sculpting it, but all failed. The Word defied depiction.
It is noiseless, thoughtless, depthless, ceaseless, beginning less, touchless, all encompassing, tasteless, seen, unseen, start, end, nothing, everything, kindness, unkindness, life, death, all of these things, and none of these things. The word defied definition.
A few attempted to live the word through their actions. Some were kind to their fellow man. Giving away all that they had and more, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those around them. They built community, they built love, they built prosperity, and they built peace. Brick by brick, through the corroborative efforts of many people they built a home for all. Again, the word defied depiction.
Some attempted to violently carve the word into the flesh of those around them. Performing disturbing surgeries and mutilations on any they could. They killed, they brutalized, they broke people down, they built monsters from their flesh, and they baptized the world in blood. The word defied depiction.
The word has still never been shared to anyone other than those who heard it, on that uncertain day, at that uncertain time, and it never will be. They will all die with this secret, in utter agony at the thought that The Word dies with them.
No one will ever hear The Word again.
My style isn't usually great for fanart, but I just watched The Owl House and I figured this horrible bird tube would be a good fit to render in full horrifying detail!
(Go watch The Owl House if you haven't! It's great!)
I like wakfu, blender, marvel, random web series, and technology.
