NOTE TO SELF-SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!

Okay, here is my overly thought out and totally not controversial Avatar head cannon.

Every bending type has a pure form: flight, metal bending, blood bending, and dragon's fire ( I will explain). Dragon's Fire is the only one I kind of made up myself because the show doesn't explicitly give anything for this. Essentially it is super hot fire bending with a new color. Azula's blue fire and the Dragon's rainbow fire.

Also, every bending type has three mixed forms. Not saying these forms are acquired by bloodline. They can be trained but it will be easier if it better aligns with your personality.

Air + Fire = a very excitable air bender with a big personality and the ability to heat up air as they bend it. Think of a living air fryer.

Air + Water = a very chill air bender. They are super relaxed and go with any flow. Their bending is incredibly fluid and they can even lower the temperature of air enough to freeze things.

Air + Earth = an incredible firm and steadfast air bender. Instead of dodging they will mostly use their bending to deflect or push through attacks. Through much practice they have learned incredible precision and can even solve complex puzzles only using their bending.

Fire + Air = combustion bending. This combines the deeply focused spirituality of the air nomad lifestyle with fire bending abilities. Focusing all of the fire energy through the forehead to project a combustible force.

Fire + Water = Lightning. Iroh explains this one. It is all about the flow of energy.

Fire + Earth = much like the air variant this affects the bending in subtler ways. But over all this style is more about reacting to your opponent "watching and waiting". These benders also tend to be blacksmiths and have an ability to summon heat from their metal so they can keep working on it without a forge

Earth + Fire = lava bending.

Earth + Water = mud bending. (In my head cannon nearly half of the foggy swamp benders are actually Earth benders but no one can tell because there is practically no non muddy water in the whole swamp.)

Earth + Air = sand bending.

Water + Air = fog bending + extra flowy water bending in general.

Water + Fire = boiling water bending. Bender is usually hot tempered and not as good at making ice.

Water + Earth = mud bending again but also stronger ice bending techniques.

This is a head cannon and I will not be excepting critique as of this time.

My wife @jackers-stuff misheard liopleurodon as neopleurodon and thought it was an ice cream dinosaur. So now this exists.

Sometimes I hate the way having feet feels.

Gosh imagine having a computer powerful enough to simulate every cell/DNA in a rabbit's body and also do it billions of times and use that to realistically and rapidly simulate the potential evolution of rabbits in multiple seed world scenarios including multiple scenarios with different co-inhabitants and predators.

I would sell my soul for this.

thank god for the mythbusters though because it used to be that whenever i knew i had insomnia i’d just kind of accept it and stay up doing whatever until my morning classes and spend the day feeling like shit

but then they did an episode where they established that even just fucking laying there for a half hour, not even sleeping just laying there and not even for an hour, makes a significant difference and you’ll feel way better

it has made a huge difference in my life to know that it’s okay if i can’t fall asleep, it takes a lot of the pressure off and ironically helps me fall asleep better

It's been over a year since we came out here.

Drawing creapy simbols gets old after about two days.

Which is why this took so long.

Phill says they "Have to be drawn with a genuine heart."

So long breaks have been common practice.

Also I have yet to see the animal sacrifice he keeps talking about.

To be honest I'm kind of starting to feal like Issac on the mountain.

But i've literally come to far to stop now.

If I die, at least I won't be cold.

I've been busy y'know aranging my death and all.

It's strangly cathartic.

Watching my entire life all slowly fade away.

I think I want to do it.

My contact has let me know that this journey will take me quite far.

So.

Some one from the occult contacted me over email.

They offered to help me destroy my eternal soul.

Not kill me mind you.

He was very specific.

This would mean that I would lack a soul.

I would be untouchable to every god and demon.

I would not go to any afterlife.

When I die, that would be it.

Like a dog, or a horse.

In a sense I would be something different from the average human.

I would like to propose an experiment.

Now forgive me if such a thing already exists or is ongoing but I am typing this while at work and don't have time to research.

So take a big patch of land and put a tree farm on it. Mostly fill it up with a fast growing tree species (perhaps a fast growing species of pine) but also evenly space a second species of much larger but slower growing tree. Then periodically harvest and replant the faster trees while leaving the slower trees alone.

Also cut the farm in half. On one half do a seasonal burn of the lower brush and on the other half don't.

The goal of this experiment would be to see how the size of the larger trees impacts the growth of the smaller trees and other biotic and abiotic factors.

Will they help them grow faster?

Will they make them grow more slowly?

How will the bigger trees impact the soil?

How will the smaller trees impact the soil?

What kinds of fauna will this benefit?

What kinds of fauna will this harm?

Will this help or harm the ecosystem in and around the tree farm?

How does the fire impact the soil?

How does the fire impact the trees?

How does the fire impact the fauna?

How does the fire affect the nutrient cycle?

How do the big trees impact the nutrient cycle?

How do the small trees impact the nutrient cycle?

Ask someone who studied fungi to tell you what the hell they are doing.

Will this encourage or discourage biodiversity?
