ft. a new short-form posting style! let’s see how this sticks haha

I’ve been thinking about how MC is considered a celebrity in the Devildom — alongside the brothers, of course. The Devildom’s online structure seems to follow the same pattern and trends that ours does. This makes me think that attractive celebrities are treated the same as well!

I think that edits are a huge thing, especially among devildom youth. And considering how often the brothers/MC seem to be in the press or posting online, I 100% think that people make celebrity edits of them all the time. Individual ones to start with — sexy reverbed audios for Lucifer, rock and roll audios for Beel, etc etc all paired with the most jaw-dropping images and videos of the brothers.

Now, I think it happens with MC too! They’re an A-list celebrity and undoubtedly hot as hell (obviously). And I think the fact that they’re human helps as well. It adds to their intrigue. People would certainly take posts from their Devilgram for it. But they’d also use segments from interviews or RAD events that are broadcasted. They probably even have fan-accounts dedicated to them.

I also think that people make ship edits of MC and whichever brother they decide that they should be with. There are probably niche internet wars over who they date. And, of course, I think that the brothers always save the edits of themselves and MC.

And photo shoots? Oh, girl — everything will be abuzz. Photo shoots with the brothers? Literal chaos! Especially if they’re of the more risqué nature.

All of this applies to the side characters, too, but I would imagine that they might be less popular among the general populace when it comes to subjects for editing. Besides Diavolo (for obvious reasons: hello, hot demon king!!), that is. But there’s a few of MC with Barbatos, Simeon, or Solomon. They’re just a lot rarer on Devilgram.

So I was thinking about the whole concept of souls and their purity in OM, and how in Lucifer's words, nice souls look like shiny jewels. So a headcanon came to mind.

What if animals were also able to sense someone's soul and purity? What if the brightest the soul, the more fascinating it becomes to every creature around it?

I can only imagine all different species reacting to MC's presence, to their soul. I can picture how every creature, even the ones known as the most deadly, would fold completely at MC's mercy.

How Henry will always swim to the part of the water tank that is closest to MC whenever they're in Levi's room, how the fish will happily follow their finger as they trace the glass, doing tricks even Levi didn't know it could do.

How when out of the house random cats will show up and start rubbing themselves against MC's legs, how they will look up at them with pleading eyes as they meow, eager to receive their pets and affection – something that fills Satan with both bafflement and unimaginable jealousy.

Dogs being walked by their owners will go frantic at the mere sight of the human, wagging their tails and dragging their demon towards MC by the leash just so they can get pets. Birds will randomly land on MC's shoulder and not leave for hours, butterflies will fly around them all day as long as they're out of the house. Rabbits, salamanders, snakes, sea monsters, chimeras, you name it. No matter the creature, MC seems to tame it the moment they make themselves present.

Even Cerberus – the Avatar of Pride's hellhound who's known for its brutality and horrifying appearance – will go from the scariest of beasts to the sweetest of puppies as soon as MC enters the room. The three-headed hound will cling to them for as long as they're around, and will start whining the moment they leave his side. Cerberus will even go as far as going against his owner's orders just to please MC, glaring daggers at Lucifer whenever he's scolding the human.

MC is loved by literally every creature, even the weird labyrinth that's apparently alive under the Devildom's earth ( if you read that one Diavolo card, you know what I'm talking about ). But MC has no idea why, they have been used to animals acting this way around them ever since they were a child, it's nothing new to them and they don't even question it.

But the brothers, and every being that can sense MC's soul knows why. Each one of them can see how bright and pure their soul is, how it emanates kindness and softness, how it drags the eyes of every living thing around them.

MC's soul exudes calmness, gentleness, and love. It shines like the brightest of stars in the darkness of the demonic kingdom and overflows with magic energy. MC's soul is unique, and looks nothing like any other the brothers – or anyone else for a fact – have seen. MC's soul captivates every demon and angel, every creature that lays their eyes upon them and senses how truly special they are.

Can't stop thinking about the brothers calling MC "master" since that new teaser trailer came out. The game is called "One Master to Rule Them All." It's always been called that. This massive potential has been right in front of our eyes the whole time.

Lucifer, who only uses it in private when he's feeling particularly devilish. He wraps his arms around you, looks you right in the eye, and asks, "how does my master feel today, hmm?"

Mammon, who has an empty wallet and the urge to gamble: "Maaaster! Can I borrow some cash? I can, right? I'm your first, after all. I'll just take it from your wallet."

Leviathan, who wants to go to an anime collab cafe but is too anxious to go alone, so he begs you: "Please! Master! It's only open this week and I just have to collect all 24 limited edition cafe coasters! It'll be easier if we go together!"

Satan, who catches you when you stumble and jokingly asks, "are you okay, master?" He likes seeing the little sparks of wrath in your eyes that mirror his own.

Asmodeus, who thinks the word is hot and enjoys your reaction when he comes to steal you away from other people by saying "hey! I need to speak with my master. I'll be borrowing them for a while. I'm sure you don't mind."

Beelzebub, who hungrily stares at the food in the fridge with your name on it. He knows he needs to butter you up to have any chance of success: "Hey master, are you gonna eat that?"

Belphegor, who uses it at the most unexpected times. He texts the group chat, "does anyone know where our master is? I can't find them." It sets off a long chain of messages. "Master's not in their bedroom?" "Master? Haven't seen 'em." "Did you try yelling 'master!' and seeing if they respond?" "I saw master getting something to drink about an hour ago." "Master, are you reading our messages? I know you are." "I can't believe master is ignoring us." Several crying emoji are sent in quick succession.

Solomon and Barbatos, who witness the brothers doing this on occasion. Solomon turns to the latter and says, "You never call me your master. Want to give it a try?"

Barbatos looks at him with barely repressed revulsion. "I only have one master, and that is the Young Master. If you ever make such a joke again I will have you tried in court for lese-majeste."

you shook your head. no, they love you. it's attached to your hip when he's home. she can barely leave your side when you're together. they would never leave you.

you switched the television on, assimilating the static noise coming from the speakers. your mouth twitched into a small smile, your eyes falling closed, and you took a deep breath. you were at peace, despite the feeling of doe at your side being missing.

you didn’t know how long you had been sleeping. when you peeked through the black-out curtains, it was pitch black, the moon being the only light illuminating the empty street. you sat down, rubbing your lateral muscles. where was doe?

you sighed, hunching forward, propping your head in your hands. your head was pounding, and your stomach felt like it was being eaten from the inside out.

you were starving.

you stood, took hurried steps to the kitchen and threw the fridge door open. and, like your growling stomach, it was empty. your eyebrows furrowed and you threw an arm across your belly, rubbing gently to try and sooth yourself.

you closed the fridge and rummaged through the freezer instead. nothing. you ransacked the cabinets to find one bite of anything, and to your shit luck, nothing.

you groaned, knees meeting the tile with a thud. how is there nothing to eat? you started picking at your scabs in frustration, knocking your head against a cabinet door.

the knocking came to an abrupt stop, though, when something tugged at your hair. you looked up and, to your delight, saw doe.

“my love.” you breathed, almost tackling them in a hug. “where have you been?”

john doe grins, her arms wrapping around your waist tightly. “i got you a gift.” he purred, burying its face in the crevice of your neck and shoulder.

the smell hit you with a pang, and for a moment you thought you could melt. a grin plastered across your tired face, and you sat up, taking a long whiff. doe wiped a bit of drool that escaped your starved mouth, laughing. with a tug of their hand, he dragged out a wrapped box, setting it on her stomach.

“open it, sweetheart.” they trilled, running its hands to your hips. gleefully, you tear the box apart, and with a moan, you almost cry at the sight.

“oh, my love...” you whisper, reaching in and cradling the heart. “thank you...”

with haste, you bit a chunk out of the organ, your eyes falling closed, and your stomach satisfied.

doe grinned as he watched you eat the heart out with love in their eyes.

A/N: ive had om since like fuck idk since that first genie event or sth WHATEVER the point is its been a MINUTE and i only JUST watched the anime 😭😭😭 theyre so sweet and silly i cant take witttttt i need to write for them i love them all so muxygehwhwhshshwbwb I swearrr om is one of the only otome where i can gaf about more than 2 or 3 characters

Lucifer: The Peacock

- I think his wings should have eyes in them like its such a missed opportunity for a reference to his animal counterpart (peacock), a reference to biblical angels and a reference to the fact that he always somehow knows what everyone’s up to and what their ulterior motives are. Ik he has a few on his outfit but it just doesn’t give that otherworldly creature dread feeling you should get when looking at a demon (Not to go on a tangent but when I see a hot demon character I want to be afraid of them but then go “wait why is this hot”)

- Also while he technically has 4 wings, I think that when he flares out his wings they should expand in such a way that makes it appear like he has more

- I imagine his wings stretch out and look bigger whenever he feels proud of and satisfied with himself— esp when he’s around you; its cute tbh but he also does it when hes super pissed; are you gonna take that chance? 🤔

- Imagine if the little diamond on his forehead was a closed eye and every now and again it opens especially when he feels as if his pride is threatened or when he’s generally angry. Personally I think that would be sick af

- I KNOW THE MARKINGS ARE JUST LIKE BIRTHMARKS BUT IMAGINE THEY FEEL DIFFERENT FROM THE NORMAL SKIN like Lucifer’s markings could be feathers covering his jaw and below (see: Howl Pendragon bird form, kinda) and they feel like real feathers too

- I think we all agree that whenever he feels protective of you he’d wrap his wings around you and shield you from anyone’s view but his own

- Keeps a feather on you (probably gives it to you as a gift) so he can keep an eye on you at all times (This is not a pun; imo he can see through the eyes on his wings when he closes his main eyes and opens his third)

- Pact mark spans from the nape of your neck to about 1/3 your spine (pretty big but not humongous) and is in the shape of a peacock feather but when his powers/benefits are used the barbs of the feather move in a way similar to fire and the eye in the center opens (it kinda tickles and/or sends a chill down your spine)

- Pact mark allows him to locate you in pretty much any place without an uber powerful magic barrier or like interference (Which I think would make sense considering he always knows what’s up + he DID say making a pact with him entails you are his and he is yours [since you can summon him wnv I think and command him to do stuff])

- Something he already does but I just noticed lines up with peacocks is tilting his head when he’s sick of everyone’s shit

- OH MY GODDDDD HIS WINGS DRAPE DOWN LIKE PEACOCK TAIL FEATHERS. HE HAS LONG WINGS. LOOK AT THIS AND TELL ME THAT SHIT WOULDN’T BE MAJESTIC AS HELL ON HIM

Mammon: The Corvid

- I think his wings are nicely placed but I would make them curl/angle upwards more to more resemble bird wings (Ik Lucifer is the bird wing guy but hes a bird too 😞😞) kinda like this

- I think that while the bones are exposed on his wings, on the back of the wings there should be patches of feathers showing he lost them in his fall from grace aaaa 😫😫😫

- I know the demons have either wings or tails but like. Entertain this thought: Mammon with cute lil tail feathers 😭😭 mammon with a bird tail would just fit so well im sorry

- He subconsciously lowers/bows his head while talking to people he respects and admires (like you and Lucifer) like laying his head down on his arm or desk or sth

- Collects stuff that looks interesting— stuff he thinks he can probably use or fix up and sell. Pretty much proven but I feel I should emphasize how bad it gets, like he needs to clean his room at least weekly or his room will be full of junk 😭 (he js like me fr)

- Great at impressions; I THINK this was included in the story at one point (?) but idk so I will mention it here. Give him a voice and he can mimic it pretty well (Brothers would def use this to their advantage for silly little schemes if mammon weren’t charging an arm and a leg for his services gn)

- Will engage in anything he finds interesting and stimulating; the reason he sucks ass in school isn’t really because hes dumb but he has a hard time focusing on shit that isnt stimulating (that’s kinda how it is for most people but like especially for him, he indulges heavily into freedom/temptation; usually won’t do anything he doesn’t want to)

- Blinged OUT. More rings, a gold necklace thing (those thick round ones), more ear piercings and i like the drawing someone did with his fangs being gold however ntm as the absence of such things also shows his balance between his heavenly virtue and deadly sin (Charity vs Greed) and how despite his sin he really can be a modest guy

- Markings should cover his face and be little portals that let him summon grabby hands and sometimes he gets you stuff and sends it through the portal on your body (your pact mark)

- Speaking of pact marks, I think his is on your heart or right above and is like a dripping fingerprint that turns into a full blown hand print (maybe even the monkey’s paw?) when his powers/benefits are being used; Its hard to describe the feeling but when his hand goes through it feels like you’re gagged right then and there and its a little bit hard to breathe when you first made the pact because its a little uncomfortable but as you got used to the sensation and nurtured your magic ability, your breathing went back to normal

- I promised myself I wasn’t gonna get into outfits too much because they’re. Um anyway all I’ll say is he should have some slutty bellbottoms in his demon form idgaf

Leviathan: The Serpent

- He should have poisonous spines on his tail that lie dormant but flare up whenever he feels strong emotion (embarrassment, anger, jealousy etc) and in relation to that he should have a few scales visible on his neck but more should appear leading up his face to his eye when he feels these strong emotions like his skin hardens and turns to scales (almost like how our veins bulge when we humans get very angry) it would be cool af ngl and kinda fits how his voice changes when hes annoyed (I SWEAR it gets all deep and like gravelly ig)

- ALSO i mentioned in another post but his eyes should become super snake-like (pupils slimming down) when he gets angry/envious but adding onto that, his pupils should dilate like a cat when he feels a positive emotion like excitement (though I think his pupils would dilate when looking at you lovingly, if you flustered him his pupils would constrict, not because its negative, but because he doesn’t know how to handle it)

- Grows much taller in his demon form imo since sea serpents are big as hell (he doesn’t become a giant or anything but he does grow like a foot or so which. He might as well be a giant bc hes alr pretty tall) Honestly I think all demons grow in their demon forms but he just grows an exceptional amount compared to any other demon

- Two…. Nvm iykyk fr a certified hood classic and i dont see enough of it in fics 😒

- Often accidentally sticks out his tongue while angry and bites his tongue and it just ruins the mood as well as any fear anyone had of him bye. Hes so goofy i just love him

- Long ahh tongue; snake reminiscent

- The back of his slut zip jacket should be vaguely shaped like fins + would it be wrong to say he should have slutty bellbottoms too? Can’t I dream? 💭 not as wide as Mammon’s though he’s not doing it like him fr

- Wraps his tail around you as if trying to shield you from public view with his spines whenever he gets jealous or protective

- I think it would be cool if the design on his jacket was a fishbone or if his tail was a bit translucent and showed bones inside (Ik tails don’t have bones generally but bear with me here) as a reference to how the Leviathan became a meal after being defeated

- Subconsciously moves slowly and methodically like the way he leans his head in slowly as you talk is very snake of him

- Big yawn (can open his mouth really wide)

- Pact mark is on the side of your neck, a bit closer to the front though and is shaped like a scale initially but grows into a very large patch of black scales with a purple underside, covering everything in the area almost like a bad rash when you use his powers/benefits

- Activation feels as if you’re being suffocated slowly, like water is slowly entering your lungs as the “rash” spreads at first but, again, as you get used to it this sensation wears off but a feeling that won’t ever wear off when activating the pact mark is the feeling that Levi is there looming by your side through the mark but just out of view whenever you try to see him; it’s a little maddening

- Can find you with sth similar to echolocation and it’s especially effective in water; can also spread the scales further with enough willpower and/or jealousy, basically creating a shield for your body

Mammon head cannons

I feel like mammon is totally prone to night terrors about loosing you and his brothers, normally waking up in a cold sweat. After literally having you head in his arms, he is horrified that it will happen again. While in bed, he will grip you tightly in his sleep, almost scared you will disappear again. Once awoken from one of these night terrors, he will stay in bed with you, head buried in your shoulder while his hand rests over your heart, or silently get out of bed and check on everyone. He hates seeing his family hurt.

Why do I feel like he has a split tounge. He got it medically done a couple hundred years ago and he thinks its a cool party trick. When asked if he would ever do it again, he says he would but in reality, he would probably never do it again. The healing process sucked, his tounge aching and in alot of pain while it healed, not being able to eat solid food for a while, having a constant headache, he wouldn't do it again.

Loves to have matching items with you <3 Weather it be a phone case, small rings, earrings, a necklace, loom band bracelets, outfits, nails, whatever. He loves matching with you though he never admits it was his idea. He HIGHLEY hinted at it until you said it first, which he agreed to almost immediately after abit of talking.

Is like a puppy whenever your up in the human world, sighing and laying around while he waits for you in his free time. He still goes to RAD, gamble, cause trouble, but whenever he has time to himself or doesn't have to focus on more things, your swarming his head. So happy once your back in devildom

So many rings, either got the idea from Asmodeus or it was trendy ages ago and it stuck with him forever. He has both silver and gold rings on almost all fingers, though he has once small home-made ring made from the handle of a spoon that you made him that he always keeps on his ring finger. Don't look into it too much human!

He loves seeing his pact mark on you, it gives him a small comfort. His mark is right on your left wrist, its easy to spot but also easy to hide. He enjoys just tracing it while you both are studying, doing it absent mindedly while he slightly zones out. If you mention it, he will blush deeply and move away, flustered while denying ever doing it
