How much do you think god or Titan Odysseus affects greek mythology if at all?
How does Telemachus find his domains?
What abilities do you think Diomedes would inherit upon becoming a deity?
Titan Odysseus would not affect Greek mythology too much. He is one of those gods/titans that you fear about but they are rarely active in stories of other people. (Like the greek god of riches for example.)
He would have a few stories involving gods like Apollo or Ares that were unable to do their job because Ody was too close to them or a story or two about a mortal/nymph who tried to seduce Ody only to be cursed by Penelope.
Telemachus finds his domain during his travels with his parents. He finds traveling people who had a problem with setting up their camp. Telemachus helped them by helping them find a shelter and creating a campfire that would survive a night. Travellers gave Telemachus a flute (which would become his symbol) and some food as thanks and they spent the rest of the night exchanging stories and playing music together. Telemachus was able to calm down stressed travellers and aided them, that way he discovered his domain.
I'm still not sure what type of god Dio would become so I don't know.
What do you think Diomedes bonding attempts with Telemachus were like?(If it was either before he gained immortality or after he gained immortality). What do you think Telemachus would be like as a Titan?
Diomedes went through an awkward stage of trying to understand how babies work and then trying to understand how godly babies work hahaha
I imagine Dio taking Telemachus on trips to cities and showing him things that his parents might not understand too well. He is like a big brother when it comes to answering questions.
Once Telemachus was old enough he would absolutely teach him how to spar and use weapons. Also Diomedes is the one who accidentally becomes a bad influence to baby Telemachus (since Diomedes is a little hot headed and didn't learn tact)
Telemachus would not be a titan but a god (even if he would be a child of titan Odysseus). He would be curious of people and the world like his parents. He enjoys pretending to be a human just to join other travellers on their way.
He would be the type of person who would randomly make a backpack journey around the country only to tell you about it once he's back. Also if he sees something he finds cool he WILL drag one of his three parents to show it.
He is also a prankster like his father, but while his dad would mess with people by scaring them a little or making them trip, Telemachus would instead come up with random gossips, make your tent fall a few times before you can build it correctly or he would add something to your food/drink that would make your tongue blue. (It represents innocent accidents that might happen on camping trips)

I hope you'll enjoy this story of a love entangled in the tragedy of war.

shipping telemachus with any of the generals from the trojan war is hilarious because it immediately becomes the scene from 22 jump street with the captain's daughter. you cannot tell me that if somehow achilles banged telemachus that diomedes wouldn't be absolutely dying with laughter running around like "SAY HELLO TO THE STRONGEST OF THE GREEKS BECAUSE ACHILLES IS FUCKED."
it would be even worse if the roles were reversed because you just know that Odysseus would have given diomedes advice. The others would raise themselves from the dead to give diomedes shit.
What is your take on an eldritch gods au?
I always imagined the gods like Nyx, Tartarus, Gaya, Uranos etc as eldritch gods. Meanwhile their descendants are becoming more and more human-like.
When it comes to other gods as eldritch I rarely thought about it until I found this artist on Instagram. I love their ideas when it comes to eldritch gods. https://www.instagram.com/the.angel.incarnate?igsh=MWpwYmJjY2dobzVlNw==
I have some ideas for how the relationship between Ody and Athena would change and for some interactions between gods and mortals but most of it is not polished.
All I can say for now is that Athena would obsessively insert herself into Ody's life. At first it would be thought that she does it out of parental love but then it becomes clear that it's something more and it's not good. She envies any connection that Odysseus has to others and she demands to have it too. It would come from the fact that it's the first time she takes interest in a human since his young age. Kids don't understand how they are supposed to worship gods so kid Ody would treat her with warmth which confuses the goddess but then she becomes obsessed with it.

In the shadows of war and duty, quiet bonds are hidden from prying eyes—some tender, some painful, and some worth breaking the rules for. This is the story of a forbidden love between Prince Hector of Troy and Queen Odysseus of Ithaca, how it all started and what the war will force them to do.
Sthenelus deserves a better paycheck hahaha 🤣
I don't like te element about his wife for many reasons (main one being incest) because of it I usually don't include her in my stories or au's.
I'm not sure tbh...I'm aware he in some stores becomes one but I never hear what exactly he becomes.
I like the idea of him being a god of something war/battle related since it would fit him well and add interesting contrast between him and Odysseus and Penelope.
Maybe...🤔
Maybe he would be a god of vengeance, wrath, or conquest.
I'm not sure yet. I might come up with something later. We will see 🙈
Do you think Titan Odysseus looks any different from God Odysseus? Are there personalities any different?
How exactly do Diomedes, Penelope, and Odysseus go about discipline/raising Telemachus ?
Any fun facts about them as deities (Telemachus and Penelope)?
What are the reactions of those from the kingdom of Argos (if he somehow managed to convince them of dating a Titan and a goddess)?
Okay so I have a headcanon about titans that they are much more of an embodiment of the domain they represent. It basically goes
Chaos > ancient gods (Gaya, Nyx, Tartarus) > Titans > Gods embodying elements (Limos) > "Olympian gods" > minor gods > nymphs/spirits > demigods
The further it goes the more human they are. For example Limos as goddess of hunger embodied her element to the point where even Demeter couldn't get close to her, or how Helios is sometimes described as the sun itself which never happened to Apollo.
Odysseus as a titan of peace would cause his surroundings to become calm. He sometimes visits cities that were victims of a panic to calm them down. He also helps by visiting places that are meant to be sanctuaries like temples. If he would stay too long he could risk people acting like lotus eaters and not being willing to work so he makes sure to not stay in one place for more than a month.
Titan Ody looks more like a harpy than a human (he has harpy legs and his body is mostly covered in feathers with exception being his chest, neck, arms and face) he has a pair of wings on his back and on his head.
God Odysseus looks mostly like a man in his twenties with wings on his lower back and head.
Raising Telemachus is different depending if it's god Odysseus or titan one. If he's a god, he, Penelope and Dio would stay in Argos at first and make sure if Telemachus is a god or not (since gods do not always give birth to other gods). Telemachus would be raised among people of Argos until he develops his domain.
If Odysseus is a titan they would raise Telemachus in the fields that are seen as Ody's main domain. Diomedes would make sure to take Telemachus regularly to some cities to make sure that he would know more about people. (Since God Ody is easily startled by people and titan one can't stay with them too long without affecting them)
In both Odysseus would share stories with his baby and show him many places while Penelope would introduce Telemachus to many books, arts and crafts.
Ody is more relaxed about raising Telemachus. He is a little bit overprotective but at the same time he wants his baby to enjoy what the world has to offer. Penelope is a kind but stern parent. She is the one who established things like bedtime or will give him timeout for misbehaving. Diomedes is at first confused as hell because he knows nothing about raising kids but he gets better with time. He also was only recently granted godhood or he is about to so he is still figuring out all the god stuff while trying to raise a baby that can easily lift him.
With the people of Argos it's a funny story.
At first they obviously didn't believe him when he said he's a lover of a titan. But once Sthenelus realised that Dio isn't lying he's PANICKING! Everyone knows that Odysseus has been married for over a century. They are scared that his wife will punish Dio and the entire Argos for this situation. They want to build a temple for Penelope to beg her for forgiveness only to turn out that Penelope doesn't mind sharing her husband (especially since the first thing Ody did was to ask for his wife's permission to have a date with a pretty human.) Dio decides to stay human until he finds someone to replace him on the throne and Sthenelus is always sweating bullets when he feels the presence of the titan and the goddess.

I listened to a lot of creepypastas as a teen. I know only the basics about scp and some of those creatures. (I also played "SCP: The Endurance" which is a fun mix of fnaf and scp)
I'm not sure about the Murphy law thing. I think in the only scenario it would work would be if Eris was causing it when people refused to tell her where Ody escaped or where he's hiding. Because of it she would cause some minor mischief/bad luck out of pettiness
Penelope always takes care of her adorable husband and he always makes happy noises or is grooming her hair (also decorating it with his feathers)
Hedgehogs are just cute little guys who want to be left alone and Ody relates to that.
If you think about it epic could easily be turned analog horror series.
So, as for god Odysseus do you have any fun facts about it or at least more of how their cults work?
I'm not well versed with analog horrors (I'm a bigger fan of creepy pasta/books/movies) so I can't say much about the first part.
And for god Odysseus:
- He invented wind chimes (as a source of comfort and also a simple alarm), people attach it to the window of the rooms that they want Odysseus to protect the most (like a child's bedroom), it also works as a basic alarm since trying to break in would make a noise (the wind chimes that are made as a sign for Odysseus have a hawk feather attached to it)
- His first temple was built in Ithaca by Ctimene.
- When he met Diomedes for the first time he pretended to be human to not startle the teen but he didn't realise that the young soldier was attracted to him. (Ody is super oblivious to courting until someone says bluntly what they want/feel)
- Eris is obsessed with Odysseus. She is in love with him and at first she tries to arrange the marriage between them by getting blessings from Hermes and Zeus. Hermes instantly refused and Zeus only refused because Hermes demanded it. She always chases after him and he escapes. It would be a symbol of how you don't feel safe in places full of discord and vice versa.
- Also there would be more than one myth mentioning Eris trying to be with Odysseus (In a similar way we have more than one myth about Apollo's bad luck with lovers)
- Ody chirps and makes bird noises when happy/sad/startled
- Because he was working too much (and because Ares got mad that many conflicts were stopped) Hypnos was ordered by Zeus to make Ody narcoleptic. Now Ody takes a few naps during the day.
- he gave the hedgehog its spikes. The small animal was often bullied by other creatures which made Ody sad, especially since the little being was always playing with it. Hedgehog originally had a very soft fur, it also explained how it was too scared to bite someone. And so when a satyr was using a hedgehog as a pillow to take a nap, Ody turned the fur on the back into spikes, harming satyr and scaring him away.
- bow is his special tool that he uses for his domain. The arrows when hit by someone will send a jolt/shiver that is a silent warning from upcoming danger (explaining idea of "sixth sense"/"sensing danger(having a bad feeling about something)")
Titan or god Odysseus. What's your take on dioodypen? Like how would it go?
With Penelope it would probably be the same as I described before.
Dio would stumble upon them by accident. He would travel only to hear the soft sound of music.
At first he was just visiting them regularly but then he admitted that he started falling for them
They would start dating and Dio would most likely accept ambrosia.
Also when he tried to tell others nobody believed him that he dates a titan and goddess

Winged Ody anybody?
Working on the second chapter of "Sing, O Muse, of Agony". New characters are introduced adding to building drama 🤭🫣
What if Penelope was Scylla? How would that go?
In normal epic?
Still Ody loves her the same.
I imagine Ithaca being an island that is way further from the mainland. There Penelope would have a special palace built for her and her family built by Ody. She probably attacks anyone who would be seen as a threat to her or her family.
Also everyone would be shocked, scared and impressed with the fact that Ody married and had a child with a gigantic monster.
There would be a joke where Ody describes Penelope in the sweetest ways and because of it nobody is ever ready to face her true form.
There is a really good fic with a similar promise on ao3 called "Appetite". I really recommend it to you.
What's your take on if Odysseus was transported back in time to the start of the Trojan War after defeating for Poseidon?
That depends:...
If it was just his mind going back then it could be an interesting way to explore his changed morality and his view on people.
He would probably make sure that Eurylochus does not have a reason to doubt him by being more clear in what his intentions are.
He would also struggle less/more with his PTSD which would change his interactions with Polites.
Also the journey back would be easier since he would know to avoid or to kill the Cyclop so they would back home in a few months or a year. (Only in epic universe)
But if Ody got physically transported back it would be just painful.
He aged ten more years, has scars he can't speak of and his friends would barely recognise him. In both of those he would avoid telling anyone what happened. Also in both it's hard to say what would be his relation with Athena.
She didn't have her character arc so he would face her cold self after knowing how she acts at her worst.
There is a high chance they would part ways anyway because Ody would not trust her and she didn't have the reason to change her mindset.
Let me present to you "Sing, O Muse, of Agony"
A retelling of the Illiad and Odyssey with two key differences being that Odysseus is a woman in this story and that she is/was in a relationship with Hector of Troy.
You'll have to see for yourself how things will turn out for them.

If you were your own Titan Odysseus lore, how would you go about it?
I mostly had one main idea. Where Odysseus would be a titan of peace (in the sense of calmness)
Odysseus would be a gentle titan who enjoys pretending to be mortal just to listen to stories shared by travelers. (That's how he gained most of his wisdom)
He enjoys some tricks and practical jokes but never something too cruel.
He and Hypnos would be friends and they would often be associated with one another for obvious reasons.
He's seen as a patron of caretakers and one of his symbols is chamomile.
His main story would come from how a god fell in love with him but he kept avoiding the advances with his words. Because of it the god decided to steal Eros' arrow and poured the gold from it into Ody's nectar. Once the titan drank it his tongue turned gold and he was forced to answer all advances with words of love.
To avoid gods/nymphs/people forcing upon him romances Odysseus started wearing rags and wrapping himself in bandages, looking like a sickly beggar so nobody would be interested in him.
He fell in love with Penelope who despite him looking displeasing she would always visit him. They would share stories while she was weaving baskets and he was carving in the wood.
Even then the Spartan princess would show her affection by gifting him instruments or singing love songs allowing the titan to listen to confessions without the need to say anything in exchange.
Helios decided to help the pair by whispering to the princess Ody's secret. His curse and his fears related to it. How no matter how much he loves someone he might not be able to ever be honest with them.
And so Penelope did something unexpected. She asked the titan to remove her tongue. Odysseus was terrified when he found out but then he understood. She did it so her words would never accidentally force Ody to say or do something that he didn't mean.
Once fed ambrosia, Penelope became the goddess of silence. Two beings with domains seen almost as inseparable.
Sometimes a traveler might hear in the middle of the night a soft humming of a woman and a melodic voice of man singing softly, almost whispering sweet words of love he has towards his wife.
Hi, I'm working on a Fem Odysseus/Hector story that would cover the entire length of Illiad and Odyssey (+ additional prequel at the beginning)
Soon I'll be posting the first chapter. Feel free to ask about anything and I'll answer as long as it won't be too big a spoiler to the story.
It makes me wonder how everything would be once Ody would be pregnant.
How it would affect everyone.
Also how would the Trojan war change.
Let's say that pact somehow still exists and Agamemnon is the one to take everyone into the battlefield.
Would the brothers argue over taking Odysseus or not? Agamemnon might be prideful but he knows that he needs her as the tactitian
What would happen if Agamemnon found out that Odysseus is female Omega during the courting of Helen?
Would he want to blackmail her/court her/ or maybe demand that she marries Menelaus since he wants to ensure a throne for his brother (not being sure if Helen would pick any of them)
There are a few different scenarios that could happen. But he wouldn't attack her. That just wouldn't happen. Because a. Thats a bad look for him to attack an omega (especially an omega woman) who's the guest of his host and b. He had braincells prior to the war so he wasn't a complete fool
1. He gets her to reveal herself to everyone else and now she is getting hounded by everyone else along with Helen. (He would make a fool of her in front of everyone when he outs her too)
2. He attempts to blackmail her into getting Helen to pick him and would demand she marry his brother so he has a throne. And this Would also include getting her to reveal herself and humiliating her. The hardest part is convincing his brother to go along with it because Menelaus isn't the type to marry someone doing it out of distress. (But he would also be the safest option for Ody to marry)
3. He courts her himself. Because hey Ithaca would be a nice edition to his kingdom and forces her to marry him. This is the worst case scenario but also least likely to happen. He has seen Odysseus fight. And I don't think he would want to go through the pain of trying to "tame" her.
4. He doesn't tell anyone and blackmails her without a demand she marry his brother but would blackmail her into marrying one of the other suitors to put her back in her place. And most likely that suitor is the one who reveals she's a woman.
I'd love to know what you think of Anticlea and Ctimene!!!
Menelaus would probably be a good husband who would care for her and give her tons of gifts but at the same time he would absolutely be overprotective!!!
Imagine him complaining that a basic greek armour is too short and is exposing her too much hahaha
Ody probably has her rebellious moments where she pretends to go to meet with some princesses only to cause chaos in disguise hahaha
And I bet Dio would be stubborn as hell. He would look for any way to get closer to Ody but ever since he welcomed her by kissing her hand, Menelaus was ready to draw some blood. Meanwhile Sthenelus and Euryalus would do their best to stop their brother from potentially starting a war over the omega hahaha
Ody would have Menelaus wrapped around her little finger with only exceptions being situations that could possibly put Ody in danger.

I thought of Dio who would show up later (after Ody and Menelaus would be married for at least a few years)
It could be extra funny if it happened after Diomedes was crowned.
Imagine Menelaus arriving in Argos with his wife only to see this young alpha being instantly smitten with his omega.
Odysseus would be oblivious to Dio's advances meanwhile Menelaus would wrap himself around Ody and grow any time Dio is (for his liking) too close to the queen of Ithaca.
Also I would not be shocked if Menelaus was a type of person who respected Ody as a strategist and a wise queen (mostly thanks to Athena) but at the same time he would panic seeing her having a problem with reaching for something from a high shelf or at the chance of her possibly being left alone with an alpha that isn't her family hahaha

I'm really fascinated by the idea of Agamemnon pushing Odysseus and Menelaus to marry.
Menelaus would probably be a good and respectful husband to Ody so that's nice 🙂👍
Also a little funny to imagine but Agamemnon would for sure be at least a little pissed seeing Odysseus being all nice and calm around Menelaus meanwhile he got almost mauled by her.
I also wonder how Menelaus would react seeing Diomedes clearly pining for Ody. I can imagine him becoming slightly possessive and protective of his omega but it's also possible he would allow Dio to court her but at least at the beginning Menelaus would be there to make sure that Dio would not try anything malicious on her.

Apollo would be banned by Athena from getting close to Odysseus once he has a different mate than a sun god.
Apollo while being with Ody he didn't understand that he was a bad guy in this scenario. He has a rather shallow understanding of mortals so in his eyes he was a perfect partner and mate to Ody.
Telemachus isn't honestly as weird as some other greek characters. Especially since it wouldn't be common knowledge what happened between Apollo and Odysseus.
How about Omega Odysseus who was secretly courted by Apollo (not eldritch one). When he was a teen (before Penelope) he used to train archery in the favourite spot in the forest. There one day Ody witnessed a beautiful hunter similar age as him who would ask to join in and even help Odysseus improve his techniques.
Athena sensed that something was wrong and she flew to her champion but it was too late. She witnessed a magically created field of flowers whose smell made the young omega overwhelmed and in the middle of it was Apollo who took the form of the alpha so she could bite the omega he fancied.
A year later during the courting of Helen, Odysseus kept his neck hidden. He didn't do it to be more presentable to Helen or Penelope but because he still felt uncomfortable when trying to explain how he got it.
Interesting 👀 go on
My take on this is that Athena is gonna fist fight her brother
And that Apollo 100% going to try to make Odysseus immortal after claiming him
I agree that Athena would fight Apollo. The only problem was when the heats started because now Ody didn't yearn for any alpha but for one specific.
Because of it for a year during heats Apollo was allowed to join Odysseus for those few days to ease the situation.
Apollo of course went over the top. He would bring the best foods, play music and take Ody to some beautiful private spots (anything to make Ody fall for him).
Ody was asked to join the courting of Helen so he would find another Alpha for himself so he would not be dependent on the sun god.
Also because of all the times Apollo tried to slip in nectar and ambrosia, now Ody has a huge distrust of anyone who wants to feed him.
Once he marries Penelope she helps him regain some trust and helps him feel comfortable again with telling what he wants (since he used to be too scared to tell Apollo "no")

Oh my god wait. What if the blessings of the gods manifested physically? Like if a god takes an interest in you, EVERYONE is going to see it, for better or worse. And if you lose their favour? Everyone can see that, too
Jason with a peacock tail and feather-crest, both of which go faded and limp when he turns on Medea, so that they drag on the floor and get in the way
Pollux with eagle wings instead of arms, so Castor acts as his hands and that’s why they’re inseparable. When Castor dies and Pollux splits his immortality with him, they each get one arm and one wing, so one can’t fly without the other
Odysseus with a forked tongue and fangs—a subtle feature that he can hide when he needs to. When Athena feels like being helpful (like when she disguises him as a beggar) she’ll cast an illusion over it, but Penelope immediately recognises him by his lisp
When Athena gives Diomedes the blessing of seeing through the gods’ disguises, he also gets owl eyes and the ability to turn his head 180 degrees. This helps when Odysseus tries to stab him in the back on the Palladium heist
HERACLES WITH BULL HORNS. I have nothing to add I just think that sounds sick as hell
Helen grows beautiful golden feathers instead of hair. Nothing useful, just an obvious sign of her heritage that adds to her appeal to the suitors: whoever wins her hand gets to walk around with a physical symbol of Zeus’s favour
Atalanta with antlers that snap when she gets married, leaving jagged shards behind that won’t go blunt and can’t be sharpened down. She can have her husband, but he can’t touch her head without risking badly cutting himself. This can either be one final blessing or a curse depending on how consensual you interpret the marriage
Hector has pristine white raven wings, making him even more terrifying to the Achaeans, flying into battle like divine intervention, and a symbol of hope for the Trojans. Achilles plucks the feathers off his corpse, but they won’t stop growing back. Still, Achilles has a cloak made from them and wears it into battle, turning Troy’s symbol against them
Paris gets dove wings, but he tells everyone they’re too small to fly with because he’s a coward and doesn’t want to have the same responsibilities as Hector. Then he flies away from the duel with Menelaus in front of the entire army, and that’s when Troy finally loses what’s left of their respect for him
At the same time I want to say "I'm sorry" and "Aww, thank you" because it means I'm a capable writer hahaha
I'm currently working on a pretty big story based on Illiad and Odyssey but I don't want to share publicly any details until I have enough of it planned out. You can ask privately about it if you want <3
What if Odysseus died instead of Achilles. Wouldn't that be fucked up
Like Patroclus dies, and then he kills Hector, and then his dad dies. He now has three corpses in his tent. And Priam comes to beg for Hector's corpse and tells him to think of his father. But his father is right there. He's dead. Your son killed my father.
Hi...I'm that person who wrote you the long comment about Ody dying instead of Achilles...
I love this idea of yours!!!
Oh god the tragedy!!! Priam probably saw his son as someone good who did everything that was needed for his people and now when he wants to retrieve his son's body he is forced to face the "monster" who killed his son only to discover it's a grieving child.
And referencing in your story how Agamemnon seemed to question Ody being Achilles' father...What if Achilles during the war tried to avoid being called all the baby names by his dad because he wanted to be taken seriously by all the older kings and generals?
Achilles would on purpose keep his tent further from his father's, go to other camps and where he would spend time with Patroclus, go hunting with literally anyone but his dad and suddenly....his dad is gone.
He guards his father's body preventing it from being buried (Athena would keep Ody's body intact like gods did with Hector's). He does this because he can't accept his dad being gone. He placed Ody's body in the tent of the Ithacan king as if he was sleeping and still had a chance to wake up.
And then Priam shows up. The Trojan king wanted to believe that Achilles was a monster but he sees a scared child who wishes to be hugged by his dad.
They make an agreement in the end.
And finally when people are able to convince Achilles to let Odysseus go, to have a proper burial so he can find happiness in Elysium he goes to his father's tent and starts looking through his thighs and he breaks down.
There were carved wooden toys. Almost the same ones he had in his childhood. Odysseus was probably making them in free time for Telemachus hoping to give them to him some day. Achilles chuckled with teary eyes remembering when as a kid he begged his parents that if he's going to have little siblings, nobody is going to take his toys.
He looked further and in between wooden toys were carved combs, tools and figures of warriors...Odysseus was making gifts for BOTH of his sons. Achilles had to stop himself from crying.
To distract himself he looked at papers and maps on the desk. There he witnessed plans to invade Troy. An idea of a trap with hidden soldiers inside, then he gazed at the wooden toys...he had a plan how to end this war.
When Helen was with them, Achilles refused to see her. He knew he wouldn't blame her for his father's death, and seeing (/hearing) the way she cried hearing about Odysseus' passing, he knew she already blamed herself more than enough.
But what hurt Achilles the most was realising how YOUNG his father was. He was a teen dad. They had around ten year gap in age. Achilles was in his twenties, people around him would call him a kid and yet now he's a similar age his father went to war. This man had an entire future before him and it was taken in one fight.
Now he truly understands why his father always hated war.
Because in war there are no winners...just survivors.

On the other hand imagine all the comedy that would come from Achilles suddenly learning how handsome his dad is (it's the first time he sees so many people catcall his papa) and he becomes extremely protective of him.🤣
He would make a scene if he thinks his dad's tunic is too short or he would glare at Diomedes and ask him with crossed arms "What are your intentions towards my father".
He treats his dad as an innocent maiden forgetting that this man, HIS FATHER has WAY more experience than him hahaha
-Not an angst post-
If Odysseus and Diomedes are a ~thing~ in this AU I don't know who would be weirder about it: Odysseus who has a guilt complex about Dio being younger than his son, or Achilles who has to deal with having a DILF as a father
In addition to that Menelaus broke down crying when seeing Telemachus for how much he looked like Odysseus.
I find the "Telemachus in 'Odysseus' realising his father doesn't know what he looks like as an adult" jokes hilarious, but also, this is what Athena said when she met Telemachus for the first time:
