My problem is that I have the heart of a Robin with the body of a Penguin.
The world isn't ready for another Danny Devito I gotta try to make things better for my next round

His face lights up with interest. "You're not leaving before your Tobirama teaches mine that jutsu." Madara obligingly pulls his alternate's hair just as hard as he likes it and moans appreciatively in response to the youngest Madara's efforts. "In the meantime, how about you tell me what you think you're going to do with that?"
SugarTobi is completely gone into subspace after hearing this older, stronger, less screwed-up version of himself complimenting him, calling him a good boy. He wants to be so good, is so determined to please gvTobi and follow his orders. Those words, that voice, he wants so eagerly to prove himself.
YoungestTobi earnestly squirms out of his trousers and his fundoshi follows immediately. There's an unexpected pleasure at the feeling of his naked flesh being pressed against a body equally as warm. It isn't a feeling he's had often and now he finds that he craves it, tugging at the hem of his shirt, wanting to feel more, to have one less layer between him and the addicting feel of his older alternates.
He can't recall the last time he was touched so easily; most people avoid getting too close to him. He knows it's his own fault. A stern nature paired with a sour face is hardly going to invite any sort of casual physical interaction. This is...this is an opportunity. Potentially his only chance for such intimacy.
I read a post earlier and then lost it before I could reblog it with some interesting information so I'm gonna throw the information out into the void.
The original post was a comment about how no one who has ever inked a comic has ever met a person of color before. They had very valid complaints about bad shading and inconsistent skin tones.
And y'all know me. I am a fiend for comic industry history.
Color in comics is obviously a huge deal, not just in skin but for iconic costume designs. The oldest and most well-known characters tend to be bright shades of red, blue, green and/or black. This is true across the board in early comics and it's due to a variety of factors. The biggest one being that most comics, to be made cheaply, could only use around 63 colors for a standard issue. On top of that, the way the DC and Marvel printed their comics was basically with pointillism and shifting densities.
Before I wind up regurgitating the whole article, let me link one of my go-to resources.
And
Actually, womenwriteaboutcomics.com in general is a fantastic educational tool and a great way to keep an eye out for opportunities to submit your own comic story submissions.
Thanks for letting me nerd out about comic history again!

Cool water is pressed to his lips and the youngest Tobi shivers as he docilely sips it directly from the older man's hand. He feels overheated, his throat aches, there is an uncomfortable wetness in his fundoshi, and his mind is more clear than it has ever felt before. He presses himself against the man in before him, holding onto him while he waits for his legs to regain their strength. Someone crouches next to him and begins patting his head comfortingly, "So good, you did so well, that was beautiful..."
SugarMadara smiles softly and a little bit ruefully. Between those two, this younger version of his lover will be more than fine as he rides out his first high. He wishes he had been able to do that for his own lover, but that regret is an old friend by now.
"My attitude got me my Tobi; yours would have surely frightened him off..." Or not. He is well aware of how fragile his Tobirama had been when they had begun dating. It is uncomfortably possible that this other Madara could have pushed him enough to pull an emotional attachment out of the broken man. Whether this version could have kept up with the myriad of issues that accompanied Tobirama outside the bedroom is what would make the difference.
His younger self glances at him, possibly noticing the change in his elder's mood.
He is very quiet as he responds to the eldest's likely rhetorical question. No need for the Tobis to hear this, even if he is certain his own already knows.
"I have worked very hard to keep my lover happy because I am so very bad at letting go. Once I truly began to think of him as mine..." Madara grimaces, but if anyone could understand, it would be other versions of him.
"I will not give him a reason to leave me, because he will never be allowed to leave me. As long as I keep him happy and safe, as long as he loves me, I won't need to make him stay at my side."
I love and support Steve Hofstetter so much you guys have no idea how much of a comedy groupie I am for him
Slade Wilson makes me want to write an au where his son, Grant, joins/is adopted by/marries into the Batfamily during his teen rebel phase.
His codename is Wrenegade.
Wouldn't that be some shit? All this lethal potential and he's using it to be a martyr vigilante in the hellcity? Slade would have a coronary. Batman would be the most smug bitch. Grant would keep the orange-and-black just to flex on his shitty bio-dad.
He'd hang out with the Waynes and everyone "in the know" would know that Batman poached a kid from Deathstroke.
"Slade is a titans villain!" "Slade is a Batman villain!" Slade is his own fucking villain. Have you seen the bastard? He is the main component in wrecking his own life godbless.
Tim and Bernard would absolutely have a closet full of tailored superhero kink wear holy shit
Asfdhda Bernard has absolutely desecrated Tim while dressed as Spoiler, too.
I will SELL MY SPLEEN to the first person who draws Bernard wearing Zatanna's magician outfit (SPECIFICALLY the fishnets, yes) GO GO GO!!!
This would be tough to see, because on one hand, yes, if Tim as a familiar presence calms Damian from his immediate state of fear/aggression, then that is good and preferable to safety holds and restraints.
What's bad about it is using another child as a pacifier and putting that responsibility on them when there are adults around who should have some training in traumatized kids. They live. In Gotham. It's been years, it should be in the teacher's handbooks by now.
So, maybe this could work for the first incident, but if it continued, then it's not fair or right to turn Tim into a teenage parent whose education, hobbies, and friends are being interrupted by (and the implication that they're seen as less important than) his brother's episodes.
There's a difference between looking out for your kid brother at school and being their sole support unit. It would not be a healthy environment for either boy.
If it were to get written, I could suspend disbelief for light-hearted fluff or reluctant brotherhood, but I'd really like to see it done by someone with a good grasp of real life CPP and New Jersey school policies. I'd really want to sink my teeth into the complexity of social work and student accommodations for a student in both Tim (two-school-shootings-and-counting!) and Damian's (Tiger Mom Assassin) situations.
do you guys think considering the relatively small age gap between Damian and Tim (depending on the author) that they would have been in school together? because coming from a youngest sibling who went to school with older siblings, that would be really interesting to look into.
i’m imagining Tim getting pulled out of class because Damian’s thrown a tantrum and refuses to listen to any of the teachers and they need his brother to convince him to calm down, and it actually working because Tim is the only person Damian is familiar with and so will ever listen to. Damian having no interest in making friends with civilians so he ends up sat on the end of Tim’s lunch table while Tim eats with his friends. Tim getting bullies in Damian’s class to back off, and Damian scuffing his foot on the tiles of the school halls as he waits for Tim to get out of detention so they can walk home together like usual.
considering how strained their relationship was when Damian first arrived in Gotham, putting him in an environment five days a week where suddenly Tim is his only true familiar ally and he has no choice but to accept being on friendlier terms would be really fucking interesting. suddenly Tim is his protector, and although he refuses to let that effect their home dynamic, he does have to accept that at school at least, he needs Tim to be his older brother.
I don't know how to look up the actual Tumblr thread so here's a Reddit screenshot of a Tumblr post. I am so down to see some cryptid batfam, I love seeing those chaotic worlds

SugarMadara groans as his younger self licks over the head of his cock, mouthing it and sucking gently. He buries a hand in the man's hair, but his other grabs a handful of the eldest's mane, yanking his head to the side.
The danger is fantastic. A hand on his neck countered by his teeth on the other's throat.
"Mutually assured destruction, then. We can all stay right here, no one touches unless they're approached."

SugarTobi turns his head to catch gvTobi's fingers in his mouth. There might have been a garbled murmur of "my turn" before he begins showing his own talents. YoungTobi joins in for a bit before returning to leaving lazy hickies on his older self's neck, grinding himself slowly against the man's legs.
SugarTobi barely has the presence of mind to fetch the small tube of lubricant he's made a habit of carrying with him (he and his Madara tend to have stupid amounts of grinding sex and after that one time, he's made sure to stay prepared). He passes it to the eldest, pulling off from his fingers just long enough to mutter distantly "I'm gonna...'m falling, too. Fuck, whatever you want, I want to do, too..."
I say he should call himself the Coot, just to be extra fucking petty about how many times he's had to deal with mind games and intellectual-type villains.
Also, they are occasional nest parasite water birds with red eyes and black heads who are known to starve their weaker cooties of they don't kill them outright. And they look like ducks but they aren't ducks.
Hmmm hero with a habit of late nights, with a cowl and black hair who lives(d) on a houseboat. One who is known for looking like someone he's not or having imposter syndrome in general.
I'm just sayin'!
"Tim's next hero name should be (insert basic ahh bird name)!"
Incorrect, I believe it should either be a reference to a detective novel or some really weird/ less heard of/ complicated bird name.
"The Babbler"
"Slaty Thrush"
"Night Owl" would actually be cool, ngl...
"Sunbird"
"Crake"
"Eagle Owl"
"Red Rumped Swallow"
"American Pipit"
"Azure Dollarbird"
"Blood Pheasant"
"Barking Owl"
I think you get it.
