1. cuddling

Lance doesn’t like being all touchy in public, but that doesn’t mean he minds it in private as well

he likes hugging generally, the warmth of another person is an unusual but comforting feeling. he sometimes feels like this is something to be ashamed of, so it used to be Guardian who initiated the hugs and cuddles

after he finds out she actually enjoys these (in the arms of their beloved is a safe heaven for both of them), he’s more “brave” about these, but still in private or when not many people are around

it’s not that he doesn’t want to show off, he just doesn’t want Guardian to get into uncomfortable situations because someone sees the two of them. she reassures Lance that she doesn’t care what others think, but he still prefers to play it safe

also, hugs and cuddles are only an option when his armour is off. Guardian probably told him once that cuddling him in that feels like she’s hugging a rock

how often your inbox is open? there were two occasions where I closed it, once when I had many requests, they just kept coming and I needed a little time to catch up. I don't even remember why I closed it the second time, but most likely something school related. my askbox is almost always open

what is the post you found the hardest to write? there isn't one exact writing that was hard for me, generally the ones with characters that I'm not really close to (Ezarel, Valkyon, Lysander)

what topics are the hardest for you? none ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ well, I mean. if you want me to write a let's say, plumber!Castiel AU, then it would be hard because I know literally nothing about plumbing, but I think I'd manage it with research and stuff if it's a sensitive theme, I might just refuse to write it (or to write it explicitly) because I can see it during online education that you can't just learn anything from the net, and I'd rather not write something than write it wrong

do you find it hard to say no to a request? I haven't said "no" to a request yet, so I have no idea 😅

what Tumblr writers do you like the most? okay, so. @marycecilyy is / was perfect, I'm really sad she won't write for MCL anymore, but I still stan her, I'm sure she's going to write masterpieces for SE as well. she's partly the reason why I joined Tumblr anyway, but shhh! don't tell her! joking, I reblogged this from her, lmao, I'm a dumbass I consider @vanillaamoursucrethings more an artist than a writer, since I've seen her draw more, but when she writes, damn! absolutely amazing! I wish I could describe things as perfectly as her, the way her writing "flows" is literally perfect my English vocabulary is not enough to express how much I love @idolcandy. amazing. showstopping. spectacular. I started reading for MCL here and on AO3 way before I joined Tumblr, and I realised afterwards that my favourite writings were from her. 9999 / 10. definitely would recommend

how long do the requests usually stay in your inbox? few days, maybe a week or two, but I don't think I've let an ask sit more than that

do you prefer to answer the requests or to write your own ideas? both! it's a bit more comfortable when the idea is mine, since I don't have this "what if they don't like it?" feeling in the pit of my stomach, but I really enjoy writing requests ^^ it makes me really happy when people "trust" me with bringing their idea to life

Chaos in the skateboard park (Iris, Kim, Armin, Castiel)

title and theme inspired by @centralsaints. we chatted a bit yesterday about how some HSL characters would go skateboarding in our imagination, and I came up with this. I included some things Max personally said, I wrote them in bold

the base for this whole headcanon is the sadly not canon fact that Iris, Kim, Armin and Castiel sometimes go skateboarding together at ungodly hours

Iris:

Iris first got a skateboard from her brother. Thomas saw skateboards in TV and in parks a lot so he asked his parents for one, but he was too young at that time to actually learn how to use it, so Iris got it in the end

the first thing she did was repaint the whole skateboard by herself

she has way to much fun with tricks. she failed many times in the beginning, but her countless bruises didn't stop her. she got better and better with time though

sometime around high school starting, she gets a longboard for herself, she's basically a pro with it

Kim:

Kim buys a skateboard when she starts hanging out with Iris more, somewhere towards 6th grade maybe. the temptation is great when she watches Iris do those tricks, so she decides to use some of her money that she put aside for when she moves away

she finds a relatively cheaper skateboard on Amazon and decides to get that, she doesn't really understand what's the fuss around those really expensive ones

skateboarding is a bit hard for her though... not being able to use her legs separately is a pain for her, so she switches to rolles skates after some time

Armin:

no one knows where Armin got his skateboard from. he just kinda appeared with it one day at the skateboard park, walked up to Iris, and joined her

he saw many videos on YouTube about various tricks, and he actually manages to learn them! magic

this magic suddenly disappears when someone looks at him though. not once could he do a trick with audience, he always tripped

Armin uses his skateboard therapeutically. he suffers from insomnia, so jumping on his skateboard in dawn usually helps. he doesn't focus on his problems because he has to concentrate on not falling

Castiel:

Cas only started skateboarding because Armin once went "wait, let me show you something" and pulled Castiel with him to the park

he enjoys the company and the vibes more, he's usually the first one to stop and rather sit down

he doesn't leave them there though. he stays to watch them, maybe have a cigarette in the meantime

sometimes he brings along Lysander, who's too stunned to give it a try, but he thinks that all those tricks are fabulous!

collective:

Iris and Kim often go to school together as well. Armin joins them when he can, but he doesn't want to abandon his brother, so it's mostly when Alexy goes with Rosa or when he's sick

Castiel likes skateboarding in the afternoon / night more. sometimes he forgets about time, and stays until ungodly hours with the others, blasting music, having fun

the people who live near the skateboard park loathe them with all their heart, but what can they do

Iris and Armin always try to teach the others new tricks. weirdly enough, Armin is better at explaining things, while Iris shows the tricks

Kim is welcomed to join them even after she switches to roller skates. Armin help her learn tricks with that as well

Kim's used skateboard ends up in Iris' hands, who decides repaint this as well, though the painting process is done together. (in reality, they sit around Iris who paints it, but whatever)

Write it shitty, write it scared, write it without a clue but don't you be so spineless and have an AI write fanfic for you.

Candy’s P. O. V.

After all windows of the Advent Calendar were opened, the house was decorated (although Castiel took down some ornaments he didn't like) and gingerbread was made, Christmas Eve finally came. Both of us were in the city, me to pick up his gift, while he was a guest at Ronnie Dialy’s along with Leo and Gabin as Ronnie planned a little get-together for them to celebrate their new album. The celebration must not have been interesting, since Castiel was chatting with me while I was on the bus. I looked again at his latest message (“I’ll try to hurry, I promise”) as I typed in my answer.

“I sure hope so. this is not the first time you stood me up for him. I could be jealous ;)”

Even the thought entertained me; me being possessive over Cas, being against sharing him with a producer much older than him. Not surprisingly Castiel found it funny as well, responding in a similarly light tone.

“ah, he’s not the one you should worry about, someone else already stole my heart <3 could you tell her that I’ll be home in time?”

I didn’t have time for more than a quick “I love you” reply because the bus stopped at the pet shop, and I didn’t want to miss it and walk back in the snow. Castiel had been going on and on about how Pancake needs a friend, so I decided one day that I will get a new dog. My knowledge about dogs was limited, but I still couldn’t ask him about it, so I picked out a cute husky puppy. Hiding the little girl would have been hard, but luckily the owner promised me that I could pick her up from the shop.

Back home, I started getting ready for our own dinner. I knew that Castiel was most likely stuffed at Ronnie’s, but I couldn’t miss the chance show off my cooking skills. I didn’t know if onion soup was a traditional Christmas dish, but no one could argue with my brined roast goose. I was intent on eating one, since I had a lot of childhood memories tied to it.

Sitting at the table, lost in thought I didn’t even realise that Castiel arrived, only when he covered my eyes with his hands.

“Hmmm let me guess” I pretended to think. “Nathaniel?” His hands left my head as I felt a kiss pressed on my cheek then I heard his laughter.

“Very funny. No it’s me, I came as I pro...” here he trailed off, sizing up the amount of food on the table.  “Wow, how much time did you spend on making these? This is way too much food, we’re never gonna eat it.”

“We are!” I protested. “And don’t worry, the process wasn’t actually long. If you want to, we can skip to the gifts of course.”

I knew he didn’t want me to buy a gift for him, he even told me. As I expected, he blushed immediately but I didn’t let him start again, so I just stole a quick kiss from him, then took his hand and started going towards the living room.

“Come now, we can eat later.”

Fighting; undressing; what turns him on (Guardian x Nevra)

8. fighting

as we have seen it many times, Nevra is both a womaniser and can easily get jealous. he moved on, but he can’t bear to see Guardian with someone else, which causes many arguments in the beginning

their figths are usually serious, neither of them being afraid to use harsh words. afterwards, they clear things, but the circle soon starts again

it will take some time for them to get into a proper relationship, but when it happens, their petty arguments are replaced, and they rather sit down and talk things through when something is up

17. undressing

Nevra can easily make Guardian’s clothes magically fall down, he considers clothes an awful barrier between the two of them

if Guardian strips herself in front of him, that’s heaven and hell for him at the same time. oh, how he wishes to be the one doing it, while observing it from afar is also enjoyable...

with all those accessories on, undressing takes quite a time for him, making him even more glad when he can finally join Guardian

18. what turns him on

he does like to see Guardian in clothes though, but more in fitting ones, that show the curves of her body

he also likes to watch Guardian please herself what a creep, but he can’t usually stand it for long and “helps” her out

also, seeing Guardian be protective of him... that fills him with such pride, he’s sure to return it later 😉

New Year’s Eve Prompts 🎆

Their friends dare them to kiss a stranger at midnight and they are just tipsy enough to actually do it.

The party was great but now it’s time to find their way home, in the middle of the night in the freezing cold in high heels and a party dress.

Learning other people’s weird New Year’s Eve tradition is always fascinating but not always fun. 

At first they thought it was the firework but then the knocks on the door became louder.

She never thought watching billions of Euros going up in colorful flames and loud noises could be this romantic.

They were so distracted, they even missed the clock striking midnight.

It’s the morning after a wild New Year’s Eve party and there are quite a few regrets.

Spending the New Year’s Eve on a boat and watching the fireworks go off on the shore is a once in a lifetime experience.

With the pandemic, New Year’s Eve parties have to be a little different this year.

It’s a couple minutes after midnight and there were already a couple resolutions broken.

When the new neighbor tests their firework a few days early, she wants to protest. But they are kinda cute.
