She texts her hearts with 8s instead of 3s so they look more like butts. For example, like this <8 or this 8> (very versatile XD) Also, her favorite number is 8 in general because it's the number that looks most like a butt. It's her favorite also because of the infinity symbol and it rhymes with fate.

Finally googled if anybody discussed the meaning of "Just What I needed"

So here's the link to what people think the song is about. https://songmeanings.com/songs/view/5845/ Basically, if you gender-flip the song, I think it fits Tina's relationship with Jimmy Jr. She has no idea why she likes him and he's not that healthy to be around but he's just "what she needed" anyway. It's a cynical, dark song about a toxic partner that the singer shouldn't be with but they are drawn to the partner anyway in short. So yeah, not the most positive song for Tina the poor girl. Though not sure if that was the intention on the part of the showrunners to signal that Jimmy Jr. is toxic or they just thought it was a good song for spin the bottle?

Honestly, I just want to see the Hormon-iums end credits be analyzed. More specifically how each boy of the 4 reacted to Tina kissing them. I mostly only care about Zeke and J Ju obviously. Jimmy Jr. and Tina are obviously more confident and have no hesitation because they kissed before. However, I just find it cute that before Zeke kissed Tina he tilted his head and raised his eyebrows as if to say "Are you sure you want to do this" or "you ready for this" (at least that's how I interpreted it). The point is, there was some hesitation before the moment. After it happened, Zeke was shocked and his eyes opened faster than Tina's did. Even though the end credits aren't canon, it's still interesting to see all the different ways the kissing was animated and it wasn't just a copy/paste kissing animation.

As always this is very much just my opinion! My interpretation! My headcanons! (sorry for any mistakes).

First I want to take a look at the kiss with Darryl.

Because I think there is something interesting to take into account. I want to think Tina chose Darryl over Peter in this moment because they kissed before in "Can't buy me math".

I like to think they are still friends. We all know Tina loves kissing but many scenes make me wonder if to her it does not always has to be romantic. She just likes to kiss without the prospect of finding her one true love through it. Maybe it's all practice?

The first kiss is very quick, just a peck and means nothing. Darryl even wipes his lips while Tina is monologing.

And now let us look at the other kisses. I gif-ed them.

Nameless Boy #1: I feel like this boy knows what he is doing. They near each other without any hestiance, both having their eyes open at first. He realises that he is not closes enough, peeks and closes the distance. It's simple and short and there is no romantic intent or passion. Tina doesn't smile and it's just a short soft peck. Her eyebrows rise after the kiss but I guess it's suprise because he closes in rather fast and she is pushed back a bit. Let's get over with it XD

Nameless Boy #2: I wonder if that was his first kiss. He goes in with closed eyes. Makes me also wonder if Tina realised her mistake from before. She has her eyes open until she knows she is close enough and only at the end she closes her eyes. Again the kiss is a very soft short peck. What I really find remarkable is how he his eyes fly open. He looks so suprised. Not sure because it is over already or if it was better or worse than he thought? Also it does not feel romantic. Again it's short and Tina does not smile!

But I headcanon that since Louise coached her Tina is a really good kisser. She also had a lot of practice xD. Either way, if it was his first kiss... good for him :)

Zeke: As you said, there is this questioning look on Zekes face - tilt of his head down wards, raising of his eyebrows - before he moves in. Interesting is, that Tina moves at the exactly same time so the communication of her agreeing must has been somewhere we aren't able to see.

This is after the episode "The Oeder Games" in which Zeke told Tina the second time that he likes her. And this is also after the episode "Stand by Gene" in which Tina considers Zeke as a potential Love interest - even if only for a second.

I'm not sure if it just me but Tina seems to smile a bit more than with the others? I'm not 100% sure though. But what is happening is that this kiss takes a bit longer. Still quick but longer. It's also not one of them moving while the other waits, no the both move at the same time. They reach the middle at the same time and both have their eyes closed. They know where they have to move! And what I really love (like you mentioned!) is after they move away from each other Zeke looks so suprised like "first kiss with Tina!!!" and his eyes actually snap open because (I imagine) he wants to see her reaction. And Tinas reaction is amazing. Because her eyes OPEN SO SLOWLY?! She moves back, her mouth returns to it's normal position - maybe a slight smile - and then her eyes slowly open. Like she thinks that was better than she thought.

This is so different to the other two. It's also soft but different soft... holy shit.

Jimmy Jr.: Last one. Jimmy Jr. is the boy she had kissed most of the times at that point. They had been on-and-off in the last five seasons. Here too, both move in at the same time. They know what they do, they have done this before BUT the last gap is closed by Jimmy Jr. This kiss seems to be like the least soft. We also don't see the after-kiss. Right after this it cuts to black.

What is interesting is that there is also not going on much on Jimmy Jr.s face. His eyes drop at the beginning and I wonder if it's because he has to figure out how much he has to lean down so he can reach Tinas lips. Tinas eyebrows lower while she is leaning in but immediately raise up right before the kiss. She also seems to smile a bit? Compared to that JJs expression is sill very neutral and that is so in-character. He always seems so distant and there is never shown any reason why he likes Tina.

Maybe he likes to kiss Tina? She is probably is very good at it but in this case it's also just a game?

I'm honestly stumped about Jimmy Jr.

So, I hope you enjoyed that. As an (almost) last thought: I was very confused about you saying "the credits are not canon" and wondered where that came from? And then I realised that sometimes that might be true XD For example when they are just pixels. But stuff like this here I actually consider canon, as well as some of the the scenes when they are back in the restaurant. Maybe not the singing part but Tina kissing all the boys at the party? Yeah that seems like it can work. But in the end I guess it's up to us what we want to add to our (head-)canon.

Made a MHA OC!

Since I'm already consumed by the Kacchako ship, I might as well go all in and create my own character for the franchise as well. I basically wanted to create a character that's the polar opposite of Bakugo that he would hate. lol I had a lot of fun making her and figuring her out as a character. Her hero name turned out to be harder to think of than expected. I wanted to make a hero name that was a pun on her surname like some hero names are. However it was so hard to to find a hero name that not only sounded like I could make a pun on her surname but is also the Romaji translation of an English word AND makes sense for her quirk. I stuck with Powder Puff because that's basically the name meaning of the kanji for Konasui and her look is inspired by the Power Puff Girls so I might as well embrace. Anyway here's some more details about my OC since I couldn't fit it in the main file. Birthplace: Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture Favorite Things: Chocolate covered cream puffs, strawberry shortcake, sherbet, boba tea, shoujo manga, anime, onsens, and botanical gardens. Age: 24 as of chapter 430-431. Given how short she is, I don't know how different her proportions would have been in high school? I don't think much would change. Though given she doesn't become a sidekick in the traditional sense (no fancy hero high school for her), I didn't really have her teen appearance in mind when creating her. Occupation: Sidekick to Wash Agency after Rikido Sato. Anyway, that's about all I can think of to talk about for this character, let me know if your curious about her in anyway. My Kacchako Babies Have Forms!

For context I drew Shinkei at age 14 while the other two are both 6. First off I changed Zuyoboru's name to Shinkei because I grew to hate the way it flowed with the last name, Bakugo. Shinkei, it makes the reference to Izuku "extending a hand" to others more subtle but it still works. Also Shinkei could be a pun for another kanji that uses Shinkei that translates to "nerve" which fit his quirk so it all works out. Plus it uses kanji from both Best Jeanist's and Edgeshot's name as a way to honor them as thanks for keeping Bakugo alive during the final war. I also decided to make Ayase the only one with a quirk that's associated with Bakugo's and Ochako's quirk. I thought it would be more interesting for Ryochi to cause destruction while quirkless instead of a natural disaster's quirk based on the combination of Ochako's and Katsuki's quirk. Plus, it felt thematic in a "history repeating itself" way given that Inko and Hisashi Midoriya have essentially similar, less poweful version of Katsuki's and Ochako's quirk. Anyway, I don't normally draw anime so I hope you like my designs. I did my best. I had fun developing these concepts and finally giving them form. I doubt it if I'll do it for the rest of my MHA fankid concepts because I was only planning to give Kacchako special treatment. lol Edit 12/8/2024- Realized too late I somehow mistaken that "kei" kanji I used was actually the thing that Best Jeanist's name was making a homophone type pun of and not part of his actual name. Regardless, it's still works out in the end. I just thought I should be honest about that blunder after the fact. XD Edit 12/10/2024 - Changed Ayase's name to Misaka because I was bothered by the ending sounds of all the kid's name leaning to similarly and I wanted to break the mold. I also wanted to add more symbolism to her kanji. Edit 12/18/2024 - Changed Misaka's name to Tochiya because I can never make up my freaking mind! Also I saw potential for alternate kanji reading potential and wanted to pull an Izuku to Deku for Tochiya. Just something to continue my pattern of history repeating itself/karmic justice thing I'm going for with the Kacchako kids.

Edit 3/22/2025 - Changed their last names from Bakugo to Uraraka, Changed some character bio details, and Changed some features of Tochiya's face so it would make more sense.

In celebration of the new season coming out in a day or two, here's the Belcher kids, Zeke, and Jimmy Jr aged up. Louise's gang is still small but she's working on it, she just appreciates being part of a group that appreciates the thrill of smashing glass items and burning other items. To explain Zeke's tattoos. On the left arm is a gardenia on his upper arm while the rest of his arm is wrapped up in weeds. On the right side is a harpoon stabbing a bleeding heat and the blood drips to the bottom and forms an ocean. So he has a beach arm, I was going to give him a Saucy tattoo to add on to the beach arm, but I thought it was too silly and declined it.

As for Gene, I thought it would fit him to give him a skort. All the fun of a skirt and the sex appeal of shorts. I also think it would just fit Gene's love of being a goofball that always surprises you. For Louise's hair, I combined Bob's mom's hair and the top of Bob's hair as well. I want to bring the feels of her looking a little like Bob's mom and taking after her dad with her hairstyle because she will always be a daddy's girl whether she admits it or not. Looks like Tina took Topsy's advice and pulled her hair back. I wanted to combine the vision of older Tina with longer hair as well as pulling her hair back because she looks good showing her whole face. I didn't even need Topsy to tell me that because I dug her no bangs look during the stage fright flashback when Tina didn't stop the hairdresser from cutting all of her bangs off. Tina's glasses were originally going to be blue until I saw that they were too many blue glasses-wearing characters. I changed it to yellow since her barrette would be hiding anyway. It worked out because I found out that Tina's eyes are blue so the yellow glasses will be a great contrast. I also thought a cowl neck sweater dress would fit her because I like to imagine her using the cowl neck to hide her face in shame or awkwardness. I also gave her the choker necklace because I like it too. For Jimmy Jr, I decided to give him dance shoes so he looks like he's always ready to dance. Also, I decided to give him a goatee because he would probably wear one to spite his dad and his butt chin. Anyway, hope you dig the designs. Tina's is probably my favorite. Edit 10/4/2022: I changed Zeke's facial expression and gave Tina, Gene, and Zeke some earrings. Edit 10/09/2022 I changed Zeke's designs because I started hating his pants. I gave him cargo shorts instead. I also gave Zeke's shirt very short sleeves that were inspired by @bluebirbbs design. They are very short though because I didn't want to cover his tattoos. I gave Zeke more facial hair compared to the three lines in his old design. I liked his soul patch in the season 12 finale and gave him some stubble because I thought it fit him. The biggest reason I wanted to give him shorts was because of the leg hair. I wanted to show him as a hairy guy but I couldn't do it with his arms because of the tattoos so I went with legs instead.

My Hero Academia Next Gen Fankids Concepts I Decided to Do for Fun:

While I don't know what I'm getting myself into, I just couldn't help myself. The concept of mixing quirks based on genetics is just so interesting and I can't help but want to give it a try for myself. I don't plan to draw any of the fankids though. They're more concepts and idea exercises than me actually putting the effort into actualizing them as characters. I just want to have fun with quirk mixing. Regardless, I hope you have fun reading them who ever cares enough to or at least get a good laugh at my terrible attempts to make good Japanese names out of kanji when I have no experience in knowing the language whatsoever. XD

Also if you don't like a ship I chose, please be civil or just ignore me. You ship your ship and I'll ship mine. Now to start off with the totally least controversial ship in the MHA fandom! Katsuki Bakugo x Ochako Uraraka: Zuyoboru Bakugo (爆豪 手伸):

First born son of Katsuki and Ochako. He has light brown hair, (this hex code #bb9064 I plan to be giving more hex codes to help paint a picture), brown eyes that are shaped like Bakugo's (#a05334) (though they normally look closed like Ochako's mom, only really opening when he's in serious mode), pink cheeks, and skin color that's fusion of both parent's skin tone (#f7d5bd). He by all means looks like normal kid, to the point he almost thought he was quirkless. That is until he accidentally bit his tongue and swallowed his own blood and in his vision multiple red threads that only he can see, varying in opacity.

Hero Name: Crimson Fate Quirk: Destiny's Thread. When taking a sip of someone's blood, Zuyoboru is able to see the invisible threads that connects people with each other. The more of a connection people have with one another, the more vibrant and visible the thread is. The drawbacks are it doesn't last long until the blood disappears from his system and he's out of luck if the blood he drank from didn't have a great connection with the person they are trying to find to begin with. Not to mention with how many connections people can have through out their lives, it's get a bit overwhelming trying to find the thread he's looking for. Lastly, blood really doesn't agree with his stomach so he barfs it up as soon as the threads leave his vision. (That's right, I fused Himiko Toga's and Edgeshot's quirk for this kid like a mad woman XD! I don't even know if it's biologically possible and it more than likely isn't. It's anime though and I need the drama! I didn't use the Shin kanji for nothing after all lol.) Ryochi Bakugo (爆豪 凌地): Second born son of Ochako and Katsuki. He has brown spiky hair (#894727), Katsuki's eyes (#c1423f), and Katsuki's skin (#f5d1b4). Hero Name: Blitzaster

Quirk: Natural Disasters. Ryochi has the ability to control the tides with gravitational pull to control the size of waves. He can also use the explosion aspect of his quirk to cause earthquakes, bomb, cyclones, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and avalanches. Though, he can only cause earthquakes or other natural disasters when he is able to touch close to the place the earth is weakest with his hand. Another aspect of his quirk is that he's an extremely fast runner, so fast he lifts off the ground and is basically a meteor (think of something similar to fire boost from the Sonic Rush games but more in the air). The only issue with that is, he doesn't really have anyway to stop without crashing into something. So if nobody is able to stop him before that happens, he's usually knocks himself out from the force of his landing. (I'm a little lost trying to figure how to make a natural disaster quirk work while it still fits the concept of mixing gravity and explosions. I'm mostly trying to avoid anything that involves wind. Though feel free to suggest what to do to make this quirk work.) Ayase Bakugo (爆豪 花星):

Daughter and last child of Katsuki and Ochako. She has Katsuki's hair color (#ecdbba), Ochako's eyes (#a05334), Ochako's skin (f9d8c5), and pink freckles (similar to Ochako's pink circles but smaller and a cluster like little, pink stars but dot shaped). Like her mother, Ayase also has the little bumps on her fingers to activated and deactivate her quirk. Hero Name: Novalty Quirk: Shooting Star. Ayase can create stars at any size (as long as it's within her limit) that orbit around her head until she presses all her fingers together. Once she does that, the stars fly at rapid speeds at her target and explode on impact. The bigger the star, the more power the explosion. She has the potential to form two stars into a supernova, however it's risky because she either get a neutron star or a black hole after dealing a powerful blow with the supernova. However, the drawback of using such a power for her is that if she creates too many stars or ones that are too big for her to handle she becomes light headed and faints. (I'm debating whether if I should give her a power similar to the boost power I gave Ryochi or not. I don't want it to accidentally give the kids two quirks when I just want it to be part of just one quirk.) Wow... I didn't expect for this post to be as long as it was. So I guess this MHA kid thing is coming in multiple parts because I have more to share that I don't want to do here. It's probably for the best that Kacchako gets it's own separate post while I do the rest in another one or two. XD Either way, I hope you enjoy reading this whoever you are. I don't really expect this to get much traction. I'm glad I had fun quirk experimenting regardless. Here's the ships I plan to do the fankid quirk experiments in the next post (or at least the ones I have atm, I might do more later, who knows). I’m just as confused as you are Shorty! The battle of the sexes angle always made me scratch my head figuratively. I mean technically it was three episodes with “Helga’s Makeover”, The Harold vs.Patty episode and “Ghost Bride”. Other than those three episodes, gender isn’t that big of an issue like it was on Jimmy Neutron for example.

I’m positive that Craig mentioned it at one point in an interview what it was a reference to, but I can’t remember what the gosh darn reference is! All I can remember is something about Craig mentioning it was a reference to something and how he wanted to twist it around to have a more chill approach because that’s who Arnold is. I wish I could be more helpful.
