Funeral
With Jesse no longer “helping” New Directions, they are in New York!
First off, besides minor changes for my own continuity’s sake, most of the episode is staying in!
Keeping in:
About 85%? I love Kurt continuing his streak of crimes to sing For Good, the Finchel content is actually sweet. For a finale this episode is nonconsequential.
Klaine still do say “I love you” for the first time in Lima Bean.
Here’s what changes:
Quinn’s motivations (?)
Since she and Finn broke up amicably she no longer has a reason to “ruin” their chances at Nationals. Instead, she focuses herself on writing, and tries to put her competitive nature into getting them a win.
She, with Sam, Mercedes, Santana and Rachel, write “Pretending.” At this point, they decide that Rachel and Finn will sing part of the song, while Santana and Mercedes sing the other part.
Santana writes her feelings about Brittany into it.
Will and Broadway
Will, who has been consistently struggling with small-town mentality, realizes that though he loves performing, that time is gone for him. Instead, he uses the moment to try and fuel his student’s dreams, and vows that next year, he will be different. It’s a season’s worth of actual growth.
Finchel Kiss
It stays in, but this time, the reason they lose is linked to the fact it throws off Santana and Mercedes a bit-not by much-but they are visibly stumbled. They are able to sing it just fine, but the pause is long enough to cost them. The whole time, Santana is looking at Brittany, but instead of longfull pining, she smiling, and it’s more a promise than a sorry.
Plus, you know, they came up with these songs and choreo two nights before.
END
So, S2 ends with the crew together, 12th place, but they are, despite their loss, are much happier, and already are planning for next year. Sue, in Will’s office, tells him she’s allocated a portion of the Cheerios budget for the Glee Club, and swears that she’ll stop trying to tear them down.
Why didn’t anyone ever tell me that if you ask a teacher for help you might just walk away knowing the subject matter???

10 YEARS OF KURT & BLAINE ∟ Fandom Favourite Scenes (2/39)
We had the plane on wire tracks that the dancers would always lift accidentally during Toledo Surprise so it would be my job to army crawl on our second layer during intermission to retape them.
Lemme just say that I LOVE your username
Thank you! My freshman year my school did The Drowsy Chaperone for the school musical I was on tech and it was so amazing it kinda never leaves my brain.
I’m sure this has been done before but
Sorcerer’s Stone
“I’m new in town, and it gets worse.”
Chamber of Secrets
“We found a pool of the killers blood in the hallway. Ooh gross! Mop it up! Now back to my hunch.”
Prisoner of Azkaban
“We’re gonna frame you for murder! And you’re gonna go to jail for 30 years!”
Goblet of Fire
“I also don’t want to be doing what I’m doing.”
Order of the Phoenix
“I’m so horny and angry all the time.”
Half-Blood Prince
“Whoa! You just killed an old old man!”
Deathly Hallows Pt1
“Do all my friends hate me? Or do I just need to go to sleep?”
Deathly Hallows Pt2
“And that’s the end of that story, but how f*cked up is that, right?”
I’m back!
Prom Queen
So there isn’t much in this episode. I love the Furt content, I love Rachel/Mercedes/Kurt/Santana competing, and I do love Sue in this as well as seeing what Will does for her at the funeral, despite their pretty terrible relationship.
So, as usual, I’m just going to change a few things around. I’ll be going by character arc this time.
Sue
Instead of her conspiring against the glee club most of the episode (IE getting their plane rerouted with Terri) Jean’s death just stops her energy for her anti-glee club ways. Kurt and Finn still take the lead in getting the glee club to help with the funeral.
In the end, Sue pays for the cost of the trip entirely, and thanks them (Specifically Furt & Will) for helping her despite the fact that she’s done horrible things and tried to stop their club.
This will result in the build-up of S3.
Finn v Jesse (aka Jesse v Glee Club)
Jesse’s comments, along with the fact no one (even Rachel, who is still considering her feelings for him) trusts him, get to Finn and the glee club. After Mercedes, Santana and Kurt put on their same, great performances and yet Jesse only compliments Rachel (and everyone else is there watching) they decide, as a club, to get him out-that none of what Jesse has to offer in advice will work for them.
Mr. Schue, who has finally come to terms (seeing how hurt and angered the whole glee club is with his favoritism) agrees, and sends Jesse away, despite Rachel’s conflicted feelings.
He decides, right then, that not only are there to be no more sole-singer solos, but “duets” will be broken down so at least two couples (and not necessarily romantic couples either) can perform them, along with a group number that will try to feature everyone, and save duets and solo competitions for the glee club’s own personal competitions.
They all (with a little bit of convincing to Rachel) agree.
End of Fuinn
A day after the funeral, Finn is considering Sue’s (spoken by Will) speech. When he and Quinn meet for a date, and they spend time just eating dinner quietly, he comes to the realization that the spark is gone, and that though he loves the idea of Quinn, he doesn’t love her the way she deserves or should.
Quinn, who has been playing her prom queen moment again and again, realizes she needs to be herself for awhile: without the attachment of a boyfriend or idealizing the idea of romantic love and popularity.
Their growth throughout the season (year) lead them to amicably breaking it off, realizing that their history, their personalities, and their wants are leading them to different things. It’s finally a end to a relationship that isn’t messy, isn’t by cheating, and is just two people who realize it’s best to end it now rather than risk pain later.
In no particular order:
Kurt was an “oops” baby. He was certainly wanted, but not planned. The Hummels had to quickly move homes because they lived in a one bedroom house.
They were married a year (in their early twenties) when they found out Elizabeth was pregnant.
Elizabeth was a painter and tailor. She made money by doing commissions, like murals for the city or seaming wedding dresses.
It was also just Burt and Elizabeth (my headcanon name for his mom). Elizabeth’s parents didn’t like Burt because he was blue-collar, and Burt’s parents were old and gone by the time Kurt was 2.
He was also two weeks early. Burt was working in the mechanic shop to until he got the call. He had been working on the underside of a car, got the call, slid out so fast and was out the door in 3 minutes, the employees who still work for him tell Kurt that story all the time.
He was going to be a Burt Jr, but It was actually Burt’s idea for him to be Kurt, because their first date was to a screening of Sound of Music at a drive in. They decided to give him his mother’s middle name so he had a piece of each of them in his name.
In his baby/toddler years, Kurt was a very judgmental baby. It wasn’t that he hated everyone, but he preferred his parents. He was still very giggly though.
Kurt had a million interests as a child. He loved musicals and dance, but he also loved watching his dad work and would watch him work on cars with big eyes.
His favorite outfit as a toddler was a mini version of the Hummel Tires and Lube coveralls + a tutu. An interesting choice, but it made him happy.
Elizabeth would make her clothes in a way-she’d get pieces from shops, and then change them to how she wanted them. This is what inspired Kurt.
Kurt’s first job was working in the tire shop. Their favorite thing to do was to was when a jerk customer thought that Kurt didn’t know what he was talking about (or just being a jerk in general), one of the employees would come over to help, say “What do you need, Mr. Hummel?” and watch the customer’s cogs spin in his head until he figured it out.
It’s one of my favorite quotes. here: Someone has to leave first….

I think a lot of people are taking C!Tommy hearing C!dream out and accepting his reasonings as forgiveness.
In no way was that what it was. C!tommy didn’t forgive C!dream he just simply listened to him and realised that they both had the same motive.
They both wanted peace on the server and to go back to how it all used to be unfortunately C!dream let the idea of power get to his head and let it control him.
C!dream is still a bad person, he openly admitted to torturing C!tommy and not seeing a problem with it because in his eyes C!tommy was the reason for the lack of peace.
Juts like how I’m C!tommys eyes C!dream was the reason for the lack of peace on the server. They both had their motives and they both went about it different ways but in the end the goal was the same.
C!tommy hearing C!dream out and allowing him to explain isnt forgiveness it’s more of a realisation of everything from the last 2 years and how maybe everything could have stayed the same if maybe they just spoke to each other rather than instantly going to fighting.
And C!tommys little sorry at the end wasn’t an apology for the past more of an apology for what was about to happen. C!tommy had just remembered about the nuke, being so caught up with limbo and C!Dreams explanation that he forgot.
Then the alarms go off and that’s when he remembers. C!tommy had signed them up for their death and there was no escape.
Just after they both realised that maybe they can still get peace on the server, maybe they can start to go back to how it all once was and start to heal, the nuke arrives and all hope is lost.
They’re going to die in this prison, hell on earth for both C!tommy and C!dream. Where they both got tortured and where they both lost a final cannon life (C!tommy twice) and it’s all because C!tommy sealed their fate way before by asking C!tubbo to set off the nuke.
That’s what the sorry was for. Apologising for what was about to happen, for sealing their fate, for essentially getting rid of any and all hope they may have had. Not a sorry for his past and definitely not forgiveness for C!dreams actions.
At the end of the day C!dream is still not a good person and C!tommy knows this but that little bit of hope that maybe they could begin to heal and maybe he could be happy with his friends once again and live in peace was all he needed to not want C!Dream dead for good.
