So, fun fact!

Aizawa has expelled 154 students before he got 1-A. Assuming that he doesn't expel the recommendation students (long shot, I know), he's been teaching for nine years, and that's assuming he's expelled nearly every student he's got. Including recommendation students in the expulsion ceremonies, he's been teaching for eight years, still assuming he's expelled nearly every student under him.

Now, I can't believe that there were that many "unworthy" kids in each previous iteration of 1-A, so he's likely been teaching probably closer to twelve years to account for that many expulsions - aka pretty much right out of high school himself, since he’s thirty at the start of canon.

WAIT STOP. This little detail about Gaara stopping the sand in the hour glass is fucking hilarious when applied to any other situation. He and the fam are playing Pictionary and the other team keeps commenting on how it JUST FEELS like gaaras team is getting more time to guess, but they cannot for the life of them figure out why. Finally it clicks and Temaris like “you absolute fucking knob, you’ve been manipulating the sand in the timer.” And Gaaras just sitting there, legs crossed, completely smooth faced. “Prove it”. All hell breaks loose in the Nara household that night.

“The moment Hizashi sees her, throwing herself at a three pointer like a human cannonball, he knew- he was going to be best friends with her if it killed him.”

A firm hand landed on his jacket and jerked him to his feet and against someone. He instinctively clutched onto their jacket as they turned him away from the onslaught of bodies, shielding him with their body.

Izuku swallowed and opened his mouth to thank his rescuer. He looked up to see none other than Yagi looking down at him with a dispassionate state. He could feel his entire face turning an interesting shade of crimson.

“You need to keep on your feet, Midoriya,” she said in a low voice, either unaware of his impending combustion or just not caring. “Crowds can be dangerous.”

One of the things I love about BNHA is all the headcanons you can come up with that make sense and don’t change a thing plot wise, which is why you can rip my half-German-Yamada-Hizashi headcanon from my cold dead hands.

casually rereading this story that’s pretty good, and I get to the end and find out this author hasn’t updated in like three and a half years. what a jerk, not giving me more to read.
