Pros and Cons of living in Alaska

Pros:

Hella pretty

Hella good food

Hella nice people

Also hella cute animals

And most importantly, its hella cozy and you know everyone because its so small(*cough cough* not the state I mean the communities *cough cough*)

We get some pretty small events, like a giant pride picnic every pride month(at least where I live)

Cons

Its cold and dark 50% of the year

And the other 50% its bright until midnight

Tourist season is awkward and you cant get anywhere without seeing a brightly dressed tourist

Pollen fucking everywhere, theres clouds of this satan dust blowing off the mountain

Snow doesnt melt until March-April

Bears are adorable fluffy assholes, they will stalk your trash and break it open like a peanut

Schools are low budget like seriously so much shit has been cut due to budget issues

Salmon spawning is both interesting and terrible, take your dog to the beach during spawning season. They be smelling like dead fish for weeks

Oh yeah, earthquakes are a thing

That's it for now. Dont get me wrong I love my little community(Juneau) but as someone who lived in a big city for 2 years believe me when I say Alaska is a "tiny" yet cozy state

The mashup you never thought would work

I have a theory about Luther.

So he said that he never had any friends growing up, right, which means he doesn’t have that much of a mental framework for relationships. Thus, he only had his siblings or mainly his siblings to look to for comfort and relationships. Therefore, he fell in love with Allison because he didn’t have any exposure to too many other people besides his siblings.

Also, I think that after his transformation he feels that, similar to nurses marrying their disfigured patients during/right after WWI because it was thought that no one else would be able to see past their disfigurement, he feels that only someone who knew him before his transformation would be able to stomach seeing him as he is now. The man canonically has such poor body/self image that he doesn’t think anyone would love him other than the few people who knew him before the accident.

Random couple: having a screaming match right outside my house

Story: so literally this is happening like right now, some random ass couple have been habing a screaming match since 11:00 pm, why? I dont know and dont care. I physically can't sleep until my brain is like "time to sleep now" because quarentine has messed up my sleep schedule real bad. So I just listened to them until, the police get called. It is now like midnight and they stopped I guess. So yay?

I used to relate to Shane because I was a sad depression teenager who just needed someone to relate to. Now im still that but I've found new and better creators, I unsubscribed to Shane after the Jake Paul series. Mac and Garret are my 2 favorite creators and they are just so much better, Garret is so precious and im honestly happy he(and Drew) doesnt make videos with Shane anymore(from what ive seen lately)

Shane Dawson is racist and complicit in racism. He isnt being “manipulated.” His history has always been there. He is friends with Keemstar, Trisha Paytas, Tana Mongeau, and more. All these people have an extensive racist history, just as him. His business partner is Jeffree Star, a literal racist who made Nazi makeup products and was verbally abusive towards black artists, esp black women. Even now JS is still getting exposed for his mistreatment of black people and Shane remains by his side creating products together.

Stop shifting the blame on Shane being ‘gullible’ and ‘easily manipulated.’ He doesn’t need protecting. He is a GROWN ASS MAN. Hold him accountable. Let’s also not forget Shane’s older videos where he joked about r*ping young girls which idk if he ever even apologized for. There’s plenty more white gays on YouTube with corny humor to watch.

In defense of Luther

So umbrella academy season 2 is officially out and I think I can safely say that, Luther is not that bad and he is my favorite character. I probably lost most of you but I think this needs to said, this will be me explaining why I dont hate Luther(quite the opposite really) and you shouldnt either.

1. The Moon

One of the biggest points of hating Luther is that he wont shut up about the moon and how he should just get over it because it was 4 years. But lets be honest, how many times did he really talk about the moon? Because its not that much in the grand scheme of things. Luther was left on the moon ALONE for 4 years, doing things that he thought were meaningful and helpful to his father but it turns how Reginald didnt even bother reading his reports and letters. Its not just about the 4 years either, Luther spent his entire life in that house and once again he was ALONE both physically and mentally. Physically, his siblings left him and started their own life. Mentally, his siblings were never really there for him they all were put up against each other striving for their fathers attention.

2. Fatherly love

The hargreeves siblings never got their fathers love, which effected them differently. They didnt even get real names, their names were given to them by Grace and no their father. Now as you know Luther is the only sibling you trusts Reginald, why? Because he's never given a reason to not trust him. He is number 1 and that means he has the most responsibility and the most trust from his father. Which royally fucks your mindset up, he has a superiority complex of course, but why shouldnt he? He's the most emotionally naive and pair that with the grooming tactics from Reginald, you have a poor kid wrapped in their fathers web. Not to mention that he was deformed and turned into a monster by the only person he trusted

3. The "Betrayal"

So as you know at the end of the season Luther hugs Vanya and then throws her in a tight cell. Most of the fans hate him for this very specific reason, but should you? Of course its a really scummy thing to do and its good reason to hate him, but you have to understand why. Luther has only seen the destructiveness of her powers and moments ago he saw the woman he loved(which is super gross but there's a reason for it) almost die at the hands of his sister, who he didnt even know had powers. In his mind she's the reason for the apocalypse and locking her up will stop it, but of course it doesn't. How was he supposed to know that? Its what his father did and in his mind it seems right. Also the other siblings(except Allison) didnt really try to stop him either, why pick and choose based on what character you like. They had no fucking clue what to do and it seemed to be the right choice.

I have a genuine request, if you hate Luther tell me why. That doesnt include "he's annoying" or "he wont shut up about the moon", I'll wait
