My heart was literally pounding when I watched this scene. I was so scared one of them was going to die!! đ
I loved how determined Omega was saving Crosshair!
She didnât give up!!
She didnât leave him and wait for the bad batch to come; she rescued Crosshair!!
She was determined to save her brother!! đ
Also, Crosshair looked so panicked and it made me even more terrified for him! đ„șđ°
Plus, Omega has good aim to shoot from the surface into the water. Just like Crosshair when he saved her and Azi later on.đđ»đđ»
Please please please season 2 be kinder to us who love Cross and donât want him separated from his WHOLE family (because Omega needs her Ori Vod too and we see how her little heart is breaking for him too)!!!!
Season 1âs finale broke my heart...on par with season 2âs finale of The Mandalorian and Iâm OBSESSED with anything Grogu. Favorite of all the shows right now are: tying for number 1 is The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch and tying for number 2 is The Clone Wars and Rebels!
Speaking of content I desperately crave. Bring back toasty toothpick man. I will not rest till the Bad batch is a whole family again.
MY LIFE IS THESE TWO (And Grogu) BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT SEEMS TO ME THAT NOT A LOT OF OTHERS AGREE WITH ME. I simply cannot find a ton of fan fictions (especially), pictures, etc of these two!!!!
Any one who can draw a really good picture with these two (in character but with a strong bond) or write a good (hopefully longer) fanfiction is my new best friend!!!! Omg! Or these two with Grogu haha! In a lot of pain, this chronic illness girl pain days are filled with Star Wars lol.
I'm just throwing it out there. Anyone who makes or tags me in Crosshair and Omega sibling content is instantly my best friend. No questions, no arguments. You are my favorite person in the entire world. I love them and they deserve to be best friends and yes, I am terrified of the upcoming finale.
Love ANYTHING Crosshair and Omega but unfortunately there isnât much for them :(. Donât know why but them as brother and sister and how she fights for him and loves him unconditionally!
"I don't know what you see in her."
Crosshair looks at the now sleeping Omega, curled under the blanket Hunter gave her, peacefully just breathing in and out. A feeling of warmth grows in Hunter, and he's tempted to smile, but he doesn't.
"Have you never felt the urge to protect someone?"
"I've felt the urge to protect you", said Crosshair, bitter, staring at his brother, curious for his reaction.
Hunter stares back. Does he really think I don't love him anymore? Words flood his head, words he prepared and thought of in endless sleepless nights on their ship, thinking about Crosshair, about Omega, about their future. Hunter never wanted Crosshair to leave. Just how can he convince him to see it through his eyes?
"Crosshair", began Hunter. "There is nothing I wouldn't do in order to protect you. But there is not just you around. I have to think for everyone."
"And you choose to do the most dangerous thing for all of you. To leave Camino and to disobey the order. You're all just prey now." Crosshair take a step in Hunters direction, now just inches away from his brothers face, but Hunter doesn't step back. "If you really wanted to protect everyone, you would have stayed, and not made you criminals."
"They were after Omega, Crosshair. They brainwashed us. When the chip influenced Wrecker, he almost killed us. How can you obey a system that just wants to control everyone?" He stops. Another thought comes into his mind. "If you would have come with us, you would know what I mean."
"I highly doubt that."
"What is life for you, Crosshair? Is it just being a soldier? Is it just obedience and betting on the faster horse?"
Crosshair lowers his eyes. Pain is all over his face. Hunter can see it.
"You were my life", Crosshair whispered.
Hunter relaxes. This is the Crosshair he knows. He knows he's brother since they were children. Crosshair always was the tough, the cold one, but deep inside, Hunter knows that he carries a heavy burden. He need safety and stability and control more than every other soldier from his squad. Change is not for him, he's sensitive in a different way than Tech is, but he is sensitive to it.
Hunter was anxious about him from the point order 66 happened. Things changed, and Hunter knew that they had to change with them. But the decision to separate the two things in their life that were especially Crosshairs safe spot; the army and the squad - Hunter knew that would have consequences. He knew Crosshair would be a nervous wreck, that he would be rude and aggressive and hard to control because that's how nervosity shows in Crosshair.
But never would Hunter have thought that between those to things, the army and the squad, Crosshair would not choose the squad. He stayed with the army. The new army, the imperial army.
"If you would have come with us", Hunter says, "I would have done everything in my power to make sure you're okay, Crosshair. Because that's my job." He sighs. "But I can not help you if you keep running away."
"On Omega." Hunter steps forward and moves the blanket so it covers her entirely. She sighs cutely in her sleep. He finally smiles, but just shortly. "You know, Crosshair, I didn't replace you with her, even if it might feel like it."
"Then what. You didn't even knew her."
"She needed protection. So I took her with us. And I would have done the same with you, if you would have chosen to stay." He looks down on her. "She's full of love, you know? So thankful for every single little thing. And I think she showed me what life really is about, Crosshair." He looks up to make sure his brother looks him in the eyes.
"Love. Not the army. It's about the people you love, Crosshair. It's about protecting what you have. And if you love your ideals more than you loved us, than I'm okay with that. Then go and keep hunting us and obeying whatever the Empire wants you to do."
In a last attempt of getting close to his brother and fighting the urge to just pull him into his arms, Hunter lays a hand on Crosshairs shoulder. "But if you think that you can love us and even our sister, who loves you so unconditionally even though you can't do that back, then, please Crosshair, come back to us. I don't think there is even just one bit of something evil in your heart. I think it's just fear."
Crosshairs eyes search the ground. He can't look at Hunters face no more. And as his brother picks up the little blonde girl who shares his blood and sleeps so peacefully in his arms and slowly walks away, he doesn't even think of going after them or aiming his weapon at them, as he should do at this point.
Love?
And as Hunters words haunts his mind, another thought follows the odd one worded question.
What am I more afraid of? That the things will change in an inevitable way or that I will die alone?
And suddenly it comes to his mind that he would never be able to raise his weapon and shoot his brother. Not Hunter, not anyone else. Did he forget the relieve he felt when he knew that his mission was just to hunt Hunter down, not kill him?
What would he have done if his mission would have been exactly that?
Crosshair knows that he's standing somewhere dangerously in between the love for his brothers and his obedience to the army. He tries to balance the two things that his life was about and he will eventually fall into the abyss between both of it if he does not choose a side. And oh, he did not do that yet. He thought he did, he thought he chose the Empire, because Hunter choose Omega. But he didn't. Both if them didn't. Because for Hunter, Crosshair is now sure, this is not what it is about.
Yay another Crosshair and Omega mini fic? Not sure what to call these but I LOVE it along with anything to do with these two. Need more Fanfictions for them!!!
Crosshair: *doing his thing, death-staring into the void, chewing on his toothpick*
Omega: *comes nearer, watching him a while, smiles at him*
Crosshair: ...
Crosshair: what do you want
Omega: Can I have a toothpick too?
Crosshair: ...
Crosshair: fine
Crosshair: *takes out toothpicks, hands them to her*
Omega: *takes one and puts it in her mouth*
Omega: *proceeds to chew and eat the thing like a pretzel stick*
Crosshair:
Crosshair: Kid.
Crosshair: Kid, no.
Crosshair: *drags Omega to Hunter* take your child back
Summary: Omega is sad and the guys try to show her some love, in their own unique ways.
Note: slightly AU.
Affirmation
"If the Kaminoans say I'm special, they'll always send someone after me. This won't ever stop." Omega wrapped her arms tightly around her knees and hunched over, as if trying to shrink into herself.
Echo frowned deeply, brow knitted with concern. He knelt down beside her and looked her straight in the eyes.
"You are special, Omega. Be proud of that." He put his hand on her shoulder and squeezed it gently. "Don't worry about anything else. We'll take care of the rest."
Acts of Service
"Omega?" Tech walked over to where the girl sat. What a dejected sight she was, alone in the shadows.
Omega looked up miserably.
Tech cleared his throat and handed her a comm device.
"I made this for you. With this, you will always have a way to contact us." Tech refrained from mentioning the close call she had with the bounty hunter on Pantora. The trauma was still too fresh.
Omega's face brightened and she took the comm device. "Thank you, Tech," she whispered as she regarded the commlink with utmost reverence.
Physical Touch
"What's the matter, 'mega?" Asked Wrecker. She sat huddled on the floor, knees drawn up to her chest, a forlorn look on her face.
"I'm just afraid they will never stop coming after me. After us." She looked up at him, worry creasing her features.
Wrecker squatted down in front of her, face serious. "Don't you worry about them," he said in a low, reassuring voice. "No one comes near you when we're around. Yeah!" He slammed his fist into his open palm. "We'll make sure of that!" He reached out a huge hand and ruffled Omega's hair boisterously, making the girl giggle and try to swat his hand away.
Giving Gifts
"Hey, Omega?" Hunter sat down beside her. She looked so helpless and lonely sitting in a dim corner on the Marauder's floor.
"Hi." She replied softly, eyes downcast. She had her arms so tight around her knees, it looked like she was trying to disappear into herself.
Seeing her like this tugged at his heart. He sighed, then remembered his purpose in coming. He took a deep breath and smiled.
"Close you eyes. I have a surprise for you."
She finally lifted her gaze. Sad brown eyes met his, and his smile nearly faltered. Hunter tried to convey as much warmth as he could with his expression.
Omega closed her eyes.
"Hold out you hand," he instructed. She did as told. Hunter gently placed a small wooden item in her hand. He watched as her mouth quirked up, eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"Okay, you can open your eyes now."
She opened her eyes and her smile turned into a grin as she held up the small wooden tooka carving to her eyes. She picked it up and turned it over in her fingers slowly, mouth dropping open as she remarked at how perfectly carved and smooth and beautiful it was.
"Look at its little nose!" She squealed in delight. "Thank you so much Hunter!" She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him.
Hunter exhaled softly and hugged her back.
Quality Time
Crosshair observed the small figure sitting in a dark corner of the ship. His sharp eyes noted the gloomy look on her face and the occasional quivering of her lips. He looked away with the intent of ignoring her, but yet another shuddering breath drew his gaze back to her.
Annoyed, he spat out his toothpick and crossed the distance between them in three quick strides and scowled down at Omega.
"Alright. Spit it out. That's thrice already. What's wrong with you?"
Omega looked up, her eyes widening in fear when she saw his face. She quickly looked down and buried her face in her knees.
"Nothing," she mumbled. "I-I'm sorry," she added in a whisper.
He glowered down at her, hands crossed over his chest. She seemed to grow even smaller as she hugged her knees tightly, hunching over, face pressed tightly to her knees as if she was trying to sink into the floor.
Crosshair blew out his breath and shook his head, and quietly sank to the the floor; close enough to hear her, but not too close to intimidate her further. He hadn't missed her frightened expression earlier.
They sat in silence for some time; he chewing on his toothpick and she sighing to herself. At one point he thought she'd fallen asleep when the sighs stopped. He turned to check, and saw her staring at him with wide-eyed awe.
"What?" He snapped, raising an eyebrow.
She blinked. "Uhm..have you been sitting here long?" She ventured timidly.
"Long enough to know there's a problem." He shifted on the floor, stretching a leg out in front of him, and stared fixedly ahead.
From the corner of his eye he saw her mouth clamp shut, then open, then close again. With a final heaving sigh she turned and settled against the wall, leg sprawled out in a similar manner as his. She also rested her hands on her folded knee, just like he did. He snorted softly in amusement and gave her a sidelong look.
"Thanks for sitting with me," she finally said. "It was getting kinda lonely here."
They continued to sit in silence, companions in solitude.

I LOVE THIS!!!! I AM OBSESSED WITH GROGU!!!!
why din is a good dad: a thread - part two
1) he encourages grogu to practice walking whenever it is safe to do so (and heâs secretly proud of him too)
2) will literally stand off against a private to-hire army to keep his adopted son safe
3) he uses cute lil nicknames when no one is looking
4) he is always positive with his sons crazy voodoo powers even though he doesnât understand it, he just wants grogu to learn the way of his people like he himself had (he does get a lil wee bit excited when grogu levitates shit but wonât admit it)
5) takes him out on cool and totally not dangerous essential trips in the air with his jet pack⊠cause itâs fun.
6) this. din is a fierce mandalorian warrior softie
7) he makes sure that before anything his son is ok and in good health
8) he teaches him good table manners
9) he includes him in his conversations so grogu can begin to learn other languages and experience other races and species
10) he would go against everything he has ever lived by just to let his son see his face, and so that he can look upon grogu with his own eyes
din is a good dad not through his words alone, but through his actions. he scoured half of the galaxy just so his son could find his people again and get the life and education he knows is best for him.
he could have kept him. he could have done nothing and left him.
but no.
din is a good parent because he is willing to travel across the galaxy for his son and his son alone.
his love is unconditional.

Can we just,.,.accept that both Crosshair and Hunter had their reasons for doing what they did?? And honestly neither of them really did anything wrong??
Hunter left Crosshair because he tried to kill them. He didnât understand anything about the chip, he really thought Crosshair had just lost his mind. And as soon as he learned about it and how to fix it, we immediately jumped to episode 8 where Crosshair tried to incinerate them with a jet engine. He tried to communicate that the chip was affecting him, and Crosshair didnât care. Hunter couldnât even get himself or Omega out of that situation unharmed. He had no way to snag Crosshair from his squadron of stormtroopers out for murder. After Bracca, Hunter was focused on getting Omega back because sheâs just a kid; she isnât with the empire, she hasnât been chasing them down and almost killing them. From Hunterâs POV, the possibility of getting Crosshair to come with them willingly or even at all is looking bleak and even though he knows itâs not Crosshairâs fault, heâs been so overwhelmed with trying to keep the people relying on him safe and right now he doesnât think Crosshair is relying on him. And honestly, how were they even supposed to know where Crosshair was half the time? He wasnât on Kamino 24/7 and the Batch isnât exactly swimming in imperial informants. But that aside, of course he was thinking about Crosshair; Hunter is loyal to a fault and you can just see the emotional pain that flashes across his face whenever Crosshair is mentioned because thatâs his little brother and he couldnât save him and he feels like he failed. Hunter never was and I donât think ever can be indifferent when it comes to the people he loves. Whether you like it or not, Hunter was trying his best to keep everyone safe and stop running suicide missions because the galaxy was changing and he was trying to change too. He did nothing wrong.
Now Crosshair.
To all of you calling him a Nazi and saying that the animators and writers intentionally lightened his skin just to make a racist show of dominance, stop it. He was referring to their genetic enhancements being superior. Thatâs it. Heâs always hated regs because letâs be fair the regs were never exactly good to him either (AFTERMATH). Now letâs just take a look at how the chip works shall we!! We know from Rex and Wrecker that clones know what theyâre doing while under control of the chip and theyâre powerless to stop themselves. So we know in Aftermath that the chip was strengthened to an insane degree, and Crosshair could still see himself taking head shots on his brothers and trying to murder them and he couldnât stop no matter how badly he wanted to. He was powerless. And then the Batch left; at this point he probably understands that his brothers had to go. Theyâd regroup. Theyâd know this wasnât his fault and theyâd come back.
Months pass. Crosshair doesnât know about the solemn looks the Batch exchange when heâs mentioned. Crosshair doesnât know that they can barely get food for themselves. Crosshair doesnât know that Wrecker has flat out said he misses him. Crosshair doesnât know how Tech said âit doesnât appear heâll be needing itâ with a twinge of sadness in his voice while giving Omega his comm. Crosshair doesnât know how much Hunter hates himself for leaving and that Hunter was always planning on going back to him someday because someday heâd have the perfect plan and he could save everyone this time. How could Crosshair know?
More time passes. Crosshair probably still has his chip on but heâs still in there, watching himself become more and more important to the Empire. No rescue attempts. Not one. How awful does he have to feel?? They went to get Echo out of Skako with no backup and they didnât even know Echo and they canât go back for him? And hereâs the Empire, giving him power and some semblance of control. Things are changing fast and now he has nobody but himself to adjust with, and besides, heâs always had an egotistical side so maybe being a commander and putting the regs in their place isnât so bad to him after all. Heâs alone. He adapts or he dies, thatâs the job and thatâs all he has now.
Onto Bracca!! If Crosshair is telling the truth about getting his chip out, I firmly believe it had to have been after the events of Reunion. It wouldnât make sense otherwise; âif I wanted you dead, you would beâ sweetheart giving the order to have them incinerated and starting to walk away really seems like you wanted them dead and then going from ordering Omega to be executed to telling Hunter that if he cares about her he should let her go and be safe away from them??? You canât tell me that Bracca!Crosshair wouldnât have dragged Omega back into the training room and killed her right there just to keep them from choosing her over him. So letâs just assume for now that Crosshair wasnât lied to and his chip is out (Iâm still holding onto a scrap of hope to the contrary because A. thereâs no scar B. HEâS STILL HOLDING HIS HEAD and C. my boy isnât making any SENSE he just killed off a bunch of Imperial stormtroopers to convince the Batch to join his Empire that he cares so much about??) it had to have happened after Bracca I said what I said idc. If the chip is out, Iâm sure his head is still an absolute foggy mess because lord only knows what cranking those chips up to full strength several times will do to you, but suddenly heâs realizing that heâs still angry with them. Heâs still hurt. Heâs still very much alone. Maybe they never cared about him at all.
And donât get me started on any âif he did any of this willingly he is irredeemableâ garbage. How many times did Kallus almost kill the Ghost crew?? Iâm sorry, was it not Kallus who ordered the Lasat genocide?? Donât take this the wrong way, I adore Kallus and his redemption arc was one of the most beautiful things about Rebels but the point is if he can do all of those horrible things for the Empire for years and is still allowed a redemption stemming from realizing everything he thought he was fighting for was a fiction, THEN SO IS CROSSHAIR. With that side note out of the way letâs think about how alone and betrayed Crosshair feels by the Batch and letâs realize that after they left Ryloth, after they left him again, what does he want?? He wants them. He doesnât want to kill them, he doesnât want them imprisoned and he doesnât want to make them pay. He wants to fight side by side with them again, he wants his brothers back. And even though heâs so beyond hope that they still care about him, heck he literally said âdonât make the same mistake twice; donât make me your enemyâ he thinks they were enemies and he still cares about them so freaking much that he went through an entire elaborate scheme to get the whole Batch on Kamino and set up the stormtroopersâ deaths to prove his loyalty that they could have if they just gave him some of their loyalty too. âLoyalty means everything to the clonesâ is starting to get a really bitter taste innit??
The point of this longwinded rant my friends is to beg yâall to stop being so black and white about these two. Theyâre both human, they both have made mistakes and have regrets, theyâre both trying their best to survive in a galaxy flipped upside down. Things played out how they had to and theyâre both victims of the real villain of Star Wars, who has always been Palpatine. The fact that there is so much to unpack with these two characters shows how flipping amazing the writers are!! Theyâre so layered and complex itâs literally like theyâre real!! So please. Stop hating on them so freaking loudly. Theyâre my boys and they both deserve a warm hug and a nap after the season theyâve had
Love her! Watched her in SO much especially Mulan, ER, and now as our girl!
