ahem ahem I come bearing gifts of more assorted toothache lore!

some Finn lore!🦈:

-plays keyboard in the band

-19 y/o

-Makki's boyfriend

-very obsessed with sharks

-people automatically assume he's nice because he's quiet and introverted when in reality he's just talking shit about everyone behind their backs

-has an anonymous social media account with photos of every single new job listing in their town. there's over 100 posts. he only made the account a month ago. (everyone who follows it thinks he's making these job listings up. he's not)

-brings his camera with him everywhere (if you do something dumb, trust he's recorded it, he can and will post it online)

-has been trying to convince the rest of toothache for the past year that they absolutely must film their own ghost hunting show, says it'll be good “marketing” for their band (he just wants to go ghost hunting)

toothache lore:

-the band all lives in the same apartment building

-they were the first 6 people who moved into the apartment before the landlord was forced to take all the listings down by the council because it did not pass ANY safety guidelines

me: *drawing something* huh, I wonder why it feels like this drawing is taking longer than normal

me: *looks at the time elapsed*

me: *reads 16 hours*

me: 👁️👄👁️ *looks up from iPad with eyes burning and no clue of the date or time* ....oh, well that certainly explains it

okay let me pitch you a BATSHIT AU idea that i cant stop thinking about

sometime in middle school, Hinata finds a genie lamp that contains a Daichi-genie. Unsure what else he could possibly want, Hinata wishes for "a real team to play with, good enough to go to nationals' or something to the effect. Anyway, rule number one about genie magic is that you cant change the hearts of people around you, cant make anyone fall in love, etc. So Daichi cant just make a team. But. he is bound by his lamp to Hinata's whims, so he has to make this "wish" come true in some kind of tricky genie way. so now Daichi's stuck as captain of this fucking volleyball team trying to whip it into shape to make this wish come true because if he cant his lamp is gonna eat him for not obeying and while thats going on he's also trying to sway hinata into using one of his two remaining wishes to grant him freedom but its also against the rules to outright ask for that, and Hinata is so oblivious to everything thats not volleyball and cant decide on how to use his last two wishes and the entire B storyline is Daichi just trying to pretend to be a normal human but due to the circumstances of the wish giving him unprecedented freedom of body also getting a taste for what being a normal human is like and totally not falling in love with the cute human boy he recruited to this volleyball team and tonally speaking it would be mostly about the relationship of an idiot boy and his very tired magical genie dad.

he's actually phillipino! (I only realised after I gave him that outfit that it would come across as him being Brazilian lmao😭😭 I just saw the outfit on Pinterest a lot and thought it would fit him)

not really roommates, I meant more that the whole band lives within the same block of apartments :D Finn does have a roommate tho!! his childhood best friend Cory (who's also in the band and I haven't made a character sheet for yet lol) (fun fact Cory was the first oc I made from the band :D the band wasn't even a concept when I first drew her)

yes!! the cat on his skateboard is his and Cory's cat!! he's a fat orange tabby cat named muffin

YES HE IS A MENACE but only his band knows the true extent of his shenanigans because the rest of the town is under the impression that he's a "nice quiet boy" so like an ✨undercover menace✨ (but like a nerd menace where almost all his shenanigans revolve around sharks or ghosts,, or all the blackmail he manages to film with his camera)

omg I love those glasses yes yes CANON IMMEDIATELY THE BAD LUCK GLASSES R PEAK (lmao imagine toothache keeps trying to throw them out but somehow they keep magically reappearing) (they throw them in a dumpster they find on the furthest corner of town and the next day Finn walks into their band practice wearing them and they're like "WHERE TF DID YOU GET THOSE" yelling at him to put them down like when a pet cat walks in the house with a mouse in its teeth)

ok ok so Finn and Cory (childhood best friends) live together, and then Tsuki and Mei (they're gf's) live together as well, Tsuki and Mei are crazy cat ladies who adopt any and every stray cat they come across (it's gotten serious, they have a cat patio) (so far they have a tuxedo cat, a black cat, and a tabby Mainecoon)

oh yeah he 100% believes in ghosts, he's convinced that there are so many abandoned buildings in their town because they're all being haunted by ghosts when in reality they're just abandoned because the council ✨doesn't have enough money to fix them✨, also he totally blames every minor inconvenience on ghosts even if it makes zero logical sense for ghosts to be involved

*toothache realising it's abruptly started to pour rain just as they were heading outside to shoot some band promo pics*

Finn: "you know what I sense...ghos-"

Toothache: "Finn, no"

other than the roommate pairs they all met after moving into the apartment and bonded over ✨how shitty all the appliances were✨ (they swear there's a water pipe broken or a new gas leak at least once a week) (I'm not even sure how they all haven't died yet but here they are?) (they get through each week with a roll of duck tape and pure will power alone)

they mostly play early 2000's style pop punk music :D

yes they write their own music!! most of the songwriting is done by (two members I haven't drawn yet lmao sorry) Tsuki and Dawn!

*Finn, abruptly standing up in the middle of a town council meeting*

"I REQUEST AN AQUARIUM WITH A LEMON SHARK TANK"

"...Finn, as we've told you the last 5 meetings, we do not have the budget for an aquarium"

Finn: *storms out of the town hall dramatically (like he does every month), huffing and slamming the door shut*

"...well onto the issues with horse stable security"

*Makki is waiting for him outside and has been snooping on the meeting through the window, laughing his ass off (Makki would totally sit in on the meeting with Finn but he got banned from the town hall)*
