Tw brief mentions of sexual assault.
It makes me mad that Skip Westcott isn't in the movies. Male victims have almost no representation, and the ones we do have are just jokes or not even recognized as assault. He doesn't infantalize victims, he shows it can happen to you and still be normal, which would have been amazing. It's definitely something a lot of kids out there need, especially young boys who are completely left out of the conversation.
James Potter the type of guy to use chatGPT to write a 500 word essay.
Peter Parker totally has hyper mobility after the spider bite since spiders don't really have like, bones? So he'll just randomly fall to the floor.
Peter: *faceplants* I'm okay!
Tony: TF was that??
Peter: Slippery bones, help me up.
“what’s your writing process” i put a pathetic guy in a blender and blend blend blend
Hello. How are you ? I'm marriane what's your name and where are you from ?
Hi, I'm alright, I'm from America, and my name's Luke. 👍
Snape literally sexually assaulted him, and it even classified as sexual torture, look up the definition for that one. Bullied him, and literally for no reason, which is stated.
He even basically tried to murder him, he could've easily killed him with the prank.
But sure, James is no abuser at ALL! He's the most innocent guy out there, perfect.
Every time someone calls james Potter an 'abuser' to Snape I lose more faith in humanity
I hate it when people say "Ao3 doesn't need an algorithm, you're just lazy!" Because, like, yeah? I'm lazy because it's a HOBBY. And I'm not saying a built in algorithm, but an on and off option would be nice! Either way, if you're going to judge me for saying that, than for the love of all that is good, stop judging me for reading on different sites that have some sort of algorithm.
Sirius/Severus - Romance is Boring by Los Compesinos!
Remus/Severus - Space Song by Beach House
James/Severus - Crybaby by Destroy Boys
Lily/Severus - First Love/Late Spring by Mitski
Regulus/Severus - Creep by Radiohead.
Severus - Let Down by Radiohead.
Severitus where Harry is deeply hurt/affected by Severus' strict/old-fashioned/etc parenting styles.
Severus is always portrayed as strict, sometimes bordering on straight up abusive, but then because he's better than the Dursleys, readers and authors alike tend to agree that it's okay. (IF THAT'S WHAT YOU LIKE, THAT'S FINE SO LONG AS THERE'S A DISCLAIMER.)
But arguably, most often, his tactics are rather harsh. Maybe he's firm on the whole open door policies, or washing mouths out with soap, I've seen a lot with spanking as well, but there's never any after effect, so make there be one.
Oh, he washed his mouth out with soap? Now he's scared to talk.
Spanked? He doesn't see the difference, frankly I don't either, though, so I don't have much to offer here.
No door policy? He feels watched.
Whatever you decide, there should be a point of realization that this is harmful. However that decided though differs.
Make Harry write an essay about Scary Things, and instead of writing about something normal, he writes about how he's terrified of messing up.
Maybe Severus discovers a diary.
Or, and something that I find worked with their personalities, is a massive fight. Harry messed up, and now Severus is threatening whatever, and Harry loses it. "I want to go back to the Dursleys, because at least I know they're cruel, with you it's a mix up."
It's so angsty, om nom nom nom.
Everyone always talks about imagining scenes and not being able to write them, but have you ever had the opposite happen? Cause it's literally me 24/7.
I'll be in the mood to write, having a general idea of what I want, and I can't stop writing, but I also can't keep thinking of things. The last time this happened, I didn't stop for 2 whole days, didn't sleep. Wrote while writing, wrote while crying, literally all day, but I just kept rewriting cause I physically couldn't think of other scenes.
I don't ship Harrymort or tomarry, I just don't really like proships, but if that's your tea, go for it.
What I would like to see more of though is Voldemort realizing Harry's a horcrux so he's just like "Guess I'm a dad now??" And just like, adopts him?
Bonus points if it's around the age of six or seven
SUPER bonus points if there's hurt/comfort w/ happy ending.
Super duper bonus points if Voldy loses his mind against the Dursleys.
Idk what I'm doing. MCU, Harry Potter, wtv else I want? 1# most basic man to have ever existed.
