Perhaps Making My Whole Personality About Two Cartoon Ten Years Old Boys Was A Mistake

so i was thinking more about nobody understanding kenny’s role in creek relationship (he’s dating them both lmao) and i thought about kyle being really concerned about kenny’s moral values. so one day he gets pretty sick of all those rumors and decides to find out the truth directly from kenny (because he has this awfully strong sense of justice).

kyle: Hey, Kenny, may I talk to you for a second? Over there.

kenny: (Sure, dude, what’s the problem?)

kyle: I… I don’t know if you knew about this, but… um…

kenny: (But what?)

kyle: Oh, God, it’s difficult to explain… Listen, I don’t believe a single word Cartman told me about this, because he’s a fat perverted asshole who fantasises about other people’s personal lives all the time, but… I know that it may sound ridiculous, but there were some rumors…

kenny: (What kind of rumors?)

kyle: Well, you know… That you might be… *whispers* going out with Tweek.

kenny: (Oh.)

kyle: I told Cartman that you wouldn’t do something that immoral and that you don’t go out with people who already are in a relationship, but he keeps saying…–

kenny: (That’s true.)

kyle: …that nonsense about… Wait, what?

kenny: (What?)

kyle: What did you just say?

kenny: (That it’s true. I’m fucking Tweek.)

kyle: …Dude! What the fuck?

kenny: (What’s the problem?)

kyle: What’s the problem? He has a boyfriend, Kenny! How could you do that to Craig?

craig, suddenly showing up right behind kyle: How could he do to me what?

kyle, scared: Nothing! Nothing, we were just… talking about our last game night when Kenny killed you online.

craig, raising an eyebrow: Is everything alright?

kenny: (I’m sleeping with your boyfriend.)

kyle, terrified: Kenny!

craig: What?

kenny: (I’m sleeping with your boyfriend, dude.)

craig, completely emotionless: Oh. Me too. Cool. Hope you like it. Okay, see you later. *walks away calmly*

kyle: What???

kenny: (I know. Gays sure are weirdos, aren’t they?)

kyle, speechless: …

kenny: (Well, nice talking to you, Kyle! I’ll see you at the next game night.)

ok first of all IM NOT HIDING 😭😭 i genuinely love them and well okay some headcanons!!

• after breaking up with cartman, heidi had a lot of (and i mean it) anger issues and hatred bottled up inside of her that she had no idea how to deal with. after she couldn’t just fight with eric like she used to did, she kept all those negative emotions inside, occasionally bursting with anger and starting to shout at everyone around her and becoming quite insufferable. wendy couldn’t tolerate this behaviour among girls – not to mention they already hated heidi enough to avoid her most of the time – so she suggested heidi to start boxing with her. at first heidi thought that was a stupid idea and wendy was just messing with her, but eventually she agreed and started taking boxing lessons with wendy. the classes were not really popular, so the only people heidi actually knew there were heidi and tweek. all three of them started doing this to let out their inner anger with the least possible harm caused.

• heidi and wendy got pretty close because of this, they started spending more and more time together. they were pretty similar deep inside and although heidi still couldn’t become the same pure and kind girl she used to be, wendy did see that they had a lot of in common – they were both pretty concerned about justice, for example – wendy mostly cared about social inequality, while heidi, who was an eco activist, tried to protect the planet, ecology and animals. hehehe they made a really powerful duo!!

• wendy was the one who heidi shared her doubts about her sexual orientation with, because she knew wendy would support her. and wendy did. she did support her, but ever since then she couldn’t get rid of this intrusive little thought in her head, a vague hope. “she likes girls. does it include me?”. and she was terrified of this because before heidi she never even considered being something other than straight. so yep she went through a whole orientation crisis before finally admitting she could be in love with heidi <3

• also a very weird friendship group i can’t stop thinking about is wendy+heidi+kyle+tweek because i feel they would get along so well i neeeeed their interactions

honestly i think kyle always had a crush on cartman

in s17e1 “let go, let gov” it was confirmed that cartman usually talks on his speakerphone and now i truly believe that’s how he and kyle revealed their relationship to other guys. because one day cartman (as usual) put the conversation on speakerphone when kyle called him without giving it a second thought and kyle casually said “Hello, honey” while stan and kenny were standing next to cartman. and then there was this moment of silence.

so yes i have a kyman university au which i am writing now where they enter the same uni (they didn’t know it until it was too late) and start fighting ‘cause ppl actually like cartman because they dont know about all those terrible things he’s done.

i feel like even professors would dislike kyle for how he acts around cartman.

cartman: So moral values, on the other hand, although are not mandatory to follow, are extremely significant in people’s lives. They are the reason why people understand the importance of equality, honesty and self control. And even though they are not written in any legal documents or Constitution, people who don’t live by their standards or whose values differ from the rest of society are eventually called deviants and threaten the law system. Basically, summing up what I have just said, life without moral values would be a complete disaster and would cause chaos and disorder.

professor: Very well, Eri–

kyle, rolling his eyes and snorting: Oh, please.

professor: Is there a problem, mister Broflovski?

kyle: I’m sorry, but– As if he knows anything about moral values.

professor: And what do you mean by that unexpected accusation?

cartman: I apologise, Professor, me and Kyle were… acquainted before. I believe he’s talking about those times.

kyle: Yes, I am! You shouldn’t even be allowed to study Law in the first place!

cartman: Wow, Kyle. Rude.

professor: Young man, everyone is allowed to study law, no matter what things they’ve done in the past.

kyle: But you don’t understand, he’s…

professor: And I don’t want to judge my students by their past. Right now I see in Eric Cartman a good, responsible, hard-working and smart man, and you… well, you’ve already spoiled my impression.

kyle, shocked: What– But– It’s–

cartman: Can I now continue my answer, Professor?

professor: Sure, Eric, go on. And you *(refers to kyle)* – please, refrain from unasked comments in my classes.

mannn stutters is my second otp and i have so many thoughts on them!

first of all, this whole ship is about contrasts. the popular kid x weird kid, the generally normal x the fucked up, the one who tries to be straight so badly x the one who is obviously fruity, and so on, so on…

and i’ll write a whole post abt them and their dynamic a bit later, so for now here are some little headcanons

• stan is always the one to invite butters to hang out with their friends’ group. he’ll never admit it to kyle or cartman but he genuinely likes having butters around, and he’s the only one who feels that butters is an essential part of their group. while others may forget him all the time, stan is the only one to constantly keep butters in mind all the time, especially when they grow older.

• stan actually sees butters as the “light spot” in his life. he knows that butters is messed up and has a lot of mental issues, but the way butters is always so naïve and, well, not spoiled yet just makes stan, who is pretty cynical, want to care for him more. (remember the pandemic specials where they went to make a stuffed toy or smth? stan was self-projecting, of course, but i do believe he still cared about butters while doing all this)

• stan feels that butters is the only one who could relate to his sexuality crisis, somehow. he wouldn’t make fun of him or act aggressive, he’d just simply accepted the fact that, well, stan might be bi, and he wouldn’t make a big deal about it.

• they share the same taste in media. they listen to similar groups, they watch the same shows, and they both have this eternal love for music. sometimes they play their guitars together, and butters is the first one to be allowed to hear stan’s own music when they are teens.

• stan mostly doesn’t have any respect for his father, while butters is terrified of his, so stan helps butters with actually standing up for himself in front of his parents. sometimes (as teens) they can run away from their parents, the farm, the punishments and all their friends for a day, and just sit calmly next to each other and enjoy a free day

They're arguing for the millionth time over something except this time it's actually hurtful - whoopsies

when kyle was 16, his parents (mostly dad) decided that he had to understand how money are earned by hard and honest work, so they cut off his pocket money and gave him an advice to finally find a part-time job. kyle didn’t mind it much, so after a week or two of choosing the right option he decided to stick to something as peaceful and less stressful as possible, so he chose to get a job at the local library as an assistant. he already had experience in working with literature and students books – he was tutoring his classmates for a year by that time, plus the librarian was his mother’s friend so he didn’t expect any difficulties to get into his way.

until cartman learned about kyle’s new work and decided it was his moral duty to go into the library that he has never visited before and pester kyle every goddamn day. because kyle couldn’t do anything to stop this since he wasn’t allowed to start conflicts as a worker there. it also was prohibited to shout at the library so most of the time he was cursing and threatening cartman in a whisper. neither was he allowed to kick him out because the librarian truly believed that every child has the right to be in this sacred temple of knowledge.

and it was terrible.

every day kyle was expecting another trick from cartman – either it was total reorganising of the books on shelves from alphabetical order to matching colours, or a request to find a very rare book that only was in the library in one copy somewhere in the farthest corner of the room at the highest shelf – only to realise cartman absolutely knows this book has been missing for, like, three years by now.

kyle: Can you please stop bothering me?! You don’t even read books!

cartman: Sure I do! But paper books are sooo last century, I’m into e-books now.

kyle: THEN WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THE LIBRARY EVERY DAY, YOU SADISTIC ASSHOLE?

cartman: Making your life even more miserable and complicated than it already is?…

kyle: Why am I even surprised? I should’ve really guessed.

AND THEN one day kyle sees cartman in the library and mentally prepares for another portion of mocking, but surprisingly for him, cartman doesn’t even look at him, says simple and brief “hi” and goes straight to the reading hall, grabbing one of the books on the shelf. kyle can’t help but feel curious, because he’s never seen cartman so concentrated and serious – at least not the last few weeks. he sneaks up to him from the back:

kyle: What, have you finally realised what you’re actually supposed to do at the library?

cartman, shivering a little: You’re not supposed to scare the shit out of your customers too, huh, Kahl?

kyle: What even is this book? Knowing your tastes, I won’t be surprised if it’s, like, fucking Mein Kampf or something like that.

cartman, rolling his eyes: It’s none of your fucking business. And I wouldn’t read Mein Kampf, who do you even think I am?

and then kyle grabs cartman’s book and with surprise sees that it’s one of his most favorite books (i’m not sure what exactly it is but my personal hc is that kyle is really into dystopias and stories with political controversial subtext…), and he really can’t help but start discussing it with cartman. after, like, a whole half an hour of kyle infodumping him with the history behind this book, he realises they actually have pretty similar taste, and cartman’s analysing skills are so great he really understands all of the hidden messages in books, and they, well…. eventually start hanging out in the library discussing books they’re reading rn. to the point where kyle almost forgets about his other duties at work ‘cause he gets really consumed by all these discussions with cartman.

and he tries to tell about this to stan and kenny but they both just laugh because these two nerds who have finally found a conversation partner are fucking hilarious.

+ bonus about their preferences: they both are really into morally grey and/or generally antagonistic characters. and although it’s totally predictable for cartman, he was really shocked when he realised kyle adores “bad” and “immoral” characters as well (we aaaaaall know why…)

also i think kyle is more of a “plot” person who really enjoys reading about how the world in the book works, meanwhile cartman mostly prefers digging into characters, relationships between them and their psychological traits and traumas, yk? and it really helps, because each of them often notice little details the other might’ve missed.
