Don't have much to say, I'm probably not gonna be active very much on Tumblr because people rarely see my stuff here. I'll keep posting but for the most part I will be on Cara.

I haven't written in a while but I think a writing group would be really fun, and speaking with other people might actually get me to finish anything I write :)

About NaNoWriMo 2024:

So, for anyone who hasn't heard of the recent controversy, here's a link.

With that out of the way:

I've asked around a bit and it seems like a lot of writers are still going to write during November, but not use the official site or do anything associated with the company. Which I think is what I'm going to do! NaNo 2023 was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I'm not letting a dumb company take that away from me.

So, I was wondering if any other writers my age (teen) who are participating would want to make a discord server or something like that? We'd probably just talk about the things we're writing, but we might also get off topic too. I just feel a little bit alone in this without a community, and I thought it would be cool to make a writing group!

I also wanna mention that, in honor of completely ditching the original company and site, there's no pressure to go for a particular word count or write in novel format. I'm making a visual novel, and I don't know what my word count goal will be yet but it's probably going to be under 50,000.

If people are interested please please please lmk (reblog, comment, or dm me), I've wanted to start a writing group for a while and I think this could be really fun!!

Couldn't figure how to rotate the picture without messing it up or cutting stuff out, but here's angel :D They're an artificially made shapeshifter, she also has a biological brother named Darren who was created the same way as her but raised as a human. Also all shifters have their base form, semi human (pictured here), and human form and through the right circumstances a shifter could get stuck in one of these forms, Darren was purposely trapped in his human form andwas adopted into a human family. He was not aware he was a shapeshifter until one told him he was. Angel is 26 years old and was created as part of the Proteus project which aimed to make genetically enhanced shifters, so in their shifter forms Angel has a tail and Darren has horns. Neither of these traits are shared with natural shifters and they also have enhanced hearing and agility.
