I haven't written in a while but I think a writing group would be really fun, and speaking with other people might actually get me to finish anything I write :)
About NaNoWriMo 2024:
So, for anyone who hasn't heard of the recent controversy, here's a link.
With that out of the way:
I've asked around a bit and it seems like a lot of writers are still going to write during November, but not use the official site or do anything associated with the company. Which I think is what I'm going to do! NaNo 2023 was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I'm not letting a dumb company take that away from me.
So, I was wondering if any other writers my age (teen) who are participating would want to make a discord server or something like that? We'd probably just talk about the things we're writing, but we might also get off topic too. I just feel a little bit alone in this without a community, and I thought it would be cool to make a writing group!
I also wanna mention that, in honor of completely ditching the original company and site, there's no pressure to go for a particular word count or write in novel format. I'm making a visual novel, and I don't know what my word count goal will be yet but it's probably going to be under 50,000.
If people are interested please please please lmk (reblog, comment, or dm me), I've wanted to start a writing group for a while and I think this could be really fun!!

I love how messy it looks and it takes less time because I don't have to get lines perfect at all :)

They're a florist, and give off the aura of someone who has given up, and they partially have in terms of clothing (see: pajama pants) they only dress properly for work and special occasions, otherwise they tend to just leave the house in the clothes they slept in :)

Trying to do a little more practice on things I struggle with, like poses and backgrounds (the skyline in this is courtesy of Ibis paint assets lol) and I think I did pretty well!

Not the best piece of art I've made but it's good enough for it's purpose.
Now, lore! Evori was trapped in a mirror by their sister Nyvara, where they stayed for a couple hundred years, in a coma-like state where they were only able to think, not move, see or speak and with no one to keep them company. That is why they haven't matured much.
And also why Evori had issues readjusting to life after being freed, everything and everyone is so different, and after being alone for so long they feel weird being around people so often and tend to isolate themselves.

The blue markings are makeup and temporary hair dye.
They are now the god of winter, instead of the transition, along with rebirth and androgyny as always.
For lore reasons they do not age very much and this design would be about 500-600 years before present I guess.
I honestly don't really know why I post here anymore, I guess I just don't want to disappoint anyone that likes my art, love y'all by the way!

Here's a new oc design, their name is EVORI, and they are a deity/lesser god associated with the transition from winter to spring, rebirth and androgyny, though that may change.
I decided to try a new art style for a change, and I really like it, but it's a huge pain lol
I really wanna do better poses in the future, all my characters look stiff and boring
Sorry I haven't really posted much recently, it's no ones fault but my own and I just can't be bothered much lol.

Don't have much to say, I'm probably not gonna be active very much on Tumblr because people rarely see my stuff here. I'll keep posting but for the most part I will be on Cara.

The colours of their sword are downright atrocious so I would suggest just ignoring them (they'll get changed later)
Val is actually a redesign of an old pc that I lost interest in because, frankly, they were a bit boring. I found them again when looking through an old notebook to find inspiration and, well I found it!
The reason they have four names is because of naming traditions I guess?
Valiño is their personal first name, Aemaris and Filrenn are the names of their parents, and Lorafir acts as the Surname/family name but I kinda wanna have it that Lorafir is their hometown? Still thinking about world building, so it might remain just a family name.

I may or may not post in the next few days, but if I'm being honest, nothing I've drawn in the last week looks good to me. Add on to the fact I'm suffering with the no inspiration type of art block.
So everything I draw looks terrible and I have no clue what to even draw but I REALLY want to draw.
