Question about Hetalia countries and their day-to day lives

Okay, so it’s canon that countries get recognized and harassed by paparazzis, but I wonder if someone is angry about the current political situation and they see their country walking down the street, do they complain to them about it?

Will they come up and be like, “this place is terrible! Wtf are you doing!?” And if that happens, what does the country do? Just stand there and wait for them to shut up, agree, or do they argue that they can’t control it.

Us Americans are required to do so.

Roderich, who usually prides himself on knowing who is on the local team and misses the biggest trade of the season

Gilbert who who finds out about the trade right before the deadline on social media and it’s all anyone seems to be talking about on his timeline

Alfred and Matthew, who have known Gilbert forever, feeling bad for him despite their excitement for Gilbert joining their team and taking him out one night once he’s settled in

Roderich, going out with Arthur to see a local band and hanging out by the bar while Arthur gets crushed in the pit

Alfred spotting Roderich and immediately running to find Arthur because he will get that man to say yes to a date if it’s the last god damn thing he does

Gilbert and Matthew getting separated in the crowd, so Gilbert slips off to the bar to get a drink and seeing Roderich for the first time and instantly falling for him before he even introduces himself

Roderich recognising the man standing next to him immediately and letting Gilbert buy him a drink without trying to be too obvious

Gilbert and Roderich spending the rest of the show together talking. Gilbert feeling like he has someone who actually listens and cares for the first time in a long time

Gilbert asking Roderich to go back to his hotel with him. They hook up and Roderich leaves in the middle of the night

Gilbert going to practice the next morning and finding Roderich taking to Matthew like he hung the stars and understanding what happened and who Roderich is which sets off a string of loathing and miscommunication

Gilbert taking a bad hit in the last regular season game and Roderich waiting outside the locker room until the team doctor decides Gilbert can change and go up to the players box

Gilbert walking out of the locker room fully expecting to be alone, only to be wrapped up in Roderich’s arms

Gilbert being forced to watch the playoffs from the players box because he’s too injured to play, and Roderich sitting with him for every game

Gilbert explaining the game to Roderich because he realises while he knows a lot about the players, he knows almost nothing about the nuances of hockey

Roderich and Gilbert genuinely enjoying each others presence and falling into a routine when the team doctors clear Gilbert for play in the semifinals, where they lose

Roderich’s heart sinking when he realises this is the end of Gilbert being on the team and they’re likely never going to see each other again so he leaves before Gilbert hurts him again

Gilbert making the decision to stay on the team and looking for Roderich, and finding him nowhere. Practically begging Arthur to tell him where he went

I think everyone should see this, whether you ship FrUk or not. It’s so true.

Personally, I really enjoy PruHun and all the little comic strips people make.

I feel like your FRUK is too wholesome I mean... they fight with each other all the time. I feel like realistically speaking their relationship wouldnt work out, let alone probably become abusive over time. I just don't understand how you could ignore all of that.

You must be new to the fandom so let me kindly break it down for you.

In a very dark time the world is in right now, we could use a little more love and something to lift our spirits. We all have our ways of coping, some of us have forms of escapism, and desires to escape. There is no real Utopia in this sick world.

In this case, my escape is FRUK. Sure, they fight. It's in canon and historically documented. But there had been times where they've been kind to one another, especially now a days, whether you're love FRUK or not, it's there. It can be said for any other ship really.

Yes, my FRUK is very watered down to what some may consider "too soft". And I personally like it that way, I have people that do too. I do things purely for my own enjoyment. Things have been this way for a very long time. My reason being is a bit personal, so I won't get into such matter.

You're gonna find content in this fandom that you won't like, you're gonna find some people you don't like. But there are bigger problems in this world going on right now that are of much greater importance.

So I ask you anon, and everyone else seeing this: what's something about Hetalia that you enjoy? What ships do you like? And does it make you happy?

Whatever you're going through now, know that things will get better. And I send my deepest condolences to you, we all love you.

I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! It's only a suggestion, but I really reccomend not bringing politics into anything.

Another Headcannon

Italy basically only talks with cuss words when around Romano, and pretty much cusses more than him. Unless Italy is around Germany, than he barely does it at all. But when he does, it’s so loud and out of pocket that it freaks everybody out, especially since they’re not used to it. Like, if Italy stubs his toe or smth he’ll yell “FUCK” at the top of his lungs and now everybody is looking at him like wtf as he pretends like nothing happened.
