Ugh it is, you know I live my lif elike this right now, I would like to be a teacher, but I dont wanna study, so I will finish my apprenticeship and then first of all go to Africa, after that I might work part time and start working on becoming a teacher. Or Ill just stay in Africa if I do like it there.
I'm kind of really not on board with spending the rest of my life in an office
like, the idea of waking up at 6 every day, working from 8 to 17 and then going home just to have dinner and go to bed, and occasionally taking a week off to take a vacation??? I hate it. That's not how I wanna live my life. It sound ask suffocating and I have no idea how I could ever be happy like that.
I dont even need to add something because all important stuff has been said already.
Men are held to such low standards in relationships and it’s infuriating; just today I heard from my co-workers that ones husband never drove to come see her when they were doing long distance, and the other’s hasn’t mowed once in their 30+ years of marriage.
Like we like fun at lesbians moving fast in relationships, but that’s because women are socialized much differently than men, and those traits lead to healthier relationships. Though gender roles are fucking wack in general, you can’t deny that women are raise to be more understanding, expressive, and caring in general. My girlfriend drives 2 hours to come see me every weekend, and my friends boyfriend can barely make the 40 minute trip to come see her.
When women are in relationships with each other, they are more likely to talk about feelings, and go farther for their partners. Women do this in hetero relationships too, but it’s rarely reciprocated if they’re with a cis male.
I read an incredible essay about how gay marriage is incredibly beneficial to straight partners, because straight relationships always have a basis in inequality, due to societal gender divisions. Gay relationships show what it’s like to have a relationship without a gender based power imbalance.
Ladies, if you wouldn’t put up with it from a best friend, don’t let a boyfriend get away with it. Cultivate a society where men in relationships have to at least have basic decency; not only through your partners, but also through how you raise your sons.
Not be confused with „Wider Vereinigung“ what literally means to be against a „Wiedervereinigung“

1 Germany + 1 Germany = 1 Germany
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. Sometimes I would imagine myself in other roles, but I would always go back to teacher.
Today, for 17 minutes, a small group of people gathered on my college campus in solidarity with the school walkouts occurring across the country. It was a simple affair – one girl said a few words, a priest said a prayer, and then we stood in silence for the remaining 4 minutes.
Those 17 minutes, they’ve hit me hard. I’ve never experienced gun violence, never known anyone involved in a school shooting. But one thought kept turning around in my head: I don’t want this responsibility. I don’t want “willingness to stand between a student and a gun” written in my job description. It shouldn’t have to be. I want to be a teacher because I want to see students’ eyes light up, NOT the other way around. Is that so much to ask?
I still want to teach. Nothing will change that. I know that school shootings don’t happen every day, that I will likely never have to witness one. I walked into a public school every day for 13 years and never felt unsafe. But, frankly, so did the kids at Parkland. At Sandy Hook. Every one of those schools.
I was lucky. I still am lucky. But it never should have been about luck. School safety should be a given.
Today, think about the students. But also think about the teachers. The administrators. The nurse. The janitor. The cafeteria workers. The librarian. Think about the adults in the building. Think about every person in your school that you took for granted. Do you want “willingness to stand between a student and a gun” written in their job description? Because that’s what it’s come down to.
Something needs to change.
