i’m just gonna leave this here as a reminder that “hitting bottom” doesn’t mean “staying on bottom for the rest of your life and dying as a piece of crap”
These need to be posted every few miles on the interstate. :)
I used to have nightmares like this as a child. I think it was the only reoccurring dream I ever had. :c
Studio Ghibli just announced its first ever TV series, and even more exciting it’s an adaptation of a book by Astrid Lindgren. “Sanzoku no Musume Ronja”, or “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter”, will be aired in Japan starting on August 31. It is a coproduction with 3DCG studio Polygon Pictures (known for animating some of Ghost in the Shell, among others), to be directed by Goro Miyazaki. More details are forthcoming.
The story is of a little girl named Ronja, the daughter of a colourful robber chieftain who lives in a castle high on a rock in a dark pine forest. She gets to know the creatures of the forest, meets another kid like herself, and questions her father’s life of robbery.
It will be interesting to see the new route Studio Ghibli takes now that it is making TV animes.

Can anyone rec me some wilderness romance? More hiking and surviving together, less small town. I loved the Simple Wild by KA Tucker and want more like it.
Yelhsa the lazy, hoarder of carne asada nacho fries and pillows.
I love it ❤
the thing about people who are like “i don’t like tolkien that much, fantasy should move on and be better” is that i AGREE that fantasy has all the wrong holdovers from lotr. but when you ask those people what contemporary fantasy they think is better, they’ll say shit like name of the wind or game of thrones, and i do not relate to that…..at all?? or even, like, brandon sanderson, whose books i REALLY like. but if you’re still naming mostly white straight male authors, what is it about tolkien you wanted to leave behind exactly???
Here’s the thing about being pro choice that people don’t get… You don’t have to morally agree with abortion to be pro choice. That’s why it’s not called pro abortion. It’s an understanding that you can’t make that choice for someone else and they have full control over that not you. It’s pro I’m not the boss of everyone else.
i am kind of sad ok
