one thing that drives me absolutely insane is that ive seen so many comments talking about how tvpjo!annabeth isnt their annabeth bc shes not tan and blonde but i dont see people complaining about literally anyone else!! there are SO FEW characters if at all that stay faithful to their book descriptions! luke isnt a blonde guy, percy doesnt have black hair and green eyes, grover doesnt have a rasta cap on, chirons horse end is black not white, echidna is NOTTT supposed to be a conventionally attractive older woman i could keep GOING.

at the end of the day these people are portraying these characters essences incredibly, and this tv series is by far one of the best adaptations ive ever seen of any popular book. to take that for granted and complain because of different hair and skin, especially singling out ONE twelve year old girl is so childish and frankly! disgusting.

My truest hope for PJO season 2 is that they put Grover in the full bridal saree and not a white gown. Aryan would look quite pretty, i think.

the way when jude confronts locke in TWK and locke easily confuses her with taryn, but when jude pretends to be taryn in QoN, Cardan IMMEDIATELY recognises her

its pretty clear which one of them loves his wife more

there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.

luke tells percy that they burn what they’ll miss most so that gods will know that what they’re saying is important so they’re really listen.

but sally burns ice cream. ice cream that she has no attachment to. it’s not even baby percy’s ice cream. it’s just random leftover ice cream that she grabbed from a pile of dirty dishes.

the ice cream could not be more unimportant to sally. in the grand scheme of things, the ice cream is nothing.

but poseidon comes to her anyway. he shows up immediately after probably the most lackluster offering sally could give. he shows up anyway.

just…there’s something about poseidon showing up for sally.

i need the writing room for the last olympian to bring back “hold fast. brave the storm.”

imagine the scene of percy sitting in poseidon’s throne to get his attention. he’s begging poseidon to leave the sea and go to the rest of the olympians to fight typhon. he’s saying everything he can to convince poseidon. he’s begging him to help his family then all of a sudden.

“hold fast, dad. brave the storm that was made to break us for we are unbreakable as long as we have each other.”

“…you really are your mother’s son.”

there would just be something so poetic about bringing that line around in the last olympian.

Something that I love about Jude and Cardan is they actually raise hell for each other. In other books, characters will often make these grand declarations of love and say things like 'i would burn the world for you' or destroy everything for you or whatever, but with Jurdan, they don't rlly say stuff like that to each other, they just do it. Like Cardan signing off a peace treaty allowing the undersea to attack the land and risk war to get Jude back, going against his morals and killing Madoc's guards when they were taking her, or Jude letting Snardan poison the land as long as possible because she was searching for a way to bring him back.

If Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter were to fight CHB would win. This is based solely on the fact that they actually know how to think outside the box.
