Rating pjo ships because I've seen a good amount of people doing it lately and it seems fun. But there's a twist!! I used the wackiest rating system imaginable because I'm insane. Have fun.

Percabeth: a hundred hearts out of five blue cookies.

Their dynamic is not only incredibly fun but also they complement each other very well. Honestly, when I first read the books, I didn't really want them to get together because I didn't want another "main guy gets main girl" situation, but they're honestly made for each other.

Jiper: five daggers out of ten great canyons

They were incredibly forced, but honestly not that bad of a ship. They were really cute but I dont have much to say about it.

Valgrace: fifty festus heads out of ten college aus

One of my favorite Jason ships ever. I love me some tragic gays.

Pipabeth: Two goddesses out of fifteen owls

I will ALWAYS support a good wlw ship. And Piper defo had a microcrush on Annabeth while they were on the Argo II. Plus the fanart of them is SO good.

Jercy/Person: twelve riptides out of ten horses

I like reading about it and it's quite fun to think about. Nothing much to say honestly.

Perachel: Ten prophecies out of nine pancakes drowned in syrup

They could have been cute. I dont really ship them though.

Annrachel(is that the name?): three prophecies out of five spiders

Korrasami vibes lmao. I think they're better off as friends but I will read a fanfic if I find an interesting one.

Solangelo: twenty-six skulls out of ten doctors notes

They were written for each other. As in Rick made sure that they were written for each other. I havent read tsats yet and im still on the first toa book so I don't have much on their dynamic. Still I like them and they visually look good together.

Valdangelo: ninety-four automatons out of six pomegranate seeds

They would have been unstoppable I tell you! Unstoppable!! Or maybe I'm biased. Either way they would have been an amazing couple together but Rick was too much of a coward to let them be (boy)friends. (Can you tell I'm biased?)

Jeyna: One bad father out of two older sisters.

UPDATE!!1!1!1 It has come to my attention that Reyna is canonically aroace with no romantic or sexual interest whatsoever so this ship is out of the window.

Jasico: 3/10

Personally I've never seen the hype for them. I like their dynamic a lot but not really in a shipping way. Sorry pjotumblr😔

Pernico: One bathe in the river styx out of thirteen hades figurines

The angst of Nico having a crush in Percy is a good concept to explore. Both in relationships with other characters and Nico's character development. But them being in a relationship together just irks me. It's not entirely problematic(at least i dont think it is? Correct me if im wrong), but still, the age gap makes me uncomfortable.

Ruegard: thirty-seven drakons out of one patrochilles parallel

Like I said, I love me some wlw ships. And while I've never really been a diehard fan of them, the fanart is amazing, so of course i ship them.

Frazel: 6/10

Rick try to make a girl and a boy stay friends challenge(impossible). But jokes aside, the 13-16 gap makes me annoyed. Three years isn't much but it matters in this situation. And it annoys me bacuse I want to like them. They have a cute dynamic but the maturity gap between them kinda gets in the way. That said, I would probably have liked them a lot better if they just stayed friends.

Valzhang: Nine eagles out of twenty hidden bunkers

Like I said before, I will consume almost every ship in a fandom. And if I find good fanfics of them, I will read it because I like exploring different characters' dynamics with each other. It's fun and I honestly think the pjo fandom should chill out a little. The amount of people who put others down for shipping something that isn't canon is way too much. Just let people enjoy their ships.

I think that's all? I didn't include Grover and Juniper because I honestly don't really have any opinions on them. They just exist and it's kinda like Rick just made them canon because he didn't want grover to feel left out. Let me know if there's other ships you'd want me to rate!

I fell like devil town has plenty of other verses that can be applied to pjo. And also other cavetown songs but, this one in specific, devil town, I just remembers me of pjo and HoO so much

(If people want to use this trope, go right ahead. I just want the fic links. 😁)

Drum Major x First Snare

For those who aren’t in band, or know nothing of band, or specifically Marching Band, I’ll clue you in.

The Drum Major is the highest elected student leader in the Marching Band, organizing everything the directors aren’t, from Bus forms, to making sure everyone has their shit, to keeping people on task in rehearsal, with their most commonly known task being conducting the band. Usually there are about two in a marching band, but there can be up to about four, maybe five, though I’ve never personally seen five in a band. This person is reliable, usually pretty organized to an extent, responsible, and all that other stuff.

The First Snare is the person who is the student leader of the drum line. This person keeps the tempo, with the drum line helping the band itself keeping time and not tearing up the sound. From what I can tell, drum players are either very chill, go with the flow, or completely in, nothing else matters but the band. There is no in between, but character stuff is pretty easy to change so, do what you want. 😆

(Anyone in marching band, tell me if I’m wrong about anything from drum line or drum major stuff. I appreciate constructive criticism, thanks!)

Now, hear me out. What got me thinking about this, is that to keep the tempo steady, the Drum Majors who are leading the band watch the First Snare’s feet and hands. Which is how the band keeps tempo so well, since the drum majors are in sync with what the drum line is doing. See where I’m going with this?? First Snare flirts with the Drum Major, or the other way around, and something happens, badda-bing badda-boom. ‘Parents’ of the band the rest of the year.

Also, both positions are usually occupied by seniors. Do with that what you will.

Examples of the Ships I Would Personally Use for This Trope

Destiel (Dean Winchester x Castiel / Supernatural)

> I would put Castiel as Drum Major, and Dean as First Snare, because I would like Sam as the supportive younger brother who also wants to join Marching Band/drum line when he gets to High School. (Also back problems Dean, so.) Also Gabe as one of the other section leaders makes me happy.

Percabeth (Percy Jackson x Anabeth Chase /PJO)

> I honestly think it would be fun to put Percy as the really chill Drum Major, and Annabeth as the no nonsense first snare, but do with that what you will.

Bagginshield (Bilbo Baggins x Thorin Oakenshield /The Hobbit)

Anyways, I’m not sure who I would put where, because on the one hand, no nonsense drum major Thorin who lightens up when he meets First Snare Bilbo who tells him off when he’s too stern with one of the freshmen. On the other hand, stern but kind drum major Bilbo who is way too easily flustered when it comes to first snare Thorin, and gets teased by his friends in the band. Either way, I’d absolutely love it.

Percy looked touched, warmth and surprise mingling in his sea green eyes, before he muttered sheepishly, "I was kind of referring to how long you'll stay at my place, 'cause Mom's asking if you're waiting till dinner-" "Oh my gods, Percy! You could have asked that better!" "What? I just asked how long you'll be staying!" "I thought you meant-forget it." "But, wait-" "Forget it." Since I am still kinda new, I guess I could also talk about ships that I have. Usually, if you have read this, then you kinda know my mostly take on ships, but I have yet to talk about ships I like. (Below cut)

Well for starters, let me start with legend of zelda. I am a pretty big Zellink fan, but only some of the links I ship them together. Like skyward sword for example. Other ships, like Sidon X Wild (link, I just call them wild bc it's easier and linked universe fandom has rubbed off on me) or Mipha x Wild. I am not the pickiest and typically prefer Mipha x Wild or Zellink, but I am pretty open to almost all of them.

Amphiba? Well I have a big list. Sprivy is adorable and cute. So is Yulivivia (idk if that's their ship name or not XD). I don't know what to make of Hop Pop x Grime and such... so... questioning I guess. Sashannarcy is really good and its usually my go too. But Marcanne is adorable. (What can I say? Tiny Dragon toons got me into it. Their art is amazing!!) And anyone with Andrias I try to avoid.

Avatar and Korra is next. I personally like Katara x Aang, (Kataang) is pretty dang good, but usally my go to is Korra x asami. Tho Bopel is pretty good. I, don't know many other ships. I thought Korra X Mako was... kinda bad. I really was not a fan of that ship. It was too fast and Idk why it happened. Felt... wrong in my mind.

Voltron is next and dear lord. I think this is one of the only fandom I don't really have any ships for. Klance is cute, but I don't see it happening in my eyes. (Please don't kill me Klance shippers) Lance X Allura, I don't really know what to make of it I guess... Shiro X Adam though is cute.

Glitch techs? I see no ships here, so Imma skip it. Mainly platonic ships, which I am all down for.

Dragon prince? Rayllum. Rayllum for the win. Though, I wouldn't mind if it was platonic or not, its still a nice duo. I really don't see many other ships... Callum and Claudia I... I don't really care terribly much about.

Rick Riordan verse now!! PJO/HOO/TOA: Obviously Percabeth and Solangelo are both AMAZING!! I love them both with a passion. Jiper is cute. Piper X Shel though is another amazing ship. Another ship I will stand behind until my death is Frazel. Its so underrated and so adorable. Luke and Thalia? Nah, Thalia slay girl. THe ship of Thalia and Reyna is cute tho. I... Haven't read trials of Apollo yet, so I don't know any ships other than Solangelo from there. TKC: Tbh, Zia and Carter is cute but so is Sadie X Walt (I personally call the ship Salt just to confuse everyone.) Tho it did get a little complex with Sadie, Walt and Anubis. But I still think it was cool. Tho, I don't really know any other ships I guess... Anyone got some you can introduce to me? MCATGOA (A tongue twister, I know. Imma just refer to it as MC, (Magnus chase)): Okay, but Halfborn and Mallory were... an interesting pair, but I have no objections. Same with Samirah and Amir, cute and I see nothing wrong with it. Magnus and Alex however I absolutely ADORE!! Its cute, amazing and fabulous ship. I stand behind it til my death.

Hermitcraft? No ships here. As far as I can tell. Same with Dream SMP. I know that there are ships there, not too big with those ships. Like Tubbo and Ranboo? Adorable. Would I protect it with my life? No. Do I enjoy it? Yes. Yes I do.

I could go on, but this post is already long enough. I don't want to bored you. Tho, if you wanted to ask about ships, I guess you could ask me.

So, I wanted to talk about how well this was played out. (I know, I’m not supposed to be posting often, but this is just to good to not talk about.

So first off, I love the style of the writing. The description really help you see it clearly in your mind. The charcters are also really well played out and the interactions between all of them are very nice. I also liked the interview part, where Annabeth and Percy truly show both their cleverness and confidence (well, more in Annabeths case. But that writing is really BOLD!)

And yes, I could go on and on. But its late and I need to turn in. Yes I may keep talking about this, but the style and just how its portrayed… This is probably one of the best fics I’ve read before.

Oh and I can’t forget about the embarrassment scenes and how the author had action and with these small scenes to make you relate to the character more than if they were just blandish.

She volunteered, of course. The floorboards of the wooden scaffolding creaked beneath her feet, and the autumn sun cast a harsh glare through the square and offered little warmth. Standing in front of the crowd, the look on her father’s face, helpless and accusatory, stuck out even among the sea of faces. Annabeth clenched her hands at her sides and tried to quell the guilt and disgust churning in the pit of her stomach.

None of the boys volunteered, but Annabeth recognized the name that was drawn: Luke. He walked up to the scaffolding stiffly, his pale eyes colder than normal, without acknowledging her even though they’d known each other since they were children at the Academy. Not that she cared. After all, no one was really friends with anyone else in District 2. In all likelihood, Annabeth would be the one stepping over his corpse if he somehow managed to last that long. She was here to win.

pissed off percy is a determined percy. because the second he saw his mom encased in gold and being held captive in the underworld. it was go time. he gained the upper hand on hades in under ten minutes. whooped ares's ass in under three. returned zeus's bolt and told him off like twenty minutes later. and then told kronos to stop being a coward and come find him. no one's fucking do it like our boy.
