a clay figurine based on the best, silliest VRChat avatar that brought me the most joy - Cackling Villager by @that-darn-hyena :) (although it's missing some details)

I rushed the painting a bit, so it's not smooth enough in some areas (like the armor collar - it's rugged from the paint not having enough time to dry and/or being applied too thick) BUT for my first time making a figurine, I'm pretty satisfied and it feels super nice to look at this guy nonetheless!

old studies back from when I tried to figure out how to render; mostly on Jinx, because everything started with that one Jinx sketchbook page I did back in 2023

back to January, when I finally made my very own 'Man of Progress' mug

it turns out I have just the perfect amount of strange stuff in my room for a photo shoot like this (jk, I have way more weird stuff (don't ask me about the laboratory scale))

it was already a year after I watched the show; I found the design hilarious right away, I think because of socrealism being a huge part of my country's contemporary history. it's something about it being very idealized, proud and majestic, but also an obvious propaganda. and Jayce overall just looks like a character from one of this kind of posters

the mug is store-bought, so I should rather say that I made a sticker or just painted over the original design and made it printable anyway, it was harder than it seems, but I feel like I learned more while working on this than I will at my uni (graphic design is my passion)

the 2023 coal incident

only in Poland you get 1 ton of coal delivered like it was a new refrigerator [it was a one-time occurrence, because there was no coal in the whole fucking country (according to dad, who got angry, then forgot he ordered it, didn't have the money, got super angry; the delivery guy couldn't unload this shit, they both got furious; I think I was about to take a shower and hilarious scenes (always) happen when I look out the window; I didn't have the money, but we found the money anyway, then I had to unload the fücking coal 3 times)]
