I don’t ever ask you where you’ve been. I don’t feel the need to know who you're with.

Your eyes are locked on the tv when the front door opens. Jungkook once again comes home two hours later than he is supposed to. At this point it would’ve been a surprise if he came on time.

Once he takes off his jacket and shoes, he walks over to the couch to give you a kiss on the forehead. “Hi, baby.” He plops down next to you and puts arm around you, pulling you closer. “Hey.” You simply respond, hesitating before laying your head on his shoulder.

I can’t even think straight but I can tell that you were just with her. But I'll still be a fool, I'm a fool for you.

You bite your lip when you smell her perfume on his shirt. He didn’t even bother to hide the mark on his neck too. You wanna cry and scream but you feel numb. This has happened numerous times that you don’t feel anything when he comes home like this. Your friends have told you plenty of times that you should just leave him, but you just keep coming back to him.

Jungkook was your first ever actual relationship. You have never loved someone like you loved him. He is all you know.

You thought you were pathetic for not being able to leave him. For still loving him when he clearly didn’t love you anymore. You didn’t understand where it went wrong. The first year of your relationship was perfect.

I don’t ever tell you how I really feel. ‘Cause I can’t find the words to say what I feel.

He made sure you smiled everyday, comforted you on the days you were sad, went on little dates as much as possible and took you to the best restaurants every weekend. He was you everything and you were his. He would always make you feel special.

A month or two after your first anniversary together, Jungkook started to change. Getting annoyed at everything and picking fights with you. After every fight he would just shrug it off and blame it on frustration he built up from work.

Of course Jungkook didn’t act completely cold towards you. He would still bring you flowers and hold you until you fall asleep. But you two started going on fewer dates and he would act very distant at times. After a while he would get home from work late and instead of being with you on weekend’s, he’d go out drinking with his friends, at least that’s what he told you, and get home the next day.

And nothing’s ever easy, that’s what they say. I know i’m not your only but I’ll still be a fool, ‘cause i’m a fool for you.

At first you didn’t think anything of it but one night he came home with very visible marks on his neck. You went crazy as he confessed that he cheated. You told him that you never wanted to see him and he needed to get the hell out of your apartment. But two days later you were quick to let him in, thinking his apology was genuine.

The same scenario happened a few times before you just stopped reacting. You knew you could never let go of Jungkook, even if you wanted to.

I know I’m not your only, but atleast i’m one. I heard a little love is better than none.

The signs were there.

Your relationship with your husband, Park Jimin, was slowly fading; slowly dwindling into nothingness. You don’t really recall exactly why you’ve been drifting apart or what caused the start of the drift. All you knew, was that one day, two months ago, your husband had come home with a changed, indifferent air around him. Within that long agonising month, you had tried everything to garner his attention. You suggested bike riding down the Han River liked you used to when you began dating, trying to rekindle some of the love and passion in your relationship. However, Jimin had refuted the offer, claiming he had a busy day at work and he was tired. When you suggested a date night, something relaxing like a movie and dinner, Jimin had rebuked that too, not wanting to leave home. But when you’d suggested staying in and watching a film, he’d turned that down too; heading straight to bed instead.

For two months you tried whatever you could. From planned days in so that he could rest if he was tired, all the way to suggesting fun and exciting things like trips to museums or the park like you used to when you were dating. But each and every single idea was turned down with some excuse or another. At some point you began wondering if you had done something to annoy him or said something that caused him to begin pulling away from you. But no matter how much you racked your brain, you couldn’t pinpoint any thing. He was just no longer interested in spending time with you.

You see that the margins are covered in doodles, little cartoons and make-believe stories etched onto every far corner of the page.

You open your mouth to introduce yourself, but the sound of your teacher’s voice has you facing the blackboard once more. You try not to think too hard about the new boy sitting beside you, gently humming to himself as he doodles butterflies in an open meadow.

At recess, you’re playing with a few friends, doing cartwheels and rolling around on the grass. You’re giggling with your friend, Chaeyoung, when you hear a ruckus happening not too far away.
