“there will always be a Hiccup and Astrid, always”
I <3 similarities between the books and the movies
Hiccup being left handed.
Hiccup's speech in the epilogue of THW was the first thing Hiccup said in the books.
I liked how Hiccup in the movies was like he was based off a different Hiccup from the books in each movie. Like in httyd 1 he was like Hiccup the first in the sense that he was the first person to befriend and nurse a dragon back to health in thousands of years. Then it httyd 2 he was like Hiccup the 2nd because he wanted to peacefully show Drago that dragons shouldn't be enslaved and it ended in a disaster. Then in httyd 3 he was like Hiccup the third because he has to come to terms with the fact that dragons and humans can't coexist so he had to let the dragons go.
Writing my English analytical essay in sparkly gel pen because they won't let me be creative.
Genuinely sick of the department of education because wtf
I've been writing persuasive texts since I was 8 and my current assignment is to write a persuasive essay convincing my teacher that the Simpson's is satire
Could you not tell?
Let me read a book. Let me write a story. I've written the same essay year after year and just changed the subject matter, but it's all still just the same thing with different filler words.
The country wants to trial 10 year olds as adults but we can't talk about that right now, we have more pressing matters like the use of funny silly haha in the Simpson's.
Okay I am very much a girl but when someone calls me handsome I swear I fold like a lawn chair.
I always thought along the lines of gravity falls or adventure time or something. Or that shitty httyd recap animation. That was awesome I think that style is perfect for it
i think they should animate a book accurate httyd show in a mix of the style of like nimona and voltron and avatar i just think any one of those would work so well
I feel kinda bad for Hiccup Horrendous Haddock II.
Imagine being a baby and having someone decide you're worthless before you can even prove to be something of importance. Being a baby on a cold mountainside just sitting in a basket in the snow with the fate of freezing to death, starving or being eaten by dragons.
And then when his dad finally does find him and take him back he's kind of outcasted from society cus he considers himself a dragon. He was raised to behave like a wild animal and speak Dragonese and then he was put in a society he'd never been apart of, a d kicked out and shamed the moment he entered it. And then not understanding what's going on or what he's meant to do because he's never been in that environment before.
And then having a brother so cruel that he tolled his father he was planning to kill him. Then his father murdered him for the sake of keeping the throne and only then did he realise he was an awful person because he killed his son even though his son was just trying to do the right thing.
I think Fishlegs parallels pretty well with Hiccup Horrendous Haddock II because Fishlegs was also kicked from his tribe and then when he finally came back he didn't understand that he wasn't welcome anymore. Not to mention he was raised by himself as an orphan, sent out to sea to drown as a literal infant, raised in an unaccepting, unbearable environment where he was mistreated so much he isolated himself in his hut for the first 10 years of his life.
Just started reading heroes of Olympus my favourite is Leo because he says booyah
