We will occasionally hear information about Malleus’ sole blood relative, his grandmother.
We learn she has impressed upon him that barging in somewhere uninvited is the height of rudeness, taught him that humans often fear them, told him tales of the Scalding Sands (“But we haven’t heard much about the country since things became peaceful here”), and more.
Malleus mentions receiving cufflinks, cards and rose seeds for his birthday, saying that he cannot help but admire her thoughtfulness.
Malleus says that Lilia and his grandmother are the only people who ruffle his hair in a certain way.
He says “having siblings seems rather complicated” after discussing their families with Trey and Cater, but follows with, “one should treat their family with respect.”
Malleus also says his childhood was so long ago that he can barely remember any of it now.
In an extremely rare reference to his parents, Malleus wonders if they, his grandmother and Lilia toiled in the hopes of giving their descendants a happy, peaceful life.
Sebek says that while his grandfather has shared many tales of heroics about the Draconia family and Lilia, they never spoke much about Malleus’ mother Maleanor, or about how Malleus’ parents died:
“I've read many books to gain a greater understanding of Briar Valley and our ruler…but hardly any of them touched upon such topics.”
In Book 7 we learn that Maleanor was the princess of the Land of Briar 400 years ago (before it became Briar Valley).
Maleanor was his grandmother, Maleficia’s, only child and a key figure in the country’s defense, as commander of the royal guard.
Lilia describes Maleanor as so powerful that the rest of them combined would not stand a chance against her:
“She's also unruly, quick to start fights, selfish, and irascible...not to mention incredibly spiteful. Lady Maleanor is Briarland's most menacing figure.”
Lilia says she'd complain about food, refusing to eat jerky when they were children until Raverne stewed it for her:
“And of course she fawned over Raverne all the while, making passive-aggressive remarks like, ‘You're the only one I can depend on.’ ...maybe that's where the difference between him and me lies. And here I was the one to actually bring the food.”

Summary:
“You know, speaking of honesty,” Hinata starts, slowly and carefully, as if to calm an incoming surge of waves. “You never told me why you didn’t tell me that you were going to sign with a professional team.”
Kageyama bites the bait. “You also never told me that you were going to Brazil.”
“Not everything’s a competition, Bakageyama. And stop trying to change the topic; we were talking about you,” Hinata instantly snaps back.
Kageyama believes it was and will never be easy once he steps into a whole different side of volleyball for the entire world to glue their eyes on him. It gets even difficult when all he could think of is Hinata, Hinata, Hinata.
Or, Five times Kageyama references Hinata in his interviews and the one time Hinata interviews him.

I (accidentally) rewatched Haikyuu first season, now I wanna draw them so much
The prince and his Physician. A role-reversal au based on a dream I had that I wanted to draw something for. More ramblings under the cut
In this au, there is a kingdom of men where the briar valley once stood. Silver, the heir to this kingdom, has been the only member of the royal family for centuries, the result of a curse that causes him to die before he's old enough to ascend to the throne and reincarnate days after his passing. Silver's immortality was once a symbols for the kingdom's permanence, but the repeated death of their monarch every two decades or so has left the citizens with perpetual, generational sorrow with seemingly no solution as no one besides Silver was alive when the curse was placed.
A few centuries after Silver was born and it was believed the last full-blooded fae in briar valley had either abandoned the land or died, a draconian fae child is found in the brambles. This fae, given the name Malleus, was brought to the kingdom at the request if the prince and raised as part of the royal court with the express purpose of becoming the royal physician/chemist. It is believed that Silver's curse, as everlasting as it seems, was placed on him by a fae with extreme magical prowess and if anyone has a chance of breaking it, it's another fae. The kingdom believes that Malleus will be able to break the death curse and allow Silver to become their immortal king.
However, Silver has other plans for his chemist. From an early age, Silver requested that Malleus use his talents to find a different kind of solution to his curse that he can never tell anyone. He wants Malleus to find a way to stop his reincarnations entirely and let him unburden his people with the monarchy. Whether to fulfill the request of the kingdom he calls home, or the prince that took him in is in Malleus' hands.
ms2 spoilers but the scene where oz tells akira about arthur's prophecy and says like "please do not let him turn into stone... he has not yet lived 20 years" or something along those lines. and like. wow. it's just so profound and 'desperate' coming from him.
'desperate' in a way like, considering the way oz has lived his life. he doesn't form bonds or relationships or fails to sustain these bonds; it was always others reaching out to him and not the other way around,,,, then arthur comes into his life and he started finding himself reaching out to take care of arthur and reaching out to others to ask for help on how to take care of arthur LIKE. YOU GUYS GET WHAT I MEANNNN
i just finished watching the newest mahoani ep and the end gave me Food For Thought. because arthur was so distressed about the fact that he has yet to repay oz's kindness to him back in the north, but oz is just glad to see him again, taller, older, and ALIVE. i think the arthur prophecy reveal in ms2 was definitely one of my favorite ms2 moments because you could clearly read into the desperation in oz's lines. his affection for arthur ran deeper than his blood and veins to the point that he was summoned as a central wizard instead of a northern wizard; that's how deep he cares for arthur, deep enough for his pure, full northern roots to get mixed with the central ideals
jesus in the hades art style
Mo Ran's "character development" was him learning the most important rule a man can learn in his life: sometimes in order to get milf hole you have to shut the hell up and go along with whatever nonsense they demand
Chu Wanning: you must practice proper dining manners if you want to eat me out
Mo Ran in his first life: what the fuck does that even mean
Mo Ran now: yes shizun of course. I will keep my elbows off the table while I spread your legs. Whatever you want
been watching my friend play hades
