I think everyone envied the beautiful couple that James and Lily were. They were the definition of love, the definition of romance. It was easy to see that they were meant for each other. And once they were together they would grow old together. Soulmates forever. There was no one else for them.

They were that couple that made everyone smile when they were together. The couple that proved to everyone that love existed.

i don't ship most of the atla characters individually but i do think it would be profoundly funny if post-sozin's comet every single member of the gaang had a crush on zuko and he was wildly oblivious to it

zuko is so reputation midnights and ttpd coded and sokka is so fearless and 1989 coded iykwim

they always argue about the music that's playing in the car when they're on road trips you just KNOW that sokka is that mainstream pop girlie and zuko prefers indie synth music BUT zuko also loves reputation cause it's literally him. like. it's just him.
