‼️Flash warning
Reblog to show your blog is a safe space, or don't, no bad vibes your way if you don't wanna reblog <3
What's your favorite flower, and why?
Oh this is kind of a difficult question. If I’m going purely based on looks then I’d say the black Dahlia, because I think it’s really pretty, but if we are bringing floriography into it then I’d say carnations because they mean fascination, distinction, and love and they look pretty!
I don’t think I have ever been this terrified. I don’t know what I’m going to do right now. I still genuinely can’t believe that he won. I have been holding back tears all day. I hope this can get better but honestly there isn’t much hope. I hope everyone will be safe and please just try to hang on.
Hello please reblog this if you’re okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
This is honestly kinda true, not always but it is a thing that my friends and I do.

Reblog this on the first of the month for good luck all month long!
My dad made my brother a turkey sandwich and he tossed a piece to Frankie and this is how it ended up…
So I am bored and midterms are happening right now for me so I have decided to distract myself by sharing some random Greek Mythology facts. These might have some NSFW facts so I’m putting the facts under the cut
Fact #1: the word that is translated as virgin (ex: the virgin goddess like Athena, Artemis, and Hestia) is actually more like the word maiden. Basically the “virgin” goddesses aren’t forced to be virgins, they just can’t/don’t want to marry. The best example I can think of to demonstrate this is the muses, since they have several children (like Orpheus) but they are considered “virgin” goddesses.
Fact 2: the underworld in Greek Mythology is also known as Hades, like the god that rules it. Hades is also not the god of death, that would be Thanatos, Hades is the god of the dead meaning he decides what happens to them after they die.
Fact 3: despite the fact that incest and rape was common among the gods it was actually majorly frowned upon in Ancient Greece. Mortals were held to different standards than the gods and there are several myths that show how the Ancient Greeks found incest/rape between mortals taboo and wrong.
Fact 4: the depiction of gods/goddesses would vary depending on the city-state that was depicting them. One of the best examples is Athena, in ancient Athens they typically focused more on her relation to wisdom and crafts but Sparta focused more on her role in battle strategy and warfare.
Fact 5: Hestia was actually very important to the Ancient Greeks but she is not very well known because she’s only in maybe three myths. She was believed to stay in Olympus so she was never really shown during myths which makes it difficult to find information on her.
Fact 6: the actual way that Cerberus is spelled is Kerberos but Kerberos is also a computer system so Cerberus became the more common way to say the name so that people wouldn’t get confused.
Fact 7: the most common myth about Medusa (the one where she was assaulted by Poseidon and was turned into a Gorgon by Athena) is actually a Roman myth, not a Greek Myth.
Fact 8: the Phoenix did exist in Greek Mythology but instead of being red and orange like fire it was believed to be purple, because it was associated with Phoenicia which was famous for a purple dye that was produced from conch shells.
Thanks for the tag! I have these weird dimples on the backs of my shoulders and I’ve had them since birth but I don’t know why I have them or what they really are.
