OMG
whumpee being kept as just a blood source~
it’s just so much more dehumanizing, getting tossed around and kept restrained and covered in bruises and bite marks all the time, always on the precipice of deleriousness from the constant blood loss. weak and angry and desperate but too drained of blood and energy to do anything but snarl and struggle weakly against the ropes that keeps their hands behind them
A feral whumpee that attacks anyone that comes near them- except for the whumper, as they’re the only person they’re scared of. People that try to help the whumpee are usually hurt by them, and are usually repelled by this behavior.
bring back tumblr ask culture let me. bother you with questions and statements
Whumpee held captive in a cell and unconscious from the infected wound on their side. Whumper coming in and apathetically pouring alcohol/antiseptic on it. Whumpee screaming themselves awake, their body writhing from the agonizing pain.
OR
Whumpee slouched against a wall with a hand pressed to their wound, blood seeping through their fingers. Caretaker coming over with a rag, a bottle of antiseptic, and gauze. Apologizing to Whumpee but that it needs to be done. As the wound is disinfected, Whumpee throws their head back against the wall with a hoarse shout, losing consciousness as a single tear falls from beneath their lashes.
I love over-protective caretakers in social settings:
Placing themselves in front of whumpee to block a stranger’s approach.
Assigning a trusted person to act as whumpee's bodyguard while caretaker is away.
Taking responsibility for tracking and administering medication because they're worry whumpee might miss a dose.
Pulling whumpee out of conversations that seem to ask too many personal questions.
Loss of consciousness
“Do I know you from somewhere?” The villain asked.
Something about the cashier looked so familiar.
The hero stared coldly at the villain as they scanned their milk. “You almost killed me last week, testing a homemade explosive. The cops were called.”
The villain perked up. “Ah, yes! Now hurry up. The butter’s melting.”
tw pet whump, abandonment, rejection
"Please!" Whumpee sobbed, clinging to their master's clothes desperately. "P-please, don't– don't leave me here, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
Whumper looked down at them with nothing but ice cold disdain, all that warmth and fondness Whumpee had gotten used to entirely gone. "Let go of my clothes," they ordered firmly, and Whumpee obeyed, because they were good, they could be good, they could follow orders.
"Please, forgive me, I– I've made mistakes, b-but I won't make one again, please. Please, just give me a chance."
"I've given you many," they said bluntly.
Please please please please I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry–
"Please don't leave me," they choked out. "Please. Please, I'll do anything, please–'
Whumper didn't wait for them to finish. They turned around and left, slamming the front door of the shelter shut behind them; trapping Whumpee inside with all the other abandoned pets and workers who seemed not to care for them at all.

i love characters angstily refusing to look at someone
when they’re ashamed or guilty or scared and they want to keep the peace for just a little longer. they know it’s going to go downhill soon so they’re holding onto the last little shred of calmness they have even if it’s fake
and then the character they’re worried about being mad gently grips their chin and says in a quiet voice “hey, can you look at me?” AAAAA then they hesitate. there’s no way that character isn’t mad at them, this is too good to be true. it just makes them refuse to look up more because they want this dream to last forever and ever
but after a few moments of holding back, they slowly look up, tears in their eyes, to see that the character truly isn’t upset with them. if anything, the character visibly relaxes when they finally make eye contact, confirming to the character that, maybe they’re not okay right now, but they will be eventually
bonus points if they’re injured somehow, esp on their face, and the person that’s holding them drags a finger near the wound in concern, examining it and making sure it’s not worse than it looks 😍😍😍
