pink diamond reference while i still battle adhd to work on the next chapter of SUR lol

for my headcanon why her mural looks completely different from the canon design is cuz Pink also shapeshifted into this form for her court to hide the fact that she's a runt/overcooked/defective (and possibly off color as well)

saw a couple theories pink diamond was actually originally meant to be a red diamond soooo yeah

To go with the last drawing I did (sorta based on the post-game/finale story that is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky when the heroes find out it was Darkrai behind the whole thing between Temporal Tower's collapse and the Time Gears etc.

but the PokeTale Ascendance version of it.

I was discussing with a friend in my server, and I decided for my take that it's basically during the final fight with Darkrai, after learning he was the one responsible sorta for turning Chara (and Volo) into a Pokemon and what had happened to hers and Volo's siblings: Dialga turning Primal and losing his sanity in the future timeline/just starting to in the past/current timeline, and Palkia going into stasis along with Giratina (hence why they couldn't help Dialga when he lost his ability to control Time due to the tower starting to break, or completely breaking even, in the Future Timeline)

THAT is the moment when Chara finally transforms into a Gyarados, when Darkrai was about to do the final blow and kill/finish off Volo. Chara jumps in the way of the blast in the nick of time, and starts to transforms just seconds of taking the attack meant for Volo and she starts to prepare a Hydro Pump  and pay back the pain and sadness Darkrai had caused to so many other pokemon

For anyone wondering why I decided Chara would be a Magikarp for my PMD au  is cuz magikarp is one of my most favorite pokemon(along with Gyarados) of all time, and Chara's my most favorite Undertale character (though Undyne and Sans are really high up there as well) but also cuz of the level 20 Motif with Magikarp  getting at its absolute strongest when it finally evolves, and Chara at LV20 in the Genocide route becoming 'strong' and capable of destroying a whole ass timeline p much with a single swing of her knife etc

and volo becoming togepi cuz thats his partner pokemon soo ye.

Also its volo who's Chara's partner pokemon since the PMD-verse is based on the games ver of PTA (and in that version of PTA it's volo who ends up basically being Chara's sibling sorta the same as Zero does in the anime version of my AU)

An AU based off of an RP between me and a friend of mine from my discord server discord.gg/pQf9ZsdF6E where the Creation Trio as babies (a time they all cant really fully control their powers and junk) accidentally create a portal into the Undertale Universe and meet Chara and basically Arceus finds Chara and adopts her after finding out about her shitty human parents and Chara ends up helping Arceus raise the babies and basically lives in the Pokemon Universe now

but yeah- I cant help but keep thinking that it's Chara singing this when her Magikarp finally hatches from its egg and maybe she also decides to raise it into her Gyarados because she becomes DETERMINED as fuck to prove people wrong about Magikarp

Also Dialga watching his sister in the background and being highkey offended/jealous he's not the one being cuddled by his sister

PD: Spinel...!  *Pink Diamond then proceeds to walk closer to Spinel and reaches her hand out to the extremely brokenhearted gem in front of her, but Spinel, full of fury and hatred at Pink, slaps her away, causing her to stumble backwards and trip on the stairs leading up to her palanquin and fall on her butt at the foot of the steps.* Spinel: Tell me Pink...was this everything you ever wanted...? PD: Huh? Spinel: I SAID. Was having your very own colony. No, your very own planet...really worth abandoning and betraying me...? Was it worth losing our friendship? *Spinel looked Pink square in the eye as she says this. Being extremely careful not to show the hurt in her voice. Pink Diamond stared back at Spinel wide-eyed in terror not knowing what to say. After a few moments, Pink swallowed.*

AU idea if Spinel found Pink Diamond on earth. Taking place either before the events of Steven Universe and before Steven is born during the Gem War. (Preferably while Pink is still playing the double life and trying to convince the Diamonds to stop colonizing Earth and just before she fakes her death and asks Pearl to 'shatter' her.) Or during the Steven Universe Movie. (AU where Steven isn't born and Pink doesnt sacrifice her physical form to birth him)

Might use the former idea as it somewhat makes it easier to think of how Spinel could learn about Pinks whereabouts. Maybe Spinel heard some sort of broadcast from the other Diamonds as they look for more gems to send to earth to fight the rebels and crystal gems and Spinel hears something about a 'Rose Quartz' as the leader of the rebels and how they've been causing Pink lots of trouble and Spinel puts it in her head thats why Pink hadn't come back for her and goes to Earth herself to 'help' but then maybe along the way she somehow hears Pink talking with Pearl to stage her death so she could be on Earth forever and Spinel puts two and two together that Pink never intended to come back for her and ends up cornering Pink...

((NOTE: Shattered Heart is however currently on hiatus, due to me being stuck in trying to figure out how Spinel could possibly get her hands on the Breaking Point but still being mostly in line with what happens in canon))
