if bakudeku becomes canon im going to fucking kill someone and that someone is horikoshi kouhei
I laughed reading this but its something that could totally happen to me.
What the actual fuck! Someone has stolen a lot of fanfiction and is selling them on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. They are using the author names Plush Books on both sites. I learned about it from this post on Twitter:
I have already contacted several people or asked others to contact authors I wouldn't be able to reach out to myself.
I would ask everyone to look through the list to look for their own fics, though a whole lot of people are already going through it and trying to contact authors. The more people report this to Amazon and Barnes and Noble, the sooner this will be taken down. And the authors who have had fics stolen from them have the most standing in reporting the issue.
Here are the links to the two platforms selling the books:
Barnes and Noble
And Amazon:

Octopuses can fit through any gap larger than their beak.
I don't wanna make it long but one thing I can share is, I've been treated differently and painfully after losing my only father. this woman has its own 3 kids from her husband.
i know there are lots of people are struggling rn but a $1 will come a long way for my needs. as I have to leave in my stepmother's house and start finding a job as soon as I can look for a shelter.
ive seen so many fundraiser here, so I just wanna try it as well. Will love and appreciate all those kind of help
I know to my heart, wherever my father is he would also love to see me leaving this kind of life. 💟
You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.
People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.
My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.
AO3 donators, it’s voting time. And one particular candidate not only doesn’t understand AO3 on a fundamental level (somehow, despite being a tenured user and an unfortunate volunteer) but actively wants to push censorship. They are the exact kind of person we don’t need involved with OTW or AO3 for that matter. The same kind of person we have to actively fight against like, all the time. I frankly don’t know how the hell they even became a volunteer but, anyway. Got vote for people who won’t actively work to destroy it.
Tons more info in the reddit thread here https://www.reddit.com/r/AO3/comments/wlxk3m/otw_board_election/
There’s already several posts around here on tumblr of people with the same worries, but not enough imo.
Don’t worry, we don’t have Elon Musk here…
But hipsters beware, you’re in for a scare!
This isn’t Twitter. This isn’t your average every day site. This is Tumblr. We’re crazy. We’re weird. We don’t fit in. We’re the fangirls, the fujoshis, the Superwholockers, and the Steven Universe Critical bloggers. We forgot what “normal” was. So if you’re expecting a normal website…
Blocking someone on AO3 means that they can't comment on your works or reply to your comments elsewhere on AO3.
Muting someone on AO3 means that you won't see their works posted in your search or tag results anymore.
