A thought I just had. Being with people does not have to be a performance. My sister and I, we do chores and errands together and that counts as hanging out, because we still get to enjoy each other's company. I love it when my friends call and we're talking while living our day to day lives, doing chores, or doing one of our hobbies. I love it when I'm at a person's house and we go to the mailbox together, or make dinner together, or wash dishes together between our 'adventures'. No one's immune to the flow of time and the necessity of the day-to-day, however grand a getaway may be. You don't have to impress me. If you're my friend, you've already won. And I hope other people feel that way about their friends too.

Something memey I ended up drawing with @toothpaste-dragon’s characters Tsek and Kolver! It kind of ended up being a mix-up of like, two different memes… like the draw the squad ones with the person praying, and then one that I can’t for the life of me find that shows one character flexing and the other one smiling and blushing/looking impressed. But anyways, the important thing to take away from here is that Kolver loves his beautiful crab wife!!! Also I actually have an alternate version of this where Kolver has a different expression, but for some reason that version just won’t upload here onto Tumblr, so I’ll share a link here to the DA post version if you want to check that one out! truly some people have no genre savviness whatsoever. A girl came back from the dead the other day and fresh out of the grave she laughed and laughed and lay down on the grass nearby to watch the sky, dirt still under her nails. I asked her if she’s sad about anything and she asked me why she should be. I asked her if she’s perhaps worried she’s a shadow of who she used to be and she said that if she is a shadow she is a joyous one, and anyway whoever she was she is her, now, and that’s enough. I inquired about revenge, about unfinished business, about what had filled her with the incessant need to claw her way out from beneath but she just said she’s here to live. I told her about ghosts, about zombies, tried to explain to her how her options lie between horror and tragedy but she just said if those are the stories meant for her then she’ll make another one. I said “isn’t it terribly lonely how in your triumph over death nobody was here to greet you?” and she just looked at me funny and said “what do you mean? The whole world was here, waiting”. Some people, I tell you.

I'm so glad that I've finally begun to get over my long time fear of sharing my characters to others! It feels so rewarding that I finally have gotten to the place where I can, because I had dreamed about getting to do so for so long. I've had a couple of people draw them lately and it just?? Makes me so happy that I want to explode??

An update of a very old (think 2012-2016 old 😳) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan character! I used to draw her so much back in the day. I still really like her. In fact, I didn't actually change her design very much at all from the original -- I wanted to preserve it.

Shamrock Star is a (mad) scientist earth pony who studies magical plants and makes potions/elixirs out of them! Her speciality is finding four leaf clovers and harnessing their innate magic.
