Also, I'll hopefully get another update out for my fics soon. My brain just decided it would no longer let me enjoy writing that, and I also kinda forgot what I was doing for them already as well, so yeah, but hopefully I'll get them out soon if not then oof on my part.
Redesigned one of my OCs because she was getting to "family friendly" looking in my eyes. I've been going on a redesigning trip with all my OCs because they just don't feel like they're mine anymore and like they belong to someone else, which is my fault entirely. I got caught up in making them to how I thought someone else would like them, but since I've been stuck in my art block for a while I realized that I just don't care anymore what people want of my art or my ocs if they like it cool if they don't cool all that matters really is I'm happy with them again and enjoy using and working with them like I used to.

It's funny, because Buggy tried so hard to betray Luffy so many times. It's like the universe itself wouldn't let him not help after Luffy gave him the treasure marker.
Mihawk will make it explicit during the Marineford arc that Luffy's greatest strength isn't his physical prowess, but his ability to make allies. It's interesting to contrast the way in which Luffy wins people over compared to other thematic foils like Blackbeard, who gains equally enormous influence through violence and coercion. Luffy's guileless faith in characters like Buggy (which later shows up in his alliance with Law) is on its surface stupid in the cutthroat world of pirates, but it's because not despite Luffy is who he is that he influences others to his cause.
Cynical characters like Buggy and Mr. 3 will try (and fail) to take advantage of him, but by mere proximity Luffy will in turn inspire them to grow beyond their base instincts, and he's rewarded by the narrative for his trouble. Mr. 2 comes back to save him after being terrified of Magellan. Mr. 3 unlocks the keys to Ace's cuffs. Buggy saves his ass repeatedly through the saga. It's like Luffy is a gravity well that people can't help but fall into, and it's that charisma and ability to almost instantly create bonds with other people that will cause him to eventually become the Pirate King.

One of my theories is that Buggy and Luffy’s devil fruits are like “Ying and Yang”.
I know Luffy’s devil fruit is godly, but what if Buggy’s devil fruit was also like that but hasn’t awakened yet?
Think about it!
Buggy can resist cuts, but luffy can’t.
Luffy can resist impacts and blows, but Buggy can’t.
Both of their fruits depends on the users imagination and what they can do with it.
And not only that but how Buggy and Luffy’s personalities differ but still face one another and can work together if need be!
This might be my excuse to want Buggy’s devil fruit to be more than what it might actually be, but I really want that when his Devil fruit awakens that it would be also similar to Luffy’s, like having control on everything and everyone around him. And be god-like!
