Henry Emily, 35, was born on the outskirts of Hurricane, Utah, to a working-class family. The youngest of two, Henry became interested in mechanics while working at his father's shop. Henry eventually got into Brown University, majoring in mechanical engineering, and meeting his best friend William Afton. Eventually, he met Helena Emily, maiden name Helena Stillwater, and the two dated for several years before making the decision to get married. They gave birth to twins, Charlotte and Samuel Emily, in 1978. Although many people in Hurricane find Henry strange and difficult to get along with, as he is not religious, not at all concerned with traditional gender roles, and is quite socially awkward, Henry is a good person. He's a great father and a good husband; he's just a bit rough around the edges.
Henry has autism. Henry's father owned an antique shop and he gained an interest in mechanics while watching and helping his father fix up old clocks. His parents are dead. Eye color! (made by Purple)
Helena Emily, 35, was born to a working-class family in West Virginia. She didn't attend college, opting to work alongside her father and gain experience in construction work. Although Helena is consistently met with skepticism and misogyny in her field of work, she's stubborn as all hell. While doing construction work in Rhode Island she met Henry and the two began dating, although it took some time as Henry wasn't getting the obvious hints Helena was putting out. Helena and Cora became fast friends after meeting, although the two may not share much in common, they do enjoy one another's company. Helena is a protective mother and is known to have a temper. She isn't willing to hide her emotions for the sake of others' comfort.
William doesn't like Helena much. Good. I wanted Helena's hair to look like a lion's mane. Eye color! (made by Purple)
Samuel Emily (left), 4, is the youngest Emily child. He's not fierce or stubborn like his older sister and takes more after his dad. He gets picked on often, not only because he's timid and shy but also because he doesn't conform to his assigned gender at birth. But his family is there for him, at least, most of the time.
Charlotte Emily (right), 4, is the firstborn child of Helena and Henry Emily by about 10 or so minutes. Still, she easily fits into her role as the eldest sibling and seems to think it's her duty to protect her younger brother Sammy. She's a fierce little girl who has definitely inherited her mother's temper and stubborn nature (and her dads' autism).
Both Sammy and Charlie have unilateral cleft lips + palates. Charlie plays soccer. She kills at it. Eye colors! Charlie (left) and Sammy (right) (made by Purple)

You ever hear that old chestnut about how most people neglect the part of the story of Icarus where he also had to avoid flying too low, lest the spray of the sea soak his feathers and cause him to fall and drown? You ever think about how different the world would be if Icarus died that way instead? If the idiom was to Fly To Close To The Sea? A warning against playing it far too safe, about not stretching your wings and soaring properly? You ever think about how Icarus died because he was happy?
Headcanon that even though Toshinori is weak, he’s fast. That razor sharp gaze never slowed, his reflexes haven’t dulled with age or illness.
Everyone forgets this, of course. How could they not? He’s a different person nowadays, even though he really, actually isn’t. people know that he’s All Might, but they look at him and honestly see a completely unrelated person. He’s separate. He’s not the same.
So it’s only natural that sometimes they kind of, sorta, almost forget. Forget that he was the strongest hero of his time, that he could and did change the weather with only a swing of his powerful fist. That his mere existence kept crime and violence at a historical low, ushering in the longest era of peace since quirks dawned.
Oh sometimes though, sometimes, they’ll get a reminder. Bakugou will throw a pen at the back of his head in class when the man is turned around lecturing and Toshinori, without pausing for breath, without even a hitch in his perfect script, will snatch it out of the air and have it hurdling back even faster and so, so much harder before they know what happened. The class notices, and takes turns testing it on occasion. They forget the least of all, and Midoriya, he never does.
He’s sturdy, too. Toshinori may pay a higher tribute to a willow tree than his own youth nowadays, but he doesn’t get knocked on the ground. It’s something in his unbreakable stance, how he still holds himself like a 300 lb immovable object, like he forgets that his body has changed. The other teachers see this and realize that in his prime, All Might wasn’t always standing due to strength, but sheer insurmountable skill.
I like to think that rarely, during administrative meetings, Toshinori will begin speaking in his thundering voice like a leader again, slipping into that persona when he needs to be firm, and the other pros will go cold with the reminder. Subconsciously they will bend their opinions under that voice, instinctually following it like they did in times past.
Kind hearted, cold blooded Toshinori Yagi.
I can't help but think that in an alternate universe, if Martin Whitly had committed the murders when he was at university and had been caught, the news would probably have nicknamed him the angel of death, (like Robledo Puch, a famous Argentine serial killer, there is literally an interview where a lady believes that I could not have done anything so bad because according to her the boy has an angelic face) also michael sheen as a young man really seems quite angelic
I feel like I know who that person is, but there are quite an odd number of angels of deaths. Though that is more reserved for doctors who kill at work, so I don't... know if the Surgeon counts as one??? But if he had committed them when he was still in med school, that would make for an interesting situation!
I just want to say that I love this fanfic.
Can you write about Lumiere finding out that Plumette is preagnent?
He hasn’t seen her around for several hours—”no, you fool, it’s only been minutes,” says Cogsworth, but Lumiere knows he is wrong and it has actually been hours, because that’s what it feels like—and he is getting concerned.
“Is she hiding from me??” he asks Cogsworth. “Could I have done something to offend her????”
“It has been THREE MINUTES,” says Cogsworth.
“It has been days,” and Lumiere weeps, great messy tears spilling down his nose. Cogsworth would be concerned if he hadn’t also seen Lumiere dramatically crying over misplaced porcelain, a ball change that didn’t go as planned, and a puppet show Chip did once where it took more than two acts for the lovers to get together.
“Four minutes,” says Cogsworth.
“Perhaps I have not appeared devoted enough,” Lumiere worries. “Perhaps I am not good enough in bed!”
“THAT’S QUITE ENOUGH OF THAT—”
“Cogsworth, no, don’t go, let’s practice, perhaps I have grown weak with my seductions, you be Plumette and I’ll—”
“No no no no no no!” Cogsworth cannot run very fast, but he is somehow managing now.
“He’ll break a leg, going that quick,” observes Mrs. Potts.
“He may break every bone in his body,” says Lumiere, “and it will mean nothing if I do not reconcile with Plumette. I have not seen her in twenty five years—”
“IT HAS BEEN,” yells Cogsworth, from somewhere deep inside the castle, “A TOTAL OF FIVE MINUTES AND FOURTEEN SECONDS—”
“—and I shall die without her love to guide me.”
“You shall do what, mon trésor?”
“Plumette! Ah, Plumette, you are a vision.” And she is—flushed with excitement, her curls bouncing, feathers stuck in her hair as they are always, now. She keeps plucking them out, but they keep coming back in again. She doesn’t mind it, much, and Lumiere adores it.
“Mon amour, I have something I must tell you,” and she seems shy, and Lumiere worries he is going to set himself on fire with love of her. Mrs. Potts seems worried, too; she is reaching for a water bucket and glancing at the top of his head. He must be smoking again. Ah, well.
“What is it? Chérie, what is it?” Now Plumette is bouncing on her heels, and now she leans forward to whisper in his ears. He is going to be—she is whispering that he is going to be—Lumiere is going to be—
“ON FIRE,” yells Mrs. Potts, “he’s finally done it, he’s on fire. Why on earth did you have to tell him in here, Plumette?! My lord, saint’s alive, Chip, fetch another bucket. Oh, lord, I’ve soaked your best coat, and the wig, oh, Lumiere, whatever shall I do with you—”
Lumiere doesn’t care what Mrs. Potts shall do with him. He is dripping wet, and his Plumette is a miracle, and he’s soon to be a father, and comme c’est beau! He is the luckiest man in the world.
It’s Sleepover Saturday, folks! My inbox is open for all discussions on BATB.
Fiddleford is having the wildest summer of his life.
Wax figures coming to life, ghosts, clones, and gnomes are just a few of the things he’s seen in Gravity Falls.
But there’s a mystery way bigger than the town’s usual weirdness that’s been haunting Fiddleford’s mind.
What happened to his future self to end up as the town loon? Why did he end up living in Oregon? What happened to his family? And if he turns back into an adult… will he become the town loon again?
The questions won’t leave him alone—and sometimes, scattered fragments of his adult memories sneak into his mind.
Fiddleford wants answers. And he plans to find them.

so background. my fiancée and my mom have been calling each other “BFF” since we started dating over 5 years ago. like that was my mom’s contact name in Selena’s phone for half a decade.
anyway we just got engaged a few days ago, and now the two of them want to update their nicknames to reflect that. and. well. hold on i gotta gear up for this one
I like to think that at first he is trying to clear his name but as he starts to fall more and more in love with alec he just starts to consider the idea of being claire for the rest of his life, i also think that malcolm is the one who is looking for his father, while trying to prove his innocence (although malcom is saner in this au so he became a profiler because he wanted to be like his father, the problem is that the more he investigates, the more things are revealed about his father between they the papers that officially diagnose martin whitly with an antisocial personality disorder with narcissistic tendencies so malcolm is no longer so sure if his father is innocent) on the other hand alec and ellie discover who claire montgomery really is and must debate whether to turn him in the police or believe him to be innocent and help him clear his name (martin ends up revealing the whole truth to them, only for alec not to let him)
Anon, I'm really liking this au of yours, I'd love to read it if you plan to write it! :D
I am also loving the drama with Malcolm still, his doubts and worries over his father and if he really is a good man or not.
Can someone explain to me if the 60th anniversary special of Doctor Who I'm from Latin America is out and at least in my country the series never became famous enough to broadcast it until now and I don't understand English enough to watch the full special without subtitles and I don't want to enter the tumblr tags because I'm going to get spoilers
