Okay I have a legitimate request for advice/help???

So yesterday I had an idea for an animation for song that's like 2 minutes 20 seconds long

Anyone who animates knows that's a relatively long animation for an amateur artist

Anyway

Yesterday I like REALLY hyperfixated on this animation

This happens to me sometimes when I'm drawing

I have an idea and I HAVE to draw it, I can't draw anything else or take breaks other than quick stops for the bathroom or to eat something

And it's usually easily manageable because the drawings only take a few hours or something

But like

Okay this was pretty intense. I spent all of yesterday pretty much animating the whole thing

A lot of it is still very sketch-like

And I want to color it

And I'm struggling. The problem is that I really want to finish this animation enough to show people/enough that I'm satisfied. I just want to be done!

But like, I'm EXHAUSTED. I didn't get much sleep for hyperfixating on this, I am actually already sick, and I'm also having really bad period cramps.

It feels like the easy answer should be just take a break, right?

WRONG.

I CANNOT sleep, I CANNOT sit still, I CANNOT function I need to work on this. Trust me, if I could sleep or work on another project I WOULD. But like I can't even focus, all I do is think about how much work I need to do and what things to fix and -oh I need to draw another frame for this one scene,,,

I would really appreciate ANY advice, ANY recommendations, PLEASE send help I'm dying here

I drew some cats with 2 mouths

This is a bit of an older drawing, I made this a few months ago. It's Lavagirl!!! I watched Sharkboy and Lavagirl for the first time a few months ago and LOVED it.

There's only, like 40 fics for it on AO3, and I'd like to try writing a fanfic for it sometime, but that's another project for another day.

I decided to draw how I kind of imagine Arthur to look like

And I made a little rendition of my partner explaining the entire plot of Malevolent to me (my auditory processing issues make it hard for me to listen to podcasts)

I feel like Tom might try branching into wearing brighter colors as he gets more confident. But maybe I also just like seeing people in bright colors haha

I decided to try drawing a shoe! I decided to name it "her sickness." I was inspired by the 3d models of the shoes by @/petliger on IG. I really love the dark reds they've used, and I wanted to try and replicate that with kind of a goo-esque substance.

And below, I drew my oc, Roulaide, wearing an adjusted version of her sickness shoes. This version is just elongated to fit her better.

Sorry guys, it has been a MONTH

Been very anxious (because of STUFF), I finally cut my mom off lol, and went to the doctor

I cannot crochet for a while :C

I will get back to passing posting soon ehe

So I started experimenting with some jester ideas. Something that interests me and that I think is a really good way of making something new and interesting, yet still fitting is taking other jester designs and exaggerating them.

Like lengthening the shoe height. Instead of the bells being attached at the end of shoes that end mid-calf, instead they almost become a dress-style bell set.

And this inspired me to make a dress with bells at the end of it, but with more of a twist:

I thought inverted bells would be interesting, and it also interests me HOW a piece like this might be made.

Obviously these would be paired with other jester clothing pieces, but I just think it's very cool!

This is actually the original design of my porcelain jester, but I like this as well.

I was playing around with the idea of a robotic jester

what if Dipper had POTS? Like, exercising is so much more exhausting for him, but he doesn't even know it's not supposed to be that exhausting.

He's self-conscious about not being strong enough and not performing well in gym class, and the fact that he can't run around as much during summer, not realizing that he has POTS

I really wish I could stay hyperfixated on things for more than like, 2 days. Like I want to actively participate in the sharkboy and lavagirl fandom (I just watched the movie for the first time) but I STARTED RE-READING KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES AND I NEED TO MAKE 5 ANIMATIONS YESTERDAY (I've started, but I just found my hero academia AMVs and THESE ARE SO AWESOME)

Your werewolf s/o knowing you don’t eat meat so when they try to court you instead of dropping dead deers or boars at your feet, they bring you a bunch of veggies. Like entire potato plants or a bunch of cauliflowers seemingly fresh from a field. A wolf mouth full of turnips. They notice that it kind of works out, at least you eat some of it. Which encourages them to get a little more creative. The next thing you get is an entire branch from an apple tree. A few berry bushes left on your front porch. You’ve given up asking them whose farms they’ve been raiding cause all you get in response is a proud “I’ve hunted! For you!”
