man this one was the biggest yet, I had to cut some options due to some like the slitherwing, who wouldn't work with inexperienced trainers. (by that, I mean they'd die shortly after these guys hatched) they could still be introduced later, just not in the main lineup.

I fractured my dominant arm yesterday, and I am currently unable to write stories or do art, (barely able to type this with my left hand) so anything related to the nine realms modern times rewrite will probably only be put on here after a month or so. I can still make the polls tho until then

designed two of the poll hybrids
(apologies if none of you can read my handwriting, I can make another post with all the stats/info on it if that's the case) this is their adult form of the whispering death/gronckle hybrid and the scauldron/thunderdrum hybrid's designs. Hers is based off of a gulper eel, and she lost her eye due to accidentally bashing it hard on a rock when practicing swimming. Since the technology is more advanced in this era, to reference hiccup making a tail prosthetic, the male hybrid would have one of those wheelchairs for dogs who's back legs are paralysed.
my apologies to those who missed this, I thought I'd put it at the usual time but it wasn't. The results will be a scauldron thunderdrum hybrid, (It would look a bit like a gulper eel I think) and stoker class is next.

And the results are in! the Stormcutter has won by a landslide! my condolences to the speed stingers. Up next is Tidal class! (managed to catch this in the morning, so it'll be out quicker than this one was)

Well as it's a tie, it seems it will need to be a hybrid, that I shall be working on the concept art on next morning! I'll be sure to post the next pole in the morning as well, so stay tuned đź‘‹
httyd in modern times NR rewrite. I'm using one dragon from each class in it for the main characters, and decided to put vote on it.
Basically whichever dragon wins will be one of the seven dragons character for the main characters to raise.
another dragon
(my oc Hiccup the fourth taking on the mantle of searching for the remaining dragons who haven't been told to hide or go to the hidden world. Haven't decided whether it's a girl or boy yet,)
Hybrid of the hypnolur and whispering death this dragon is simply known as 'the ring of eyes' who resides on the rocky shores of outcast island's remains. It buries deep underground with it's head on the surface, it's large eye closed, and the smaller multicoloured eyes glittering like gems in the sunlight to tempt any vikings that dock there. Once they are on top of the singular large eye, the eyeball rolls back in it's head to reveal a gaping hole of whirring teeth, which the viking promptly falls into, and is never seen again. When shot at by dragon or human, It will not outright attack any of them, due to its eye/mouth being a massive weak spot, and will instead flee into outcast island's rocks. Realistically dragon hybrids who are not subspecies of each other would go horribly wrong on average, due to health issues.
(might do this comic on digital when I've fully designed the hiccup)

a httyd species I made up
You can never sneak up on it from above or below, due to the eyes on its head and wings. as it's not a strong flyer it prefers to glide from tree to tree. They are nocturnal. How it catches prey is that it uses a light inside the end of its tail that makes it resemble a human torch or dragon. It then moves it in a way to resemble either one depending on what it wants to catch. When the victim gets close it stabs it with a venomous spike inside the light, making the victim paralysed before it grabs it with it's many tongues pulling it up to its mouth, and crunching down on it with it's practical wall of teeth. As they cannot breathe fire, they rely on this trick, but if they are somehow caught off guard by a dragon or human, they have the ability to hypnotise them with the eyes on their wings just long enough to get away. Its species lives in Berserker island's forests, and due to it the Berserkers have since made it a rule not to travel at night.

A redraw of a scene from season 7, done with fineliners. I think I definitely prefer them to the ink brushes on procreate, since it’s more of a challenge to work around any mistakes I make, rather than just doing undo, and it’s easier to do detail quicker.

Basically this is if Fireworm and Toothless species looked like they do in the movies, from another short story redraw. (Movie hookfang is a mix of book hookfang, rival MN, and fireworm. Movie toothless is a mix between him and windwalker.) This scene is from a short story where toothless finds some eggs, and has to protect the babies from Fireworm. The text: she hissed at Toothless, looking suspiciously around the room, taking in Toothless’s blackened state, covered in charcoal and goo.
did a rough character sheet of Ao bing, since I found out that the only thing I could draw semi consistently was lmk. I’ll do some of other characters as well, when I have the time. His voice claim I think would be Legolas/Orlando bloom. The possibly lover bit is because the concepts of a plot connecting to lmk, after his revival, are still in development for a comic.

Hiccup as a manga version, a redraw of page ten of The Day of the Dreader, done on procreate, as a digital lineart test. also if anyone wants to colour it, I give complete permission as long as credit is mentioned for the line-art. (If anyone wants to but doesn’t know how, you put this layer on multiply, then use other layers under it.)
Bit random, it’s a comic of a dream I had years ago after reading the hobbit which is just still ingrained in my memory for some reason. The sketch and lineart was done on paper, while the colouring and background was done on procreate as a test.

how to train your dragon, books and movies. For books I’m hoping to try doing the characters if they were in an anime/manga (since hiccups hair kinda fits the asthetic)
probably some my hero academia, I’m not as knowledgeable on it compared to the other fandoms, but there’s this character called Oboro from the vigilantes comic that’s like sun wukong, so I’ll probably be doing some crossover art between it and lmk.
things to expect: not perfect quality digital art for the time being, I’m still trying to get better at it, traditional is more my strong suit. There will likely some oc’s from each of those fandoms, and hopefully comics.
I’m busy a lot so a bunch of art will probably not come out consistently on this.

Monkie kid Oc fanart. The dragon is Ao Bing from the tale of Nezha, in my au he is brought out of the underworld via a sacrifice ritual done by his father. The other is an unnamed oc, of the female monkey king mentioned in JTTW. She has two tails, to mirror how the four celestial monkeys have differences, in the lmk timeline, a few years before she and Nezha have a battle, and he ends up blinding her, and trapping her in one of the mountains that he and Wukong battle around, in s3. She’s still in concept stage, and ideas are welcome.
