Hermes is one of my favorite gods, as I'm a world traveler, and he's the patron god of Travelers. I think he embodies the joyful, serendipitous nature of wandering and discovery in a new land. Hermes, God of diplomacy, commerce, travelers and trade. He was the only one with the power to enter the underworld. Initially he was portrayed as middle aged with dark beard and long locks, but later he was portrayed as a beardless youth, which is what i went for. He was also the god of sleep, and could put mortals to sleep or wake them up with his wand.

I think we should normalize nico smelling rancid. I read so many fics that are like “he smells like roses and ash~” literally how he hasn’t showered in three months and has been wearing the same jacket since he was 12.

Like when they find him in the jar, he most definitely did not smell good.

When they came home finally to defeat gaea? Oh he smelled HORRIBLE. Not only did he have the smell of blood, sweat, monster guts, dirt and mud- he also had whatever the fuck coach hedge put all over his body to keep him alive. Mother fucker probably smelled worse than a boys locker room during football season.

When he got to camp will probably took one damn sniff after patching up all his wounds and fucking fainted on the ground. The only reason the other seven + reyna and hedge didn’t react to his stank was because they too all had not showered in weeks. Percy and Annabeth went to TARTARUS they probably smelled RANK. Nico did too and even though he was in that damn jar he was probably sweating pro-fuckin-fusely like imagine being locked in a tiny space while you’re in literal hell.

No, Jason was kind. He was empathetic, he feels so deeply, that’s why he reacts quickly.

He thought his biological mother was in danger, and he wanted to save her. In his last moments he protected Sheila even tho she gave him up and let him be tortured by the Joker.

Jason was good, and he was a good kid. He was happy, he proclaimed “Robin gives me magic” he loved school, and he loves helping crime alley and it’s people.

Jason’s recklessness didn’t get him killed, his kindness did. His kindness was abused and that got him killed. And that’s why his shift to Red Hood is even sadder because there’s such a huge shift from the boy he was due to the pain he went through. And erasing that, well you’re erasing a huge part of Jason Todd himself.

Everyone loves to talk about this sad/angsty panel of Timmy where he discovers Jack is dead and Bruce holds him, which yes that’s really sad but…

the lead up to this where Tim is crying in the batmobile on the phone with Jack and Bruce is lowkey panicking, rushing to try to get there in time only to ultimately be too late like he was before…heartbreaking

Hold on, I’m realizing that a lot of people on here are under the impression that Jason only died once. I thought you guys were like hardcore in denial or something. Is everyone clear on the fact that Bruce’s batarang to Jason’s throat did in fact kill Jason? He did not miraculously survive that. That’s not my opinion, it actually happened.

not liking a ship or a character is okay. more than okay, it’s completely normal. but harassing a young actress online it’s not. 

these past few days i’ve seen people send her messages from complaining about a couple’s age difference to saying they wish she would drop dead. just now someone said to me on twitter that ‘grace van dien is a pervert who does not understands eddie is gay and that ‘joe’ should be protected from her’. and why is she a ‘pervert’, i asked? because she shares edissy fanfiction and fanart online. 

tweeting that you wished she would catch on fire because she was confirmed on a fan convention, just because the man you worship will be there as well? saying that she’s a ‘slut’ and that she’s pathetic for wanting to ‘jump on his dick’ (their words, not mine)? well, this is not normal behavior.

joseph quinn is not a child, stop babying an almost 30 yr old man - he does not need your ‘protection’. he is not your friend, he is not your colleague and he’s definitely not your boyfriend. he is not eddie. you don’t know him. you know who does know him personally? grace van dien, who is a real person who can read the awful things you send her. a person who has been nothing but nice to everyone who interacts with her online. 

things we say online are real and extremely dangerous. as a lawyer (even if not based in the us)  i can safely say grace van dien can take legal action against a lot of people. i honestly hope she does. this type of behavior cannot go unpunished. 

in the end, this is not about edissy or steddie. this is not about people thinking the duffer brothers wrote eddie as gay/bi/ or trans. this stopped being about fictional characters a while ago. 

this is about people crossing the line between what’s real and what’s fiction. this is about the cult of celebrity worshipping. and this is about people needing to realize that this man is an actor whos getting paid to do a job. he is not going to fall in love with you. he is not yours to protect. 

if you are one of these people who think they know a famous person because of how much you ‘love’ them, you need to seek help. this is dangerous behavior and soon someone is going to get in legal trouble over it.

why did we see Max's letters and not have anyone read them. why did they big up Jason creating a mob when nothing happened. why did they have Eddie say he wasn't a hero then die saving no one. why have will be in love with Mike and not say it to anyone. why introduce new characters just to kill them and neglect others. why have so many storylines that are essentially meaningless. why-

it’s gonna be absolutely soul crushing when (inevitably) one of the main characters dies in vol 2. but imagine one of them actually dies the same way vecna’s other victims did.

it’s going to be so gruesome to watch. absolutely traumatizing. seeing a character we love so much die in such a brutal way.

but what’s going to be even worse is seeing the other people’s reactions. we’re watching a beloved character die like that. but they’re watching their friend, their family, get murdered in such a cruel fashion. and it’s going to be absolutely heartbreaking.

I know like everyone is taking about the casting of Annabeth as black, which I'm more than ok with. but ever since she was cast, I know we've all seen the blatant racism, but I've also noticed art of white Annabeth (still a valid interpretation) or white cosplayers are getting flooded with comments along the lines of

"this is EXACTLY how I pictured Annabeth"

"this is MY Annabeth"

"the true Annabeth"

we all know what you are trying to communicate even if you aren't saying it directly. stop it.

and for everyone who is saying "I'd be just as upset is they casted a POC character as white!" I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you would.

but those characters race is important.

for representation.

for their background

it's important that Leo is Mexican because his grandfather went to a school for colored children, where he met Hazel.

it's important that Hazel is black because of the culture shock she gets when she comes to the 2000s in terms of racism.

it's important that Frank is Chinese because it is how he is decended from Neptune.

it's important that Piper is Cherokee because she carries all the lessons and parables she got from her uncle with her throughout her story.

it's not important that Annabeth is white because the only thing important about her appearance is that people underestimate her because of it. you know a demographic that is often disrespected and underestimated for their appearance? black people, especially black women.

Leah Jeffries is not a "diversity hire" and it absolutely disgusting behavior to say she is. she is a twelve year old girl who already has an acting career and worked hard to get where she is.
