The fact that there are so many fanfic writers and yet, despite all the friends I make IRL who love all the fandoms and fanfic I love, I have never met another fanfic writer IRL terrifies me… do we all just hide?? Is it the people that I least suspect??? WHERE IS EVERYONE???

It’s always nice to imagine the whumpee’s first shower after being freed. Warm water pouring down their scars, maybe after only having freezing water thrown on them. Scented body wash that pushes the memories of their cell far away. Maybe even the caretaker sitting just beside the tub, helping wash through knots and mats in their hair.

The reason i find the concept of Thrawn and Ezra on a forced roadtrip through Deep Space so FUCKING funny is bc they belong in entirely different genres. Thrawn's like a morally grey magnificent bastard straight out of Game of Thrones while Ezra's basically a shonen anime protagonist. It would literally be like Tywin Lannister was forced to go on a life changing field trip with Ash Ketchum

Sometimes, I still feel so able bodied.

Like the aches and pains are quiet for just a moment long enough for me to remember what freedom I used to have. It's almost like if I yearn for it hard enough, I can have the old me back. I had a teacher just last week who was actively talking about how you shouldn't discriminate against other students, and he was specifically talking about disabled students. Midway through this talk, he looks back at me, (I'd been stimming pretty hard the whole time) and he says "what are you, playing air guitar?"
