Story time!

I was a theatre kid in high school. After our opening night it was tradition for all of the cast and crew to go to AppleBees to celebrate and then be there until 2-3 am. In my senior year we had one kid from a different high school join us. He was a really nice guy and worked extremely hard. We also had elementary school and middle school students in a few scenes for the sake of getting more parents to buy our tickets. One of those middle school students was the guy’s younger brother. So when we all went to AppleBees those two guys came with us. I sat next to the little brother and my sibling.

The kid is on his phone, most likely feeling awkward about being the only middle schooler surrounded by high school students. I ended up seeing what he was doing on l his phone. Kid was watching My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. So I ask “Hey are you watching My Little Pony?” My sibling overheard this and started looking at the kid. The kid looks shocked and mortified because two seniors in high school just caught him watching MLP. So imagine his surprise when we start gushing and asking question because we too watch MLP.

We were like “OMG! Who is your favorite character? How far are you? How long have you been into it?”

This kid was in SHOCK that two kids 4 years older than him watched a show that a lot of people in his own age group would tease him about. He was a little timid, but we spent the rest of the night talking about MLP with him.

Never be afraid to be into something you love. It does t matter if it’s technically a show made for kids. That does not make your enjoyment less valid and you never know who might be into the same thing you are.

Also yes, while I am not as into it now, I still consider myself a MLP fan.

Update on the toxic yaoi husbands:

They just had a second litter and Fogfruit does not seem to be taking it well. He keeps having statuses about finding his kids both young and old annoying, and the stress really seems to be getting to him because he just had a stressed induced seizure (he’s seizure prone). Honestly this is probably why his husband is a doctor. But I swear this couple should not be having kids! They seem to like the idea of having of them and like them as adults, but can’t handle them as kids.

I think my clangen save made some toxic Yaoi. The deputy, Fogfruit, and one of the medicine cats, Woodsting, were mates for a bit but broke up when their kits were a couple moons old. But a few moons after their kits became warriors they got back together. It made me think that they broke up because of their kits, maybe the responsibility of being a parent put too much strain on the relationship. Once they didn’t have to deal with raising them anymore they thought they could try romance again. Not exactly healthy but okay. But all the kits are on good terms with their dads. So idk. They’re still messy.

My sibling and I just watched Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy and we came up with a bunch of sexuality and dating headcannons based on it. The conversation was very funny so I thought I would share our final consensus on this.

Sexualities

Tinker Bell : Pansexual

Get it? Because of Peter Pan. Tink just doesn’t really care. She has always done her own thing and that also applies to who she likes.

Silvermist: Bisexual

I originally thought of her as a lesbian, but her outfit in the Pirate Fairy was the Bi flag colors so she has to be Bi. I think she is a huge disaster bisexual, but is also denser than a brick. You could scream that you are in love with her and she will not get it.

Iridessa: Queer

She definitely isn’t straight. But neither of us can figure out what her sexuality is. We like to think that Iridessa identifies as queer because trying to commit to a single label gives her too much anxiety.

Fawn: Lesbian Asexual Gender Non Conforming

Look at this girl and tell me she doesn’t like girls! I dare you! I just can’t see her dating men at all. As for asexual we decided to use it as an umbrella term. I’m not sure where she lands on the spectrum. She definitely isn’t sex repulsed though. Also I think Fawn identifies as a girl but that doesn’t really mean anything to her. She sometimes uses they/them but very rarely.

Vidia: Lesbian

This girl gives mean lesbian vibes and we all know it. Also she has definitely kissed everyone in the main friend group at least once.

Rosetta: Bi-curious and Trans mtf

To my sibling she gives off huge trans girl vibes and I can definitely see it. I feel like it didn’t take long for her to transition after being born in Pixie Hallow. Maybe a couple months. A year tops. When she did come out everyone was like “Finally! She transitioned!” As for her being Bi-curious we think that she genuinely didn’t realize that girls were an option. It took two of the girls in the friend group dating for Rosetta to realize that she could date girls, and that she her completely normal thoughts about her friends were not as platonic as she thought. I like to think Fawn helped her figure some stuff out. But she does still like men and probably prefers them, even if only slightly. She is still with her boyfriend Sled.

Couples

So we came to the conclusion that Tink and Vidia dated for a bit, but broke up. No one really knows this because they kept it quiet since they have the same friend group and didn’t want things to be awkward if it didn’t work out. In the end the two are just not compatible romantically. Their tempers were the main reason. They joke about it now though.

We came to the conclusion that Tinker and Terence eventually do date. They are both polyamorous and are looking for a third, but no one seems interested.

Silvermist and Fawn are two dumbasses in a pod. They get into so much shit together. They love each other and have no shame.

Finally when watching the Pirate Fairy we noticed that Vidia was usually the one calming down Iridessa when she was having an anxiety attack and it was cute. I actually think they were the first of the friend group to start dating, but were very low key about it. When everyone found out Silvermist and Fawn started dating everyone said that they were the first of the friend group to start dating each other and Vidia just looked at everyone and stated that she and Iridessa had been dating for over a year. Everyone freaked out.

Periwinkle: AroAce

Girl thinks she is Pansexual like her sister because she feels the same about everyone. But she doesn’t realize that the feeling is platonic and lack of romantic and sexual interest.

Bobble: Gay Trans ftm

According to my sibling this man is too much of a twink to not be trans. Also this man is totally married to Clank and you can’t tell me other wise.

Clank: Gay

Like I said he and Bobble are married and that’s that.

Queen Clarion: Bisexual

I don’t know. She gives off mom bisexual vibes. I actually think she might have a slight preference for girls. She is madly in love with her boyfriend though.

Fairy Mary: Lesbian

She totally had a huge crush on Queen Clarion, but never pursued it because she could tell that Queen Clarion was not mentally ready for a relationship even if she didn’t know why.

Zarina: Bisexual

This girl is definitely not straight. I feel like she might be interested in being the third that Tink and Terence are looking for idk.

Terence: Just Ken

He is either the straightest dude bro ally in history or he’s Bi. There is no in between.

Doing another RWBY hatedom rant because people seemed to like the last one and I have more to say:

I absolutely despise it when people call Yang selfish and a terrible sister in Volume 9 when it came to Ruby’s struggles with her mental health. I have two main issues.

1. People seem to think that because Yang is Ruby’s big sister then she needs to always be at her beck and call. She can’t disagree with Ruby. She can’t let Ruby do things on her own. She can’t focus on herself or her happiness. She must always be focusing on Ruby. That’s not how relationships, especially sibling ones, work. People seem to think that Yang must sacrifice everything for Ruby and if she is anything less than that then she is a terrible sister. Do people forget how much Yang had given up for Ruby?! She raised her! She sacrificed her life for her! As soon as she was ready to went to go find Ruby in Volume 5 instead of her mom, which she had wanted to do for most of her life! I fully believe that if Raven didn’t have her portal semblance, which made finding/getting to Ruby MUCH easier, Yang would not have bothered. Yang loves her sister so much! But just because she’s a big sister does not mean that she isn’t allowed to struggle or focus on herself.

2. Here’s the big reason. As someone who has had to deal with a VERY similar experience in my life it absolutely infuriates me when people call Yang a terrible person and sister. I won’t go into too much detail because it’s not my place and I’d rather keep the information private but a couple years ago my sister hit a very low point mentally and it got very scary. (She’s doing much better now don’t worry). Here’s something that most people don’t realize when someone very close to you is going through something like Ruby did: You don’t tend to realize how bad it is. I knew that my sister had her struggles, but I genuinely thought she was doing alright. Afterwards I felt like such a terrible person because I wished that I noticed more and wished she had told me what was going on. This is exactly how Yang felt! She knew her sister was struggling, but didn’t realize just how bad Ruby’s mental state had gotten. She would try to comfort Ruby, not realizing that it was making it worse. She wished that Ruby had told her so that she could help her. It’s a really shitty situation to be in. This is on top of the fact that all of team RWBY were in a very stressful situation after having witnessed the fall of Atlas. I don’t think any of them were in great headspace’s, Ruby was just in a much worse place.

Honestly the entirety of Volume 9, in my opinion, was very realistic in its portrayal of mental health issues both as the person struggling with it and as the people around them. These situations are messy, complicated, and are never straightforward. Trying to treat it as anything else really shows that people don’t know what they’re talk about.

Yang is a good sister. She’s not perfect, but guess what? No one is! Remember we as an audience know so much more than the characters do. Just because characters don’t handle a situation perfectly doesn’t mean they’re garbage.

I hate when people watch RWBY and go “There’s no difference between magic, dust and semblances! This show is so stupid!” Of course it all looks like magic to us! We can’t do any of the stuff that dust and semblances do in our world! Magic in the world of RWBY is what is considered impossible or otherworldly, just like us! But semblances and dust are a part of everyday life in RWBY. That’s why it’s not magic. What makes magic in RWBY magic is that it doesn’t follow the rules of that world.

A semblance is basically an individual superpower that manifests through a person’s aura. A person can only have one superpower. Semblances may “evolve” and allow a user to do more things but it is still the same power at its core. For example Ren’s semblance is tranquillity. Originally it allowed him to mask negative emotions of himself and/or others. In volume 8 it evolved so that Ren can also see emotions. While he did gain a new ability his semblance is still one based on emotions at its core. He’s not gonna one day be able to absorb lightning like Nora can. A semblance can’t be used if a person’s aura breaks. Also from my understanding a semblance can’t cause people to have any physical mutations. For example no one is going to have a semblance that makes them shapeshift. (People like Neo don’t shapeshift. They make illusions.)

Dust is basically an energy source that can allow people to control different elements. This can’t be done without dust. People can have elemental semblances similar to dust, but they can only manipulate that one element. For example Neptune’s semblance allows him to control water, but if he wants to control another element, let’s say fire, then he needs to use dust.

Magic throws all of these rules out of the window, which is why people that use it are so powerful. They don’t have the limits that most people in RWBY have. The maidens can manipulate whatever element they want without dust in addition to their semblance. That’s multiple superpowers. Also, as seen through Amber’s fight against Emerald and Mercury, a maiden can still use their power if their aura breaks. The reason Qrow and Raven turning into birds is magic is because as mentioned earlier a semblance can’t cause people to go beyond normal human/faunus biology. That’s why Weiss and Yang were so shocked when Raven turned into a bird in front of them. People are not supposed to be able to do that!

Magic in RWBY is different because it goes beyond the rules of the world that the SHOW takes place in, not our own. Semblances and dust follow those rules so they aren’t magic.

Now I’m not saying you can’t be confused. But I hate it when people don’t take the time to understand something and automatically call the show terrible because of it.

This is awesome! The way you described it makes me feel like that Emily would be first by a long shot to figure that they all like each other and would desperately be dropping hints. Meanwhile Charlie and Vaggie are both having a crisis because they are in love with TWO people and have no idea if everyone would be into that. A fun bonus would be Vaggie and Charlie easily catching on that the other likes Emily, but have zero clue if they would fit into the dynamic.

So overall, Charlie knows that Emily and Vaggie like each other, but she doesn’t know if either of them like her or want a poly relationship. Vaggie knows that Emily and Charlie like each other, but she ALSO doesn’t know if either of them like her or want a poly relationship. Emily is fully aware that everyone likes each other and is tired.

Hazbin Hotel Arranged Marriage Idea for Charlie/Emily/Vaggie: In agreement to halt extermination against Sinner/stop a potential war, Hell and Heaven agree to arrange a marriage between Charlie and Emily. A more realistic path will be Charlie residing (held hostage) in Heaven, but I want Emily to live in the Pride Ring. Not trusting the Hellborns, Heaven sends a squadron as guards for Emily, Vaggie just happens to be captain. I don't have much of a plot, but some things I could think of:

Tension between Charlie and Vaggie: Since Vaggie is an Exorcist and hasn't been exiled yet, Vaggie will be more hostile against her. Charlie will try to befriend her and accidentally fall in love because she is so pretty.

Actually, there will be tension between Charlie and Emily, too. Even though Emily was friendly to Charlie in "Welcome to Heaven", she was in her turf But now she is in Hell, and likely being inculcated all her life about Hell will be terrified. Charlie tries to show her the good things of Hell.

In most days, Emily will seek Vaggie in comfort or ask her personal for escorting.

Charlie invites Emily, and indectly, Vaggie, too, a stroll through the Morningstar garden and try to be romantic. But comedy is insured as Hell and Heaven are two very different cultures and have differences of what is considered beautiful. I talking about eldritch plants and horrors.

Charlie tries to bond Vaggie through sparrings, but she does not actually train her ability, keeps getting her ass. And Vaggie, taking pity on her and not because she likes her, teach her how to fight. But, like, one day, she manages to get the upper hand and to land Vaggie on her back. This, and this very important, made Vaggie flustered because she likes it???? Emily is there too since she wants to see her wife and guard/developing crush spur, and now discovering she may have a kink??

Lute is also apart of the guards and she fucking hates Charlie. She thinks the whole marriage is blasphemy but also envy that Vaggie is paying attention to Charlie and not her.
