Anyone who wishes for a copy of the cards can feel free to save them off the posts. If you’d like a txt. document with the original text and the translations in it, you can message me asking for it. I enjoyed being with all the SnB fans and translating all these cards. It was a blast~
Thanks to Sinbad-Ai and Anojima who helped provide me with the cards. You two were wonderful. Special thanks to anyone who helped me correct a tranlsation error, in particular Mari M. Rose who helped me with the R set, and Sinbadism who helped with the K set.
Some pictures of Yunan~ Some of these are really early works, some of these are more recent. The artists for the original line art are as follows
1. An Icon taken from the labyrinth of magic manga. Owned by Ohtaka-sensei.
2. I’m not precisely sure if this is accurate. The furthest I could trace the line art back to was Zahedra Henderson on Pintrest. So I believe that’s the original artist. Please feel free to let me know if you find someone else as the source. The line art I took can be found here.
3. Again, not precisely sure who the original artist was. I had downloaded it through Pintrest which stated it was saved from Tumblr. The only version I could find of it on Tumblr was this which I’m hoping is the original one. If anyone can give me further information please send it to me.
Old pic again. THis one is primarily an experiment with glow effect. To make it look like she’s irridescent. The original line art can be found here but I’m currently still looking for the original artist. The blog it links to does not contain the original image, and if I recall from earlier attempts, is not the original holder of that name.
An image from my sketchbook, I took the manga character and redrew it in a real life style. The work was my own, the image was received from Google (If you require a credit for the reference image, please let me know and I will add a credit for you. Please only claim the reference if it is actually yours.)
Do not use my art elsewhere. Do not repost. Do not claim as your own.
I was inspired to do an Mirin-based Hello Kitty by an image I saw. So this is my take on it. Done in my own style, so lacking in the outlines of Kittychan.
Already people have been graciously helping to get all the sets, and I’ve gotten another set collected, which has been posted before this update. There’s still a few more sets to go though, and every little bit is appreciated. Small steps at a time though. Currently, I’m still missing the following cards (Listed in both the English set and the actual Kana):
A, I, U, E, O あ い う え お Ka, Ki, Ku, Ke, Ko か き く け こ Sa, Su, So さ す そ
Any one who further wishes to provide the Karuta cards to me so I can go back and translate the original sets, please send me a message. I have been able to somewhat narrow down the chapters that one might look to for certain cards, so if you don’t want to search through a lot of them, then feel free to ask before you start looking (in case you don’t have them already on hand.) If for any reason your message is not going through, please send me an ask with your name and I’ll get back to you. I request good quality images and require both the front and the back of the card in its original Japanese. Also, please include a link to your blog so I can give you the credit you deserve for the cards you provided. Thanks again to everyone for their support.
I hope you’ve all enjoyed the Karuta Card Translations.
We’re nearing the end, Once again it’s time for the next set of Karuta Cards from Sinbad no Bouken. As always, this is an amateur translation. I’ll do them in sets by letters as they become available to me. Today is the K set.
Ka- Djinn Equips, because he's too lazy to climb the stairs. かいだんを登のが面倒魔装しちゃえ。
Ki- Ja'far is resposible for guarding the child Kikiriku. キキリクの子守ジュアファルに任せた Correction: Thanks to the advice of Sinbadism, the correct translation should be- Ja’far is responsible for babysitting Kikiriku.
Ku- It's a painful time when it's my Djinn's turn. くるしい時は俺のジン出番だぜ。
Ke- Household vessel triggered!! Roar Lightning! けんぞくき発動!!うなれ電光!
Ko- I am not a child, I'm a splendid assassin! こどもじゃない俺も立派な暗殺者。

Life Flows On
I had a dream I was doing a watercolour of an image, so when I woke, I wanted to paint it. All in all, a decent result I hope. Loved the colour scheme.
The idea was that Xigbar was taking pictures of people, so I tried to get natural poses. Some were willing, some less so, others without knowing their picture was taken. The images weren't all taken in the order presented as Xigbar's was definitely taken after Xaldin's. I tried to have a unique pose in each picture so that I could challenge myself with angles, textures, and perspectives. They were all drawn on the same size paper with the same portrait layout. Please do not repost elsewhere. I listed it as mature due to a few risque drawings, though nothing is exposed.
Kikoyora "Kira" Nakasashi Asexual, heteroromantic, female. "Boku" vocabulary, male pronouns online. I enjoy art and video games, and am improving in both.
