Lucien is still alive when the Hero arrives at Applewatch. Imagine him hanging there, flayed and torn to pieces, seeing through blurry bloodshed eyes his Silencer storming in with evidence proving his innocence in their hands. Imagine him wanting to smile despite the agonizing pain, despite literally missing half of his face. Imagine him taking his last breaths feeling proud of his loyal Silencer, who, by the looks on their face, hurried to Applewatch like it was their life on the line and not his. Imagine him slipping into darkness as Sithis’s cold grip drags him into the Void and yet feeling triumphant over the Black Hand as the last thing he sees is the horror in Mathieu Belamont’s eyes. Lucien dies feeling avenged, knowing that the Traitor’s punishment will be much more worse than his. He dies knowing that even though his dear Silencer didn’t make it in time, they were on his side till the very end.

i really cannot stress enough to yall just how good oblivion is
The kids in this show are currently 14-15 years old.
This show’s target audience are children who are younger than the characters. So, not you, not me, not any user that should be using tumblr.
There are MULTIPLE seasons left. Stop acting as if the show ends at the end of this season whenever something happens.
Writing isn’t bad just because you have a problem with something that a character says or does.
Marinette and Adrien are Yin and Yang, and as Master Fu has even said, “they’re made for each other”. Which means endgame. It’s been foreshadowed since S1, how can you possibly think otherwise?
Take a breath. If the show itself is continuing to cause you so much stress and salt (two things that are really bad for your health) then maybe it’s time to take a step back from it.
You remember what it’s like being a teenager, right? As a teen, we would do dumb stuff. We were nervous and scared and anxious around our crushes and the thought of them knowing how we feel is, like, the scariest thing in the world. Most likely you’re an adult now and you don’t feel this way, or at least much, anymore. So you’re projecting your current self onto the characters and expecting them to react how you would. But they’re not you! They’re like 14 year old you. Not that much time should’ve passed that you can’t remember yourself, or your friends, or your siblings and how you or they were like at that age. That being said, kids are supposed to be relating and learning from this. Stop acting like its existence is to please you specifically, because it’s not. Whenever an event happens, like Chat finding out Ladybug loves someone else, or Marinette finding out Adrien loves someone else, or Luka/Kagami coming into the picture, everyone loses their minds and starts assuming the worst and voicing those opinions and feelings like it’s fact. This is a multi-season show that could very well have more seasons than even the creators themselves know about at this point in time. When have you ever watched a multi-season show where what was going on in the beginning is still is mega prevalent and really the only thing going at the end? Relax, there’s plenty of time for things to be worked out and for new issues to arise. Marinette or Adrien could tell the other one that they hate their guts and I can guarantee that they would be feeling just about the opposite by the end of this show. A lot can change in a short amount of time! I mean, have you ever watched an Asian drama? So you don’t like that Alya didn’t stick up for Marinette in Chameleon and ignored her claim about Lila because she thought she was being jealous, or that Kagami isn’t what you envisioned in your mind after seeing her briefly in Riposte, or that Marinette’s always had the tendency to be obsessive about Adrien and do crazy and embarrassing things when it comes to him too. I totally get all that. Having a preconceived notion about a character that’s just been introduced to be wrong when you start actually getting to know them, or you’ve only seen part of what they’re like and they do something you don’t like, is no reason to claim bad writing. I’ve seen bad writing from shows from all over the world my entire life, and this isn’t it. You know the ones, the ones that make you just want to hit your head on something to put yourself out of your misery when the characters have a conversation for five minutes. If this show’s writing was so bad like tumblr users like to keep saying, it wouldn’t be mega popular like it is to the point where a majority of people have at least heard of or seen something from the show. There’s always room for improvement, of course, but not agreeing with some things doesn’t equal bad writing.
Yin and Yang. Extremely obvious that they’re both alike and very different at the same time, that they compliment each other both when they’re around one another, and also when they’re not, but going through similar things at around the same time. The parallels emphasize this all the time. This is a story about characters growing up, learning, changing, and experiencing life - with the add-on responsibility of saving Paris (and later, the rest of the world) from danger. We’d have no story if by season 2, Marinette and Adrien were dating and everything went happily for the rest of the show. That’s not how life works. One mishap, one misunderstanding, one new crush, that’s not going to change the outcome of these two but in a more natural and positive way. I honestly don’t understand why anyone who no longer finds joy in something would continue sticking to it, if that applies to some users who find the need to post constant salt. It’s okay to be frustrated at times, but it’s not if it’s a common thing. That’s just unhealthy. You may say you have the right to post it, but people also have the right to ask you not to, as this is a community that’s dedicated to the love for something. Because while you may not like the show, or be able to stand how it’s progressing anymore, there are a lot of us that still do, and always will, and all the salt just brings everybody down. We would like to share our thoughts and feelings about what the show is - not always have to read salt about what it isn’t.
Someone finally says it!!!
Y’all act like you didn’t make mistakes when you were 13-16 year olds
Can everyone just realize that while the writing may be faulty that they’re actually kind of realistic. Not everyone is mature enough to recognize the best decisions when you’re that young and we often make selfish decisions when other people enable us
Does that completely excuse bad behavior or justify hurting others? No.
But at least we have an understanding of why people do the things that they do, which extends to our main characters.
I find it refreshing that Marinette isn’t perfect and as we keep progressing we see that neither are Kagami or Adrien. Marinette has a huge jealousy streak and it’s a major flaw that’s brought up so I can see how that’s tiring but speaking as a girl who was also the jealous type around Marinette’s age, it’s actually nice to see how a real teenager is depicted. Yes, acting on jealousy is incredibly selfish and we hurt other people unknowingly, but we shouldn’t completely label things as “good” or completely label things as “bad.” Marinette is a good character with a few bad characteristics and she tends to do a few bad things, but it’s better than having her be this squeaky clean character who is completely devoid of flaws and setbacks. It makes her more relatable and it makes it more empowering when she’s rewarded for the good things that she’s done.
I can see why everyone is kind of tired of seeing Marinette acting jealous/petty or why everyone is frustrated that Chloe isn’t getting a redemption arc, but you also have to realize that people don’t just change over night and that they actually have to actually dedicate time to recognize their mistakes and grow from them. People tend to relapse or fall back into bad behavior, not every redemption arc or growth arc is straight.
Wouldn’t be weirder if Marinette completely accepted Kagami as Adrien’s love interest when she’s shown to be in love with him and has previously acted on impulsive jealousy? Wouldn’t it be a little weird if Chloe was super nice to everyone and did the right thing all the time when she’s always been a spoiled brat? Wouldn’t it be weird if our protagonists didn’t act like the characters they’ve always been established as?
So please stop complaining about our characters not acting perfect, when you should just take it as it is and stop getting upset when they don’t reach your projected expectations
So this might actually be a controversial post since so many people in the Miraculous Ladybug fandom love salt and hating on the creators, but I think the fandom has crossed the line.
It seems like every episode I see so many post hating on the writing and characters and ultimately there is always a post coming at Thomas Astruc himself. Mind you, a lot of these post are brutal and show literal hate to the author of the show for little details here and there that people don’t really like, no matter how opinion based these issues are.
I don’t understand how all these basic manners the fandom excels at when it comes to fan writings and fan art are all thrown out the window when someone manages to have their original ideas actually publicized. When it comes to fan written work, if people don’t like it, they just ignore it and don’t write hateful things in the comment section. If they enjoy most of it, but have a few places here and there they don’t care for, they still usually like the work and make nice comments. However, when it comes to Thomas, or any other publized creator for that matter, because I feel like this does not just happen with MLB, people feel free to spew their hate on the smallest little details instead of just commenting on what they like or enjoyed about the episode. Thomas gets direct hate thrown at him for people’s opinion on little details all the time.
Look, at the end of the day, this is Thomas’ show, and these are his characters. This is his original story, his original world, and his original project. He got the funding to make his original idea come to life and people of all ages all over around the globe have loved it! Even if you think your fan fictions, one-shots, or AUs are better than the actual show, they would not exist without Thomas and his original idea. Even if you think you can write the characters better, they are his characters, and not yours. We can have fun using the characters and the universe he created, and we can add some of our own originality by coming up with AUs or adding changes to characters, but at the end of the day, the original story is his, and he can do what he wants with it. We as a fandom should respect him like we would fellow tumblr writers in the sense that even if we do not like his work, we just ignore it, and move on, because it’s not our baby, it’s his. If you do not like the actual show, feel free to stop watching it and only consume fan fiction based off of his idea. That way, people who enjoy the show do not have to deal with seeing hateful comments after every episode from people who should have stopped watching long ago if they really feel the way they say.
I realize these are actually really obvious but it was uncomfortable for me when i first learnt these as a young artist :’) Feel free to add on, it’ll probably be more ~spicy~ than whatever I can come up with!
Before you read any further make sure you watch all episodes of Final Space since I will be talking about the whole first season.
I was watching the documentary that was released today where Olan goes into the theme of loneliness in the show and I started to realize how all of the characters are brought together by loneliness.
Gary is obvious. His father died when he was young and he was basically exiled in space for five years with a bunch of robots. He has a desperation to get out of that state by befriending anyone he comes across no matter their past. In the end, however, he is essentially back to where he started since the majority of his friends are either dead or MIA and his only comfort before death is talking with his AI friend HUE, someone he didn’t consider company when a prisoner.
Quinn is lonely in that she, at the time, was the only one in the Infinity Guard to defy The Lord Commander. She was betrayed by the very organization she based her whole life around and has a hard time trusting anyone else in the event she might be hurt again.
Avocato is lonely because he feels that no one would ever empathize with him. He’s hesitant about being close to anyone because he knows once people know about his history and how he was The Lord Commander’s second in command, they would never give him the time of day so he shuts down any friendly gestures at first. Avocato even anticipates his son will never forgive him for the things he’s done. He’s lonely in that he anticipates everyone will hate him.
Little Cato is another obvious one. Hell, he even says it in episode 7. He’s lonely because he never really had a family. Even when Avocato was alive, he was mostly separated from him and it is implied that Avocato was cold outwardly towards him when working for The Lord Commander. He had one moment of feeling whole again with his father and then it was suddenly ripped from his arms when Avocato sacrificed himself. His guilt for his father’s death makes him feel even more alone and would surely eat him if it weren’t for Gary.
Mooncake is lonely because as Nightfall and Lord Commander put it, “everywhere he goes, death follows.” No matter who he befriends with, it will always end in tragedy. In the end when everyone is dead due to people trying to protect him or when he himself uses his powers, he will be back to square one and wander in the loneliness of space.
KVN is actually a pretty relatable form of loneliness in that no one believes in him. Gary constantly makes it a point that he absolutely loathes KVN to the point it physically pains him to give him a thumbs up when he does something good. HUE even acknowledges that no one has any faith in KVN when he is in the process of saving the Galaxy One from the Infinity Guard. I feel that KVN is well aware that no one really believes in him but puts on a smile (even though he doesn’t have a mouth) to hide his insecurities. All he wants is approval and friends, but due to his annoying nature, it’s hard for people to actually take him seriously.
HUE is pretty simple in that him being a stereotypical “unfeeling AI”, he feels that he is destined to be lonely and friendless. However, over time, he develops a very close bond towards Gary and is probably the closest friend Gary has since they both had to live with each other for five years. He overcomes the loneliness of his programming by discovering a bit of humanity inside of him via his care for Gary. When Gary dies he actually feels loss and thus alone inside the helmet of his deceased friend. It’s basically how Cortana felt between Halo 3 and Halo 4 after John freezes himself for 4 years in space and she has no company but the frozen body of her closest friend.
The Lord Commander even has some loneliness inside of him and I feel that this is going to play a huge part in season 2. The Lord Commander, or Jack, is lonely due to the fact that he was always in the shadow of someone else and felt unimportant. He was the co-pilot of the great John Goodspeed but history only remembers John and not Jack on that fateful flight. His rise to power is a desperation for him to be remembered, but in doing so, he is regarded as one of the vilest beings in the universe. His value for loyalty is another desperation to get out of a lonely state since he wants everyone to pay attention to him and not anyone else. His insecurities really take form in the last episode when he insists that he got his powers because he was chosen and therefore important and therefore noticed. However, Gary lays the hard truth on him and tells him that his powers were a mistake and he is still a nobody which in turn infuriates Jack. In the end, the Titans choose Earth and leave Jack to suffer alone with his illness with no one to care for him.
I’m super excited where Season 2 is going to go but I hope the theme of loneliness continues throughout the show because I think its a very multi-layered and important theme to explore in fiction. :)
things i didn’t expect: this
honestly? im anti self dx but i kinda feel like it can be good? like if u do a lot of research and just know like “hey i probably have this disorder. i should try to get a proper diagnosis so i can get treatment for it.”
but dont just like. look up some disorder and see that one of the symptoms is sadness and just go “oh :’( i have this and you have to respect that uwu” cause my man i can assure you that you are not a fucking doctor.
HOLY SHIT you guys need to chill. sure, the new episode had plenty of second hand embarrassment and bad shit happen to marinette, BUT SHE'S A F I C T I O N A L CHARACTER. SHE'S NOT REAL. and so i've been seeing some fucking bullshit where y'all have been hating on astruc. unless he did some horrendous shit i don't know about, THIS IS FUCKING UNCALLED FOR. here's an examples:
this was on a gif of ladybug stepping on his face. why the fuck are people so fucking angry they're being assholes to the show's creator? i honestly hope they cancel the fucking show so y'all shut the fuck up. sure, marinette didn't deserve that, but neither does astruc. you guys are fucking toxic. i hate fans like y'all. it's just a show and a fictional character. can't believe you're putting a character before a real person. sure it's not the worst shit i've seen, but there has been some shitty stuff said towards astruc, and i don't think he deserves it. if he did something i didn't know that was terrible that makes this called for, tell me. but i don't think there was anything he did. honestly disappointed.
I love this ship so much lmao. Please enjoy, I worked very hard on this! :)
Silver yawned deeply, stretching tiredly in his little recliner as he endlessly flipped through the channels on TV, nothing appearing to be interesting. His eyes drooped depressingly, and had dark bags underneath. His amber oculars were so lifeless and dull, all the energy lost from him.
Silver had always felt empty.. For so long he felt like something was missing. Like there was something erased from his life. It was like a literal hole in his mind and heart. Nothing he ever did replaced it. He was used to it by now. He could barely remember a time when he actually felt something. Whether it be good or bad. He couldn't cry. He couldn't laugh or smile. He couldn't feel anything. He felt numb. Of course, he constantly felt physical pain. His head would burst into fits of intense throbbing pain, reminding him of the missing pieces within his memories. Shattered and scattered, and he was unable to piece them together.
He still had friends, somehow. Sonic and Amy would sometimes come over, bring baked goods, make sure he was taking care of himself. He hung out with them at times, just simple lunch dates and whatever. But he could never really get into the fun. All he could do was watch as if from a distance, wishing he could enjoy something.
Shadow would come around sometimes too. It was weird to see Shadow act concerned, especially for Silver. He guessed most of his friends would only come by to make sure he was still living. But Silver couldn't really say he was living. This didn't really feel like living. Just barely holding on to the fragile string that is life.
He constantly pondered what was his purpose. Why had he been put on this world, just to feel lost? What could fill this void within him? Whenever Silver scanned through the shards of his mind, he found no continuity. No pattern. No correlation. Nothing made sense. He could catch glimpses of something, someone. They were a breathtaking lilac, but that was all he could see before it would disappear into the depths of his mind. It was the closest he came to feeling something.
*Knock knock*
Silver winced at the sudden loud noise intruding the ambience. It was one of those days where he had a terrible aching headache. He rubbed his head, and levitated out of his seat to the front door.
He took a quick peek into the peephole, to spot a blue blob standing outside his door. Must be Sonic, Silver thought. He opened up the door, putting on his best smile he could. After years of feeling empty, he had practically perfected his smiles.
"Hey, Silver!" Sonic said enthusiastically. "Amy and I have set up a picnic for today, and we're inviting some people over! I think it'd be great for you to get out, especially since I think there's someone you should meet," he winked suggestively, bumping Silver with his elbow playfully. Silver involuntarily rolled his eyes. But something inside him seemed to be urging him on.
"When and where is it?" Silver asked, the monotone voice he had lifting slightly. The slightest bit of emotion had managed to slip into him. This tiny bit of feelings managed to overwhelm him. He couldn't understand what the feeling was, but it was somewhat pleasant. It felt like a voice was calling distantly from the void in his head, telling him to go.
"It'll be in Amy's backyard, at around.. 3PM to like, 9 or something today. Really it depends on her," Sonic shrugged his shoulders. "Think you can come?"
"Not like I have anything else to do, so sure,"
"Great! Uh.. see you then?" He flashed a thumbs up. "Oh! By the way, I think you'll like this person. I'll introduce you tonight," Sonic said, then sped away.
Silver's heart suddenly started beating faster, pounding loudly in his chest. His face started to get warmer and warmer. Was this… nervousness? Was he finally feeling something? After so long of just nothingness.. now he could feel. It was such a small feeling, simply insignificant to anyone else. But to him, he felt breathless. He couldn't comprehend why this certain event had triggered such a reaction.. but he wasn't going to take it for granted. He wanted to feel more.
He checked his wall clock, to see it was 2PM already! Silver sighed, for someone who was so fast, he had a knack for being late. Silver had to get ready quickly! He didn't want to miss this event that had sparked his first emotions in forever.
Silver ran to his bathroom, finally showering after weeks of avoiding it. He hadn't cared then, but now he had the motivation. The water running through his fur felt so refreshing, energizing him.
He dried up, then brushed his teeth, trying to freshen up his breath. He combed through his chest fur and tried to style the fur on his head. He wanted to look good for this mystery person Sonic had in mind. He wondered if a bow tie would be too much, but figured he wanted to go all out today. He sprayed a bit of cologne, adjusted his bow tie one last time, and then he was ready.
Silver glanced at himself in the mirror, seeing his amber eyes had managed to brighten up a lot. His fur was no longer all unkempt and matted, instead carefully brushed and smooth. He was glowing, inside and out.
Silver checked his clock, it being 2:45PM. Great, he still had 25 minutes! More than enough time for him. He felt so excited to go to this picnic. He didn't know what was different about today, but he loved it. He felt good. He hoped this feeling would last.
-----
Silver had flown all the way to Amy's house. It wasn't a great distance away, but it still had exhausted his powers. He landed abruptly, accidentally releasing his powers earlier than he wanted to in his anticipation. He was launched to the ground at a fast pace.
Silver braced himself for the hit onto the cement walkway, closing his eyes tight as tight as possible, only to be met with a gentle, warm hold. He opened his eyes to see a lilac colored cat, who had just saved him from that painful impact.
He gasped in sync with the cat. She was the exact color of the person that would pop up randomly in his head. He studied the depths of her eyes, her sharing the same honey yellow gaze he did. She placed him down carefully, staring back at him.
Silver felt that hole inside him that had tortured him for so long, slowly start to fill. He didn't even know her name, but just seeing her and feeling her presence had managed to make him explode with emotions. Her aura felt so familiar yet so foreign.
"..Hi," Silver greeted her shyly, one of his hands starting to scratch the back of his head nervously. "I'm Silver," he gulped, hoping she didn't think bad of him, especially after such an embarrassing fall.
"Hello.. I'm Blaze," she fidgeted with her fingers, her eyes lowering to stare at the ground. The air around them was so tense, yet bursting with feelings.
"Oh, hey, Silver and Blaze! See you two met each other before I could introduce you!" Sonic swooped in, saving them from their awkwardness, with his hands full of food supplies. "I'm kind of busy right now, but good to see you two together!" Then he left as fast as possible.
"Why don't we head to the backyard?" Silver asked, stepping out of his comfort zone. Blaze had awoken something inside him. He couldn't let her get away. She caused this inside him, and he couldn't let her go. He felt connected to her, like they were destined to be together.
"S..sure," Silver impulsively took her hand, holding her hand tight yet gentle in his grip. He didn't realize what he was doing, just wanting her close to him. Blaze was shocked, but she didn't stop him.
-----
They had grabbed a blanket from Amy and laid it down onto the grass. They each had a bottle of water. The smell of grilled burgers and hotdogs filled the air. Chit chat consumed the area. Silver didn't know how to start chit chat with Blaze, even as he watched all his friends just strike up conversations with random people.
"So.." Silver started, but trailed off as he didn't know what to say. He didn't know why he stayed with her. Why he brought her back here and sat with her. He was just drawn to her. And she seemed to be too.
"I'm gonna be honest.. I don't know what to say," he chuckled nervously. But then he saw Blaze giggle a little. His heart jerked, his face consumed by blush once again.
"I too… don't know what to say," she said, smiling softly. She looked so beautiful to him.. her silky lavender fur shining brightly, her wondrous eyes that held such emotion.. everything was breathtaking.
"You know.. we only just met.. but I feel like I want to tell you everything.." Silver said, sounding distant as if trapped in his thoughts. He was struggling to recall the memories he could've had with her. It couldn't be just a coincidence, considering the sudden change in his mental state because of her. That purple color consumed his mind, yet he could not pull up anything. They were so close, yet so far from him.
"Haha.. strangely, me too.." she trailed off, her voice almost trembling. Her voice was so gentle and soft, but Silver felt as if it held a hidden fierceness and power.
"Ok.. then here's a question. Where were you, emotionally, before this picnic?" Silver blurted out. "I..I mean, only if you want to answer,"
"No no, it's okay," she reassured. "Before this picnic… I felt empty.. like there was something missing.." Silver's eyes widened in surprise. "ha.. it feels weird, but also natural to share this with you.."
Silver paused. "That's exactly how I felt before this picnic too! But as soon as Sonic came around to tell me about it, it was like something came over me. I was so excited to go to this, after years of feeling dull,"
"Maybe we're meant to be," Blaze joked, though he could feel in her words that she meant it seriously. He spotted her delicate hand laying on the blanket. His own hand was just inching closer, preparing himself to just take the risk.
"Maybe.." Silver breathed out softly, gently but swiftly grabbing Blaze's hand. She turned her head to face him, a look of shock upon her face. But she relaxed a bit, and squeezed his hand. Silver gave her a small smile, a light pink brushing his cheeks.
"You know.. it feels like I know you. But I know that can't be possible.." Blaze started. "Like it feels like there's memories missing from my brain," Blaze told him, as she was subconsciously slowly inching closer to Silver's body.
"It's kind of spooky, haha. I keep feeling the same things you do," Silver laughed. "It's so strange, but it's not like I don't like it.. in fact.. I think I love it," he smirked mischievously. Blaze became increasingly red, and hid her face in her free hand.
The two of them had had unknowingly gotten incredibly close to one another. They had been talking for just a few minutes now, yet they felt so inseparable.
-----
The bright blue sky had started to fade into a vibrant orange and pink, the sun falling away as the moon slowly crept in as time passed. Him and Blaze had laid down together on the blanket, still holding each other's hand. Everyone was gathered together, chatting quietly, most watching the sky. The two of them were more far away, in their own little corner of the yard.
"The sky looks so beautiful.." Blaze watched in awe. The two of them hadn't gone out much, a sunset was pretty strange to them.
"..Like you.." Silver whispered, just barely loud enough for Blaze to hear. He glanced over at her, to see her cheeks growing redder. He smiled tenderly, feeling love fill his heart. He'd never felt love before, but it felt familiar. He loved the feeling of love.
Blaze turned to her side, grabbing onto Silver's arm, basically hugging it. She rubbed her head against his fur, cozying up to him. He turned his head to stare into her eyes, to see her eyes filled with love. It felt so intimate.
Silver turned over as well, so they were face to face. His face was gradually getting closer and closer to hers, as he used his free hand to crable her face fondly.
Blaze then closed the gap between them, lips collapsed together. Silver closed his eyes, deepening the kiss they shared.
Suddenly, everything made sense.
The memories rushed into his head, each one flashing as he remembered each and everyone of them.
This was Blaze. The Blaze he worked with to beat Iblis. The Blaze he knew so well. The Blaze that sacrificed herself for him. The Blaze that he loved.
"...It's you," he whispered once they had finally separated. Tears formed in his eyes, unable to comprehend his reality. "I… I thought I would never see you again.." he said as the tears fell.
"Oh Silver, you're so naive.. didn't I tell you we would meet again?" she chuckled as her own tears began to spill.
"I love you, Blaze.."
"I love you too, Silver."
silvaze! love this ship! hope you like the art! <3
please enjoy this little fanfic i wrote!
Another day, another feeling of heartache for Marinette. Almost everyday now she would see Adrien and Kagami together, always looking so close. Marinette was starting to think maybe she should get over Adrien. Give someone else a chance. She hated the way she felt everyday, always feeling miserable and jealous and holding back feelings of anger. She didn't hate either of them. It just hurt to see Adrien with another girl. Especially after all the time she'd put into him.
Marinette walked into school, her back slouched over and dark bags under her eyes from crying all night. Alya quickly rushed over to Marinette.
"Hey, girl, what's up? You don't look so good," Alya threw her arm around Marinette, trying to comfort the poor girl.
Marinette had to hold back tears. She felt kind of silly, feeling so upset over a boy.
"Well.. it's about Adrien," Alya's eyebrows perked up in interest. "Basically, going to his fencing matches and seeing him with Kagami.. it just really hurts. I just kinda know that he'll never like me back." A stray tear slipped from her unusually dull eyes, but Marinette quickly wiped the tear away, not wanting Alya to see her cry.
"Oh, Marinette.." Alya pulled her into a tight hug, caressing her carefully as if she was fragile. She pulled away after a few seconds, then put her hands on her shoulder and looking intensely into Marinette's eyes.
"Mari, you don't deserve to be hurt like this. You deserve a guy who will recognize the amazing girl that you are. As nice as Adrien is, he is incredibly dense,"
"But I don't think I can move on so fast.. I really like Adrien. I really do," Marinette sighed.
"I understand, girl. But for now, let's get to class.." Alya put her arm around Mari again, and they walked to class.
-----
When Marinette and Alya took a seat, Nino shared a worried look with Alya. "Dudette, are you good? What's wrong?" Nino whispered.
"It's about Adrien.." Was all Marinette had to say for Nino to understand. Of course Nino would know all about his bro and Kagami. He didn't think that their relationship would affect Mari this much. Luckily Adrien wasn't here yet to hear this exchange.
"Oh dude.. I'm sorry.." Nino sympathized, feeling quite worried about her mental state right now. She didn't look so great.
The conversation had to end soon, as Adrien walked into class just then. Nino gave Marinette one last glance, trying to comfort her, and turned around.
"Hey, Nino," Adrien waved, taking his seat next to him.
"Hey, dude," the two shared a fist bump like they did every morning. Adrien took a look back to see a depressed Marinette.
"Nino, is Marinette okay? What happened?" He leaned close to his bro as to hide what he was saying from the girls behind him.
"Sorry dude.. I don't think I should say.." Nino shrugged and got out his work for class.
Adrien looked at Marinette, confusion filling him. He didn't enjoy such vagueness. Ladybug did this to him sometimes too. He hated it. He was worried about Marinette. She was his friend. Shouldn't he have a right to know?
Marinette could barely look at Adrien. His adorable green eyes filled with worry just hurt her heart even more. She covered her eyes with her bangs, wanting to avoid meeting his gaze. She buried her face into Alya's shoulder, unable to control her tears. Alya held her gently, quietly reassuring her.
Adrien was so confused, worried, and kinda angry that his friends were keeping him out of the loop. He just turned around to focus for class. He hoped it would clear up later, and that Marinette was okay.
-----
It was time for patrol. She was dreading this. She knew Cat Noir would be able to pick up her sadness. He was very persistent and she didn't want to talk about it. But she had a duty to the city.
"Marinette, why don't you take a break for today?" Tikki squeaked, flying up to her holder's face. "You can just transform to tell Cat Noir that you won't be coming!"
"I don't want to leave Cat Noir alone. He shouldn't have to patrol the whole city by himself," Marinette pet Tikki's head softly. "But thanks, Tikki. Don't worry though, I'll be fine. Maybe patrolling will clear my head."
"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette yelled out, being enveloped in a pink light, and then being covered in her Ladybug suit. She climbed up out onto her balcony and swung away.
-----
She met up with Cat Noir at their usual meeting spot. "Hey, kitty," she said, sounding less enthusiastic than normal.
"Hello, m'lady," he bowed deeply, before taking a seat next to her on the top of the building. He observed her carefully, noticing her bluebell eyes looking so lifeless. Her posture slouched.
"Are you okay, Ladybug?" he asked. Her mood was reminiscent of Marinette from earlier. "Did something happen?"
"It's probably silly," Ladybug laughed dryly. "It's just about a boy. He getting closer with someone else, and it kind of hurts," She was surprised she shared that to him.
"Sorry. I know you have feelings for me. I don't mean to hurt you," Cat Noir suddenly pulled her into a hug. But she didn't pull away. She felt comfortable. She felt better. She felt... loved.
After what felt like forever, Cat Noir pulled away. Ladybug could feel the heat building up in her cheeks. Maybe Cat Noir wasn't the worst person to love.
"Thanks, k..kitty.." she stammered over her words, feeling embarrassed. A familiar warm feeling was filling her heart. The heartache from earlier seemed to be slowly ebbing away, being replaced by that warm feeling. She couldn't describe it. But it felt nice.
Cat Noir could see the blush forming on her cheeks. The life coming back into her eyes. Had he done that? It made him blush too. She looked adorable, and the fact that she appeared to be warming up to him made him love her even more.
Ladybug could basically see the hearts forming in his viridescent glowing eyes. She could feel her heart beating in her chest. Her face must've been as red as her suit, as she felt very hot. She gulped nervously, seeing Cat Noir's mischievous grin. Maybe it was time to get over Adrien. Maybe it was time to give a chance. She could feel herself slowly getting closer to Cat Noir. Now there was only a gap of a few inches.
She quickly closed the gap between them, their lips meeting. Ladybug couldn't help herself. Cat Noir couldn't either. At first, he was taken aback by Ladybug's actions. But he wasn't going to take it for granted. He pushed against her lips too, loving every moment they were spending. He placed a hand on her face, caressing her pink cheek gently. She had placed a hand in his messy hair, ruffling it up even more. They were both in heaven. This was bliss.
When they finally pulled away after being basically inseparable. They were breathing heavily, their foreheads leaning against each other as their eyes stared into one another's.
"I..I love you, Cat Noir,"
"I love you too, Ladybug."
So this is Raiden, or Radar x Aiden. It is a rare ship. It was for a Valentine's event on MCSM amino! I go by mystic doggo on amino! :) Please enjoy!
Radar was running around Beacontown, doing errands for the people. Jesse was out, leaving Radar in charge until he came back. He was exhausted, his nimble legs aching. He couldn't understand how Jesse did this every single day.
He saw the gates opening, and his eyes lit up, thinking Jesse had come back. But all he saw was a guy in a leather jacket, with neatly combed hair and viridescent eyes, With Jesse standing next to him. He could tell the man next to Jesse was nervous, as he was fiddling around with his fingers, something Radar did often.
Radar figured Jesse would want a report of the day, so he zoomed right over, a clipboard in hand.
“Hey, Radar,” he waved, a smile dawning across his face.
“H..Hey, Jesse, wh-who is this?” he scratched his head, and pushed his glasses up to his nose bridge.
“This is Aiden. I just brought him back from Sky City. He's been released from the jail there! His friends are with Lukas, but they'll be coming here soon!”
“A..Aiden?!” he exclaimed. He had heard many stories about Aiden from The Order. They talked about all the bad things he’d done. Radar suddenly felt a bit queasy, but he trusted Jesse. So he faked a smile, sweating a bit.
“Hey, nice to meet you,” Aiden held out his hand, his posture stiff and unmoving, but his eyes held a genuine kindness. He shook his hand, a bit too quickly.
“It's nice to meet you too!” he squeaked, feeling light-headed. He felt the adrenaline from the anxiety start to wear away, and he felt the exhaustion come back. He started to fall over, but Aiden was quick to catch him.
“Whoa, Radar, are you okay?” Jesse asked, as Aiden picked Radar up into his arms.
“I..I'm just tired, hehe,” he reassured. Aiden carried Radar over to a few blocks of wool, laying him down carefully. Radar was incredibly embarrassed, his face growing red. He felt better though, laying down on the wool.
“Thank you,” he muttered, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Aiden just shrugged, smiling softly. Maybe Aiden wasn't as bad as the stories said.
i am so tired and my eyes are swollen lmao so have this piece i wrote pretty quickly but i still like it kind of??? enjoy!! it is female!jesse x petra btw!! :>>
Jesse placed the last block on the statue she was building. She took a couple steps back, her hand stroking her chin as she studied her build tediously, looking for any possible mistakes. She was so lost in her statue, she hadn't noticed Petra had sneaked up on her.
“Boo!” Petra roared, jumping in front of Jesse's view. Jesse fell to the ground, letting out a little yelp of surprise. “Haha! Got you!” she boasted, lifting out her hand to Jesse while still chuckling. Jesse rolled her eyes playfully and took Petra's hand. “What are you building?” Petra asked, leaning on the side of the statue.
“Something for my town. As you can see, I'm kind of busy,” she answered, searching through her inventory for the right material. Petra's eyes grew a bit dim, and Jesse immediately felt bad. She knew everyone was busy, Axel, Olivia. Lukas… They didn't have to time to hang, and even if Petra didn't say anything now, she could still see in her eyes the loneliness and longing. She sighed, tearing her gaze away from her work. “Well.. You know I'll always have time for you,” she added, winking teasingly. Petra blushed a light red, but she buried her face into her hands.
“Come on, let's go explore!” Jesse said, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the gates of Beacontown. She saw Petra's eyes start to light up again, a warm feeling in her heart. “I'll race you!” she giggled, as she started sprinting.
“Hey, no fair! I wasn't prepared!” Petra scolded jokingly. Though Jesse did have a head start, Petra was gaining up on her. When Petra did finally pass Jesse, she gave her a wink and dashed away. Her already pounding heart somehow got faster, and she nearly tumbled after that distraction. She shook it off and kept on going.
They came to an abrupt stop when there was a deep hole right in front of them. They glanced at one other, giving each other a knowing smirk. They leaped down the deep, dark hole, enjoying the fall. They landed carefully, though Jesse still fell on her face. Petra snorted, doubling over with laughter. Even though her face hurt terribly, to see Petra laughing, that was all that mattered.
“Ready to explore?”
“You bet I am.”
So I wrote this really late at night so it's not the best but I was really nervous last night for no reason so I needed something to relax so here you guys go! Enjoy! It's Male!Jesse x Lukas btw.
Lukas let out a yawn, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He had stayed up all night working on his book. He looked outside to see the sun coming up already, and he sighed, knowing he had things to do. He closed the book and just laid in bed, just trying to relax for a bit. Then he heard a soft knock at his door. He pulled himself out of bed reluctantly. Nobody usually visited him. He opened the door to be surprised with Jesse.
“Jesse! What are you doing here so early in the morning?” he greeted and invited him inside.
“Oh, I just wanted to come down and see you. I guess I didn't really think about the time,” Jesse said, his tone a bit jittery as if he was hiding something. “I was lucky you were awake,”
“Well, I'm really glad to see you. I know we don't have much time now a days to hang out, so these little moments are always great,” Lukas smiled, giving him a small hug. He sat down on the ground, Jesse following suit and taking a place next to him.
“How's your book going?” Jesse asked, curiosity evident in his voice.
“Glad you asked. It's actually going really good so far, just needing a few revisions, and I'm hoping to add at least six more chapters,” he looked proud of his work, his blue eyes beaming.
“I can't wait until it's finished. It'll be a great read, Lukas,” he praised, Lukas becoming a bit flustered and uttered a ‘thanks.’ Jesse opened his mouth to say more, but closed it shut right after. He looked nervous, continuously fidgeting and scratching his head.
“Jesse, you look kind of off. You know you can tell me anything, right?” he reassured, patting his back. Jesse gave him a weak smile of gratitude.
“Well, I just really missed you. I just don't know what to say anymore. It's weird,” he admitted, his face growing pink. “I mean, not that I'm uncomfortable around you, hehe,” he added on quickly. Lukas raised an eyebrow at him, knowing that's not the whole truth. Jesse's eyes darted around the quaint little house anxiously, as he began to sweat.
“Uh.. Well. I guess I kind of like you?” he looked like he was about to die. Lukas froze for a second, then ‘very intelligently’ answered.
“Well, I like you too! You're my best friend!” Which received a facepalm from Jesse. Confused, Lukas tilted his head.
“Gosh, why do you have to be so cute?” Jesse whispered to himself, not so quietly. He immediately froze, smiling fakely in embarrassment. Lukas then understood what he meant earlier, turning a dark red.
“Haha.. you really think that way, huh?” Lukas teased, trying to play it off but failing miserably. “I guess me too?”
Jesse nearly fell over while sitting down. Incredible.
“You do?” he was very excited, but still had a bright pink dusting his cheeks.
“...Yeah.. yeah I do. Oh my gosh, I do!” Lukas didn't even realize he felt this way. He was freaking out in his sudden awareness of his feelings.
“Great!” Jesse threw his arms around Lukas, laughing at his reaction. Lukas managed to chill out a bit, hugging him back. Impulsively, he brought his face closer to Jesse's, their faces just inches apart.
They were very red, and very, very awkward.
“Umm, sorry..?” Lukas said.
Jesse just laughed slightly, then closed the gap between them, their lips colliding. Lukas' eyes widened, then closed slowly as he deepened the kiss.
After what felt like eternity, they seperated.
“Should I put this in the book or-”
“No please don't.”
so i used to be apart of the cringe culture. i only did because i was part of the 'cringy' fandoms like fnaf and undertale, even mlp and minecraft. i was like 9, just got a phone. i was gullible and followed the mainstream ideas. even now it's still stuck with me. i used to bully people because their art was bad or if they liked something. i remember i even went after a 7 year old, and now i wish i could take it back. i knew what i was doing; i was just desperate to have friends. it's hard to get over such a toxic mindset. a majority of people who participate in cringe culture are teens and kids who want to be liked. the only cringy things are toxic fans, those who attack others for differing opinions. i did that shit too. i now am hopefully getting over that phase of hatred. i now love shit like miraculous, minecraft, minecraft story mode, warriors, all that stuff. this stuff helps people get through things. i personally got through a lot of stuff because of minecraft and miraculous. moral of the story, like what you want, don't listen to what others think of it. just don't be toxic either. i understand i still have this mindset and as long as you recognize what's wrong and try to change that's great!! let people make ocs, let them make rainbow ponies. you can critique, but not criticize. love urself!!
a lot of people want adrien to be more distant to gabriel or whatever with these headcanons, for some adrien angst. i would much rather gabriel try to fix the relationship. while he is neglectful, he can repair it. he loves adrien, and adrien loves gabriel. gabriel can become a better father and person. it doesn't change what he did, but adrien deserves a caring father, and i hope the show will progress their relationship, like they did in gorizilla or something like that.
Marinette crossed her arms, anger stirring in her mind. Alya was angry as well, waiting for Marinette to say something. When she stayed silent, she decided to take the conversation into her hands.
“Marinette, what is your problem? You're so rude to Lila! Calling her a liar with no proof!” Alya growled, throwing her hands around to express her frustration. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she formed a glare upon her face. Marinette was holding back the flames inside her. She couldn't actually prove Lila was a liar without revealing her identity. But the lies that girl spat out were all ridiculous. She couldn't understand how anyone believed them. She had Adrien by her side, which did make her feel a bit more relieved. But they weren't doing anything to stop Lila. Just watching her downfall. Yet there had been no downfall for Lila. She was thriving. It seemed that her plans to take her friends away were succeeding. She bit her lip in her attempts to hold back the stream of tears from bursting. She dug her nails into her arms as she tried to calm down. One glance at Alya set her off.
“You don't understand, Alya! She's obviously a liar! She uses lies to get attention and get what she wants! She wants Adrien! She wants people to serve her!” she practically screamed as the tears escaped. Her words weren't sadly not as persuasive as Lila's, and Alya clenched her fist. She still didn't believe her.
“It's all because of Adrien! That's what this is all about!” she scoffed, disgusted. Marinette was hurt, placing a hand over her chest. She somehow thought it was all about jealousy? “Girl, get a grip! You don't own Adrien!”
“You still think this is about jealousy? I guess you forgot about Kagami,” she snarled, and Alya looked down to the floor in shame. She had remembered, of course. She chuckled at that. Her best friend didn't know her as well as she thought. “I obviously know I don't own Adrien. I don't hate Lila because of Adrien, I hate her because of all the lies!”
“You still have no proof! Show me the evidence that she's lying!” She placed her hands on her hips, waiting for her answer. She was put into a sticky situation. She had plenty of proof! She just couldn't reveal it. She hated her secret identity sometimes. In times like this where it would benefit her greatly. She guaranteed Alya would believe her if she confronted her as Ladybug, she thought bitterly. She loved Ladybug. Imagine her reaction when she found out she had been Ladybug this whole time?
“Where's your proof, hmm? You're a reporter, shouldn't you fact check everything you post? But no, you just eat up her lies and spread it everywhere,” Marinette shook her head, disappointed. Alya didn't have anything to say, knowing she was right. “I'm leaving. You clearly don't know me enough. Bye,” she waved her goodbye, and walked out of the empty classroom. She was glad Alya hadn't followed her. She didn't even realize she was still crying. She wiped her eyes, sniffing. Tikki opened the purse slightly, to glimpse at her chosen. She sighed, feeling her owner's pain.
Marinette walked down the steps, and headed toward her house, which was just across the street. When she entered the bakery, she hid her face, hoping to cover her red eyes. She didn't say anything either, just wanting to get into her room. Alya was her best friend, and it hurt to fight with her like that. But she kept ignoring her, telling her she had no proof. She couldn't stay silent when there was injustice in her class. Alya had fallen for her, just like basically everyone else.
The next morning, she woke up late, like always. Her eyes felt swollen and when she looked in the mirror, she groaned when she saw what a mess she was. She tried her best to clean herself up, brushing her hair into pigtails, though some stray pieces sprung up. She had dark circles, and she sadly didn't have any makeup to cover it up. You'd think someone who was so into fashion would have at least some eyeshadow, but nope. She just shrugged, and did the best she could with what she had. She looked terrible, but not as much as before.
She grabbed her purse and backpack, and headed down stairs. She passed the counter, to grab a cookie for Tikki. She simply waved to her parents’ as she left for school. Tom and Sabine exchange a look, worrying for their daughter. They'd ask her what was wrong after school.
She really didn't want to go to school, but she was obliged to. She tried looking to the bright side, thinking ‘you didn't get akumatized!’ or ‘there's no akuma battle!’ but honestly she wished for an akuma to avoid school. She dreaded sitting next to Alya. She gulped as she turned the doorknob to her classroom, to see Nino in her seat once again. Yet again, they changed the seats without her. She tensed up as she passed Lila, who was sitting with Adrien again. She was so touchy, leaning against him. She saw his discomfort. She pitied him, and she was reaching a breaking point. She hated the eyes that studied her grouchy form. They held an anger, an anger that was bigger than yesterday. Of course Alya told everyone what happened. She seemed seemed comfort in Adrien, but he was busy with Lila. She knew Adrien didn't need to make her feel better, but she felt so alone. She shamefully took her seat in the back. Her lip quivered slightly, the tears threatening to spill. She took a deep breath, relaxing herself. Everything would be fine. Right?
She was listening to Ms. Bustier as she taught, when she felt a paper hit her head. Dazed, she lost what the teacher was saying. There was a crumpled paper laying on the desk, and she opened it up carefully. It read:
“Bully! Don't treat Lila like that again!”
She slammed her fist against the desk impulsively. She was seething, flames dancing in her blue eyes. “Who threw this at me?” She helped up the paper.
“Marinette, don't disrupt the lesson please!” Ms. Bustier warned, but she just ignored her. She couldn't care less about the trouble she could get in. She caught sight of Lila's smirk, and shivers soared through her spine. She was taking pleasure at her pain!
“It was me. You just needed a reminder,” Kim said smugly. “You better not treat her like that again!” he threatened, and Marinette laughed dryly. She tossed the paper back at him, and he blocked it with his hand. She looked to Adrien again, to see his begging eyes to not expose Lila. That just fueled her rage. He didn't understand what was happening! Lila was ruining her relationships, her reputation! Why did she have to care for her?
“Lila is a liar! You are all just too dumb to see through her blatant cries for attention!” she yelled out, unable to keep the words from spilling out of her mouth. The class gasped, then glared at her. She didn't react. She didn't care what they thought. Except for Adrien. She told herself she didn't care what he thought, but she really did. And the disappointment on his face was burned into her mind. She felt out of breath, anxiety clawing at her stomach. “Y..you guys can't see it..?” she asked desperately, looking around the room. She suddenly felt so small. They were all judging her. They towered over her, the glares piercing her. Lila's smile shattered her mind. Salt water poured down her cheeks, but they felt no sympathy. She felt the room start to spin, all of her classmates faces surrounding her. She had to get out of this classroom! Get away from their faces!
She ran to the door, then tripped on her own foot. She could barely lift herself back up, as the sobs racked her body. Adrien was the only one to come to her aid. But she refused him. He was just going to shun her like everyone else. She shoved him away, and ran out the door.
“Marinette!” he cried out, but she was already too far away. He figured she needed some time to relax, so he gave up chasing after her. He just hoped she would be okay. His stomach twisted when her crying face flashed into his head. He couldn't help but feel guilty. But she tried to expose Lila. They had agreed not to do so, but she did anyway. She would be ok, surely. She was a strong girl. She would come back to her senses. He took his seat next to Lila, to see her fake crying.
“O..oh, Marinette is so mean!” she wiped a fake tear away from her eye, soaking up all the pity from them. He didn't agree with it, but he put up with it. She would bring herself down eventually. “I can't believe she would say those terrible, terrible things! You guys don't believe her, right?”
The whole class shook their heads violently, except Adrien. He just awkwardly shook his head. He didn't want to look bad either.
“Oh, I'm so glad I have you guys! Marinette reminds me of my old bullies, at my old school. They always tried to come after me, because they were jealous,” Adrien realized she was trying to turn them all against Marinette. This wasn't good. She was lying about the ‘old bullies’. Adrien understood that Lila's lies were not harmless. His friend was suffering. He cursed under his breath because he hadn't seen it sooner.
“I'm going to check on Marinette,” he blurted and he ran out of the classroom. He heard the grumbles of Lila, and whispers from the class as he left, but he needed to make sure she was okay.
She sat on the toilet, sobbing into her hands. Tikki was trying her best to soothe Marinette, petting her head. All her attempts were useless. She was incredibly upset, more than ever before. They hated her. They hated her and replaced her with the new girl.
“Marinette, you need to calm down! You might attract an akuma!” she reminded her of the dangers, and she seemed to relax a tad. But it was too late to warn her about akumas, for one was flapping into the stall. She brushed all her emotions aside, facing the akuma head on.
“Marinette, are you in here?” Adrien's voice beckoned her, and she reluctantly left the stall. He saw the akuma fluttering away, and his eyes widened with fear. “Watch out!”
“Adrien, it's fine! I fought it off,” she placed her hands on his shoulders, trying to get some sense into him. He was speechless, his green eyes darting back and forth between her and the akuma.
“You.. fought… off.. the akuma?!” he repeated her words, utter disbelief filling his words. She nodded, then walked past him. She needed to purify the akuma, before it akumatized someone else.
“Sorry Adrien. I have to do something real quick,” she rushed out of the bathroom, leaving a confused and amazed boy alone. She reached a good distance away from him, and transformed. She spotted the akuma trying to get away, but she caught it with her yo-yo. The anxiety she didn't even know was there lifted as the white butterfly flew out. She breathed a sigh of relief, and she released her transformation. Now it was time to get back in class. Yay. She felt better now though. Tikki’s good vibes spread through her body when she transformed. She pet her head as she headed to class.
“Marinette! How did you fight off that akuma? What did you have to do?” Adrien ran up to her, wanting answers. She was pleasantly surprised when she didn't feel any nervousness or her mind turning to mush. She was just.. normal.
“I just did. And what I had to do was inform a certain bug to come take care of the akuma,” She winked at him, and kept walking to class. It wasn't far from the truth. She really didn't know how she rejected the akuma, and she did inform herself to purify the akuma. She just left some details out. Adrien still couldn't wrap his around it, but just relaxed and followed her back to class.
They entered the class, the door slamming against the wall. Marinette was still mad at them. A silence filled the once chatting classroom. They all watched her as she headed back to her seat, her posture full of confidence. They didn't deserve her kindness. She quaintly sat down in her seat, acting oblivious to the class. Adrien just slipped into his seat, feeling very, very awkward. He knew that he wouldn't let the class gang up on Marinette again though.
A fake sob was let out, and all eyes returned to Lila. Guess she couldn't handle not being the center of attention for a few seconds. “Marinette, why would you say such terrible things?”
“Yeah!”
“What's wrong with you?”
“We want answers, Marinette!”
The class boomed. Marinette remained unfazed, but inside she was fighting off her feelings of anger. She had to keep calm. She breathed deeply before responding.
“I just said the truth,” she said nonchalantly, leaning back into her seat. “Which is something Lila doesn't seem to do,” she added, Adrien holding his tongue. He saw Lila fuming angrily until she saw him looking. She faked sadness again, and he just rolled his eyes.
“What do you mean? Lila's not a liar!” Nino confronted Marinette, standing up from his seat. Marinette was wondering what Ms. Bustier was doing, but she didn't seem to be here. Oh well. All the better for her. “Yeah, Marinette. She's not a liar,” Alya defended Lila, and helping her boyfriend. She placed a hand on his shoulder, supporting him. She tried not to get angry, seeing her best friend putting her boyfriend before her. She didn't own Alya. She could have her own opinions. She repeated the words in her head.
“I'm sorry guys, but Marinette is right,” Adrien finally spoke up. Nino and Alya gasped, now confused. Marinette couldn't help the smirk that formed on her face. Adrien was at last helping her. The oblivious boy was learning! She loved the face Lila made, as if she had been betrayed. She was a good actor, but not good enough to fool her.
She had set her phone to ring automatically, so she could step out and transform. Lila needed some discipline. Ladybug had the proof she needed to show that she was right. She knew Adrien could back Ladybug up too. He had been there with Volpina. She opened her purse to let Tikki fly out.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Tikki asked, worry filling his squeaky voice. She felt happy that her kwami was worrying, but she knew what she was doing. Lila had made her suffer too much. It was time for payback. The expression in her face reassured Tikki, and she dipped her head down in acceptance. The pink light flashed as Ladybug appeared.
Ladybug kicked open the door, entering the room with a bang. Literally. She studied the room, the air so tense you could chop it a knife. She sauntered to Lila, who was smiling fakely, her eyes showing her true emotions. “So, Lila. Is what Marinette telling me true?” she questioned, acting innocent. Alya was bewildered, wondering how Mari got Ladybug here. Nino was still upset over Adrien not speaking up earlier. They were bros! Chloe didn't really believe Lila, but didn't care about Marinette. Now this was interesting though. Adrien was shocked beyond belief. He was frozen. And also nervous. His lady was right there.
“No! Marinette is lying. She's jealous!” she said, a little too aggressively. Her façade was crumbling down quickly. She still tried to fake to Ladybug, unaware she was Marinette. Ladybug wasn't having it. She had a bored look on her face, and yawned for extra effect. She then slammed her foot on the desk, scaring Adrien out of his daze. Lila was scooting back, sweating profusely. It was amusing to see the girl so confident about her lies earlier, now cowering below her. It felt very satisfying. But she was never satisfied. At least not until she debunked each and every one of her lies.
“Sure, Volpina. Oops, I meant Lila,” she giggled, enjoying every second of this. “Alya, wasn't Volpina here on Heroes day?”
“Y..yes,”
“But I thought you were with Prince Ali's family? How can this be?” She leaned in closer to Lila. She was finally seeing the downfall of Lila. The moment she had been awaited. And it was even better then she'd imagine, because now she was the cause. She was the cause of her downfall.
But was this really the right way? She was being sadistic, taking joy in her pain. She was acting just like Lila. She had already done enough to prove she was a liar to everyone. She'd rather not stop down to Lila's level. “Lila, I would appreciate you telling the truth please. I wish you good luck!” She ran out the classroom, and swung away, to derail the class. She ran back as fast as she could.
She was out of breath when she appeared back in class, but the class was too absorbed in confronting Lila that they took no notice. They were really going at her. What did she expect? Her lies couldn't hold up forever.
“You lied to us?”
“Why did you do that?”
“Not cool!”
Marinette wanted to rub some salt in the wound. Not to Lila, but her classmates. “Guys, aren't you being too harsh? You're hurting her feelings,” she mimicked them, reminiscing on their own words. They lowered their heads in shame as they seemed to remember their idiotic actions.
She was now satisfied. Even if she had to deal with another akumatized Lila, she was done with her. She dug her own grave. Now it her time to sleep in it. She felt the slightest bit of pity, but she was constantly reminded of the threats she said to Marinette in the bathroom. She wanted to ruin her. It was simply was she deserved.
oops my hand slipped and made a whole one shot about this that somehow got angsty
Hawkmoth smacked his cane down in anger, as he watched his son call Marinette just a friend once more. He whacked his face with his hand, sighing at Adrien's obliviousness. He pitied the poor girl as her face put on a fake smile, when she was clearly heart broken because he couldn't see she loved him. There was nothing he could do, sadly, for he didn't want to akumatize her, since she would go after Adrien, therefore endangering him. So, he rubbed his chin while he was lost in thought. Then the idea hit him. If his ship wouldn't work in the real world, why not the fiction world?
“Nooroo, dark wings fall!” he shouted, his suit disappearing to be replaced with his civilian attire. He seemed eager for an odd reason, which made Nooroo tilt his head to the right slightly in confusion.
“Master, why are you so excited?” he asked innocently, his small, frail voice breaking the silence in the room. Gabriel looked at Nooroo, a smirk on his lips. The kwami felt uneasy, worrying for his owner's sanity.
“I am going to write fanfiction!” he declared loudly, making Nooroo jump at the booming noise. Gabriel walked to the elevator, as his kwami flew to his side as they ascended. Natalie was there, a tablet in her hand.
“Natalie, when Adrien gets home, tell him to come to my office,” he says dismissively, and heads to his office. He settles himself into his seat, and cracked his fingers in preparation for the typing that was about to ensue.
‘Adrien walked into the classroom, his eyes immediately darting to Marinette,’ was the first sentence he wrote. The rush he felt was invigorating. This was his world. Anything could happen. He chuckled evilily, continuing the writing. The clicking of the keys as his fingers swiftly tapped them, forming his wonderful story.
Adrien poked his head through the doorway cautiously. He was afraid he had stepped in at the wrong time, for he looked so busy as he clattered away. His suspicions were proven wrong, when his father had spoken.
“Adrien! My son!” he said, a strange energetic beat in his usually cold tone. Adrien raised an eyebrow, his green eyes studying him carefully. He looked a lot more happy and upbeat. “Come have a seat,” he invited, gesturing to the chairs in front of his desk.
“What did you need, father?” he was fiddling with his ring anxiously. Had he done something wrong? No, because he wouldn't be so.. weird if he had.
“I need you to stop calling Marinette ‘just a friend!’ It's ruining my ship!” he cried out, slamming his fist on the desk in a sudden burst of rage. Adrien was wondering if his father was okay. How did he know he called Marinette that? What was a ship?
“Father, what do you mean?” He was genuinely scared for his father's mental state. He knew he was messed up after his mother left, but not this bad! Was he going insane? Gabriel just folded his hands together cynically.
“I mean that you should realize you love her, and she loves you! So my shop can be canon!” he explained, and Adrien looked at Natalie, who was standing by the door, for help. Natalie simply shrugged. He was blushing furiously, his skin turning red. This caused Gabriel to smirk at him, mischief dancing in his eyes. Natalie was just a bystander. Who was trying not to yell at her boss for not seeing she loved him. Like father, like son.
“M..Marinette's just a f..friend!” he stammered nervously, squirming under his burning gaze. Then he placed his face into his hands, while holding back screams.
“Haha.. There's that famous line!” he laughed hysterically. Adrien wanted to get out of here. He felt Plagg pinch him. Plagg was with Gabriel. His chosen was so blind, just like everyone else. But this man was an exception. He knew how painful it was to watch them, all the awkwardness, flirting, and just plain idiocy. Until he realized, how did he know? Oh well, he was just glad someone agreed with him. He had to stop himself from phasing through his jacket and start ranting along with him.
“Son, you love her,” he got up out of his seat and wandered to Adrien's side. He placed his hands on his shoulders. “You have to see it!” he yelled, shaking him. “Please! I need Adrienette to be canon!”
“Um.. haha.. oh, beep beep! My miracu- I mean phone is ringing someone must be calling me!” he said flustered, as he ran out of the room. His father noticed the slip up, and the realization dawned on him. HE WAS CAT NOIR!!!! This made it all the more complicated. He loved Ladybug! But, this means Ladrien and Marichat and Ladynoir!! He squealed in delight, and started dancing in his office. Natalie could barely believe she loved this man.
“Sir, please calm down!” she received a crazed look from Gabriel as he ran out the room. She sighed, and pushed her glasses up.
“ADRIENETTE! LADRIEN! MARICHAT! LADYNOIR!” he shouted, then saw the flaw in his chanting. He didn't know who Ladybug was! Marinette and Ladybug were competing! He couldn't have that! So he decided to set out to reveal her identity.
He was standing in his hideout once more, as he was watching his akuma do its work. It was harmless, to avoid hurting Cat Noir, but it was agile and could get the miraculouses or reveal Ladybug's identity! Then the akuma threw Cat Noir far away. (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN I CLEARLY STATED NOT TO HURT HIM) The akuma also managed to grab one her earrings. Her transformation was fading, the pink light appearing as her suit dissipated. He caught a glimpse of her face without the mask, and gasped dramatically. It was Marinette! Yes! Now all his ships were canon!! He was jumping around in joy. He didn't care about the miraculous anymore. He made him drop it and revoked the akuma. Now that his ship was canon, he had decided to quit evil, for the sake of his son and his future daughter in law.
Ladybug was panicking as she lost one earring, but she got a grip on herself, and swung the yo-yo at the akuma. She was able to stop it before it hit them, because they were already de evilized. She was dazed, after losing one part of the miraculous and now the akuma was gone. She didn't even see Cat Noir come up.
“Oh my goodness.. Marinette?!” he screamed, for he had accidentally seen her face. THE GIRL HE LOVED WAS MARINETTE?!?!? She was brought back to reality when he screamed, and she had forgotten to collect the earring. Her blue eyes widened in shock, and she started running around wildly. She just revealed her identity. NOOOO!!
“M’lady..” he breathed, unable to comprehend what happened. She wasn't any better, if not worse. She quickly grabbed the remaining part of her miraculous in order to hide her face again. She also remembered that THE AKUMA VICTIM WAS STILL HERE!! She picked up the guy, and lowered them down to the ground. She was distraught, but she had a job to do.After, she returned to Cat Noir.
“So, yeah, I am Marinette. Surprise?” she admitted, her brave attitude she had as Ladybug now breaking away to show her Marinette. Now that he knew, he could see the similarities. Her sense of justice, her confidence, her kindness. He saw it all.
“I just can't believe, that the girl who say behind me was you..” he said mindlessly. She stiffened and placed her hands on her heads.
“ADRIEN?!?!” she shrieked, and he placed his hand over his mouth at his mistake. She had reverted back to freaking out.
Hawkmoth was proud. He had finally united the two. He left the lair, a happiness he hadn't felt in a long time in his heart. He was happy his son had finally found his love. He looked to Nooroo.
“Nooroo. Thank you for assisting me. But I will no longer need you for I am giving up being a villain,” the kwami was swelling with pride and happiness. Though Gabriel could be terrible to him, they had unconsciously bonded each time he transformed. He flew away into the brooch, and was placed into the box. He looked at the painting of his wife. “I'm sorry, Emilie.. I love you..” he lowered his head. He missed her so much. But he had to focus on the future. He reached inside for the peacock miraculous.
“Son,” he called to Adrien, who was trying to sneak through the door with Marinette. He stopped in his tracks.
“Oh, h..hey father!” he grinned anxiously. He had been caught. His father had a warm smile upon his face. He went to Marinette, and placed the two boxes in her hands. They were unaware of what he was doing, and they exchange a look of questioning.
“I'm sorry, Adrien. I've been a terrible father. But return this to the guardian,” he said, right before giving him a tight hug. Adrien gasped, tears welling in his viridescent eyes. He returned the embrace, holding him. Marinette was nearly crying too. It was great his father had seen his wrongs. But what did he mean return to the guardian? She took a peek of what was inside.
There was the missing miraculouses. The butterfly and the peacock. “H..Hawkmoth?” she choked out. He nodded, guilt contorting his face. Adrien pulled away, and hurt filled his eyes.
“I understand if you hate me. I just wanted your miraculous to bring your mother back,” he turned to walk away, but Adrien grabbed his arm. Gabriel was afraid he would be angry, but he knew that what he had done was irredeemable.
“Father.. I forgive you,” he said, those words taking him surprise. “Me too,” Marinette added. He never thought they would accept it so well. After all, he had massacred the city so many times. Endangered thousands.
“You do?”
“Of course,” he smiled at him, tears flowing down his cheeks. He was just happy to get his father back. He missed the way he was before his mom was gone. He wanted her back. But he had his father and Marinette. And he was perfectly content with them.
“High school. The arena of teenage angst.”

adrigaminette (adrien+kagami+marinette) and like adrien and marinette get a small rivalry for kagami who is just so confused. alya is obviously cheering for mari while the sweet boy nino is conflicted because mari and adrien are both his friends and he wants to support both of his pals. with ladybug and cat noir they are always looking out for kagami, and fighting for who saves her. ladybug will give her a miraculous. (idk which one) then identity reveal blah blah then all three end up together. :D
