Books of the Week:
Mexican Gothic - Silvia Moreno-Garcia This one was a bit slow at first but the ideas at the end involving alchemical immortality and mushrooms are thought provoking.
Kudzu - The Vine to Love or Hate - by Roy W. Beck and W. L. Brantley
Kudzu Is edible and a potential biofuel.
Too funny Mattel and WB just pulled the greatest PR stunt of all time. Its like the Ocean 11 of Ad campaigns
I bet you a million dollars if I went back in time to like, idk, 2018, and I went around asking random ass people if Barbie was a feminist icon, a brand of feminist thought, a model of feminist thinking and the enlightened female, I bet you five billion dollars nobody would say shit about Barbie being fucking great, I guaran-fucking-tee you they would laugh at me for asking such a dumb fucking Neanderthal type question, I bet every educated female in a ten block radius would say you’ve gotta be one of the dimmest fucking men I have ever encountered, you goddamn troglodyte, Barbie is a sexy doll for young girls which radically destroys all chance of a normal body image, and her attempts at broadening her appeal to those who don’t fit the thin, pretty mold only throw into stark relief the damage the Barbie doll has done to every young girl since puberty, you absolute moron, there will never be a day when Barbie will be thought of as a free-thinking and actualized woman, and any attempt to make her into one will be seen as the soulless vapid re-brand that it truly, truly is.
Baby G as I call him
