Don't Maram Ashour's children deserve to live with dignity?

My other promotion lists

Note: I do not often make posts for campaigns I am not focusing on, and I won't be updating this. I encourage others to adopt this campaign (because I can't right now) and make sure it gets the traction it needs.

Summary: The Ashour family's 2 young children are traumatized as they've grown up knowing nothing but war. They all deal with inhospitable living conditions, but their youngest daughter (9 months old) is particularly at risk of disease (like polio) as she was born during displacement and received inadequate healthcare and vaccinations.

Current progress:

£ 1,826 / 25,000

Campaign/family details:

This campaign involves Maram Ashour, her husband, and their 2 young children Amir (3 years old) and Hoor (9 months old)

Funds are used for evacuation so the family can live a peaceful, dignified life.

The family live in a cloth tent that provides inadequate protection from the elements. My note: Many Gazans worry about the approaching cold weather.

Food is scarce whereas disease and insects are plentiful.

The family were displaced south of Gaza to the city of Deir al-Balah. During this, Maram had a difficult pregnancy and childbirth. Hoor was born in December.

She received inadequate birth healthcare and vaccinations. My note: This puts her at risk of polio like many other Gazan babies, which can be lethal.

Both children's lives are accompanied by constant bombing and explosions. Amir is terrified by them and has intense crying attacks when he hears them.

Maram asks "Don't my children have the right to live with dignity in a healthy environment and a stable life like the rest of the world's children?"

I'm sorry for what I'm about to ask, but we are suffering, dying, and going hungry in broad daylight, in front of the entire world.

For the sake of my children and their safety, I ask for your support by reposting our pinned story on my page or by donating whatever you can.

My wife gave birth to our new baby 60 days ago. He needs proper nutrition, care, and safety to recover. We also have a 5-year-old son who has become withdrawn, his health has deteriorated, and his mental health has been shattered.

We urgently need to raise €7,500 to cover the costs of safe housing, proper care, a safe sleeping place, a bathroom, blankets, and other basic necessities—everything is becoming increasingly expensive.

Please don't hesitate to help, I need all of you. Don't give up on us; every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.

Help me save my family

Hello, I am Noha Ayyad, a Palestinian from Gaza, specifically from Shujaiya. My family was forcibly displaced from their homes to the southern Gaza Strip, and they now live in tents in the central area, we are live in a small tent suffering from a lack of water and food, including children who were deprived of their basic rights to education and life like the rest of the children in the world. The Israeli Defense Forces completely bombed our house, and we lost our business. My brothers worked in the clothing trade and had a clothing distribution shop. It was destroyed along with the house. They lost their work and all their money, and they no longer had a place to return to.

My mother suffers from arthritis and back pain, and my brother suffers from paralysis in his right leg and needs regular treatment. He also suffers from a lack of necessary medicines in Gaza, as you know.

I lost my only child and my husband in the 2014 war

Now I am afraid of losing the rest of my family and I have nothing to do but ask them to evacuate from Gaza to a safe place to save their lives.

Travel is through the Rafah crossing. I asked for $5,000 per person over 16 and $2,500 for children under 16, + GoFundMe fees( %2.99 + 0.05 cents for every transaction)

Finally, $5,000 for travel expenses.

I hope for help from you and from everyone who has humanity and hears and sees what is happening in Gaza in terms of genocide and war.

Note that I was not accustomed to asking anyone for help before, but the curse of war, my longing and fear for my family, and I hope to meet them well before I find myself losing one of them again, as happened before in 2014. War. Whether this is due to bombing, it will be due to hunger and disease

Saftey and security should not be hidden behind a pay wall, but that is a reality in Gaza.

"I don't know if these words describe the horrors of what colonialism is doing to us: hunger, fear, displacement, and killing. Do you know that we feel death every second? Do you know that time is passing? We are still living the nightmare every day. I wonder, will we die? No one will know about us? I am truly tired. My soul has become destroyed and worn out. In order for me to describe the horrors of what is happening, I would have to write a story that would take 18 months to recount the horrific memories that are happening to us. Please contribute to spreading my story. My family and I can survive. My family and I can travel. My sick brother, who has become disabled, can be brought back, and my father can be treated. Please hold my hand and fight for me. If I get out, I can take my high school exams after they were refused in the Gaza Strip, depriving me of an education for two years. Please provide me with a way. I deserve this opportunity. My campaign has been documented

I deserve this opportunity. I hope you will donate. My life is in your hands."

-@jihedalhamaide , who has asked me to share his story.

In Gaza, people are subject to degrading and dehumanising conditions every single second. They are forced to witness and experience things their minds cannot even comprehend, let alone cope with. No Palestinian will come out of this genocide the same. If the litteral genocide isn't enough for you to take action, I fear to imagine what will. They don't know if they'll be alive tomorrow, THEY DONT KNOW IF THEYLL BE ALIVE TOMORROW. Helping I so easy, it only takes a few minutes to just donate to share, do their lives not matter to you? If you are able to donate and do not, I honestly don't know what to say to you.

Its simple, he dosent ask for much - only put a few into his fundraiser. What's you may spend at a coffee shop is crucial to him. Don't leave him in the dark, instead be a light, a beam of hope.

Fucking hilarious (and by that i mean outrageous) whenever a zionist cries and wails about breaches of international law. A bunch of them are up in arms because the bodies of four deceased hostages were returned ---- but the manner of return was to have the bodies in closed coffins which were sat on a raised platform that the red cross came and collected them from. Which seems pretty respectful to me, personally.

But apparently a bunch of zionists are up in arms about this and calling it a breach of international law, and saying that the bodies were "paraded" around by hamas.

First of all: no they werent? They were in closed coffins and were transported to the collection site and then sat there awaiting collection??? No part of that features any kind of "parading."

Secondly: As though anyone could find me one singular zionist who gives a single solitary flying fuck about international law. And as though placing bodies in coffins and setting them out waiting for collection on a raised platform is REMOTELY comparable to the wide array of far more heinous international war crimes that Israel has committed unrelentingly in the last 16 months.

What do you want to bet that what the zionists are ACTUALLY mad about is that having the coffins be visible (instead of handed over under cover of darkness, out of sight) highlights the fact that these hostages are all dead, and highlights the fact that it was Israel who killed them. They were all killed by Israeli missile strikes. They weren't killed by hamas. They were killed by Israel. And that's something that Israel very much wants everyone to forget, so they would MUCH rather have had the bodies be quietly repatriated out of sight.

And THATS what they're mad about, and why they're claiming that "bodies placed in coffins" somehow equates to "parading body parts around."
