AU where both Etoiles and BBH are both aro but they don’t know or understand that being aro is a thing so they both just think something is wrong with them so to try and feel “normal” they start dating

they both figure out really quick that they admire the other a lot and enjoy each others company but definitely don’t feel any romantic feelings for each other but have accidentally faked romantic feelings and think the other one is in love with them and they feel so bad for misleading them that they just don’t break up and keep going on for years until they’re married with kids

just the type of shenanigans I think they’d get up to

they sleep in separate beds 1950s style

Swan song:

The final act someone does before they die; the final performance of an actor. According to folk lore, swans sing most beautifully and mournfully before they die.

Hierarchy:

All vampires are related to one of six original vampires and all are related to the Proud Vampire Mother.

This relation is not quite genetic, they do share venom with vampires from the same sire or greatest sire (whichever OG vampire they’re related to) but it is not the same as human blood relations. What I’m trying to say is that it’s not incest for two vampires with the same sire to date ToT

That being said, found family tropes are common so that often deters vampires under the same sire from dating each other. Opinions on this probably differ from vampire to vampire.

There are technically 7 original vampires, though 6 came from the first. The first vampire was born sometime during the dawn of man. She would go on to sire 6 prodgenies together, the 7 of them would be referred to as sevens, with Pride being the first. Her wearabouts remain unknown and have remained unknown for thousands of years. It’s assumed she is either dead or in hibernation, similar to a volcano.

The rest of the original vampires would be incredibly power, equivalent to weak gods. Each has a different skill set and type of vampiric power. I haven’t really fleshed them out too well but they correlate with their namesakes.

Sireing a vampire takes significant effort, similar to having a child. The way they’re turnt is pretty basic, the sire drains most of their blood and injects an IMMENSE amount of venom. Much more than is typically released in a normal feeding.

Also similar to having a child, sires cannot sire an infinite number of fledglings. To sire one typically takes at least 5 years of care and a lot of venom. The time it takes for the amount of venom it takes to turn a person is roughly 2 years. Technically if a sire were to take an “absent parent role” they could sire a fledgling every two years but without care, the fledgling would likely die quickly. Most vampires don’t end up sireing another vampire and those that do often keep their numbers small.

The fledgling will be very dependent on their sire for the first 5 years or so. In this time the fledgling will mostly feed from the sire and rely on them to familiarize them with their new abilities and body. Usually this forms a bond between the two parties. While most vampires can become independent after a few years under their sire, many stay longer. If this process is interrupted by separating the sire and fledgling development can be stunted or damaged. Unbalanced and impulsive vampires are often the result. A lot of bad vampire stereotypes come from improperly sired vampires who struggle to control feeding impulses.

Fledglings who are seperated from their sires can recover if another vampire steps in as a sire or if their original sire returns even years later. Adoptive sires might not be able to raise a fledgling to the ability their original sire could have, especially if they don’t share relation to an original sire, however there’s little difference in quality if the adoptive sire is committed.

The strength and power a vampire has is directly related to how many times removed they are from the First Vampire, Pride, whether or not their own sire is alive and the number of fledglings their sire had, and whether or not they’ve killed other vampires.

When a vampire sires a fledgling, their fledgling typically inherits somewhere between 1 to 3 quarters of their sires power. In rare cases it can be more or less. In long lines of vampires, this power typically weakens with each new generation.

When a sire dies, their power disperses and divides amongst their living fledglings in a phenomenon dubbed inheritance. If a fledgling’s sire sired many fledglings, they will receive less power from their sire than one that sired fewer fledglings.

If a vampire were to kill another and consume all their blood, they could stop the inheritance phenomenon instead absorbing around half that vampire’s power all to their self. Sires with many fledglings, or powerful vampires in general, are at risk of other vampires slaying them for their power.

Most vampires are related to Lust and Gluttony making up close to half of the vampire population. This is followed by Envy related vampires who make up close to 1/5th of the population. Greed, Wrath, and Sloth make up the rest of the population in that order.

I have much more to this au, I just don’t have it written down yet!

B-PLOT

In a nation far away from the Quesadilla Archipelago sits a police state off the anarchist continent of 2b2t. Fit is a refuge from 2b2t and takes the first job he can get when he gets to the police state: vampire hunter.

Fit doesn’t have any moral obligation to this, as growing up in 2b2t all vampires he had encountered had been aggressive and dangerous. With the first place he moves to promoting anti-vampire propaganda, Fit has no reason to believe that they aren’t essentially intelligent zombies.

Before his nighttime shifts, Fit stops by a 24/7 dinner each night to have a meal and some coffee. There he meets Pac, a cute young waiter who also happens to run the night shift ;) They get chummy and eventually Fit realizes that he likes Pac, leading to him fighting internalized homophobia (which should be the least of his worries).

Getting to know Pac better, Fit finds out that Pac lives with a roomate, Mike. At first he worries that he’s crushing on somebody who’s taken. Fit asks Pac to “hang out” outside of work during daylight hours, but he refuses each time usually using Mike as an excuse. Eventually Pac explains that Mike is essentially his brother and he has to spend a lot of time taking care of him because he’s incredibly sickly. Pac says that he has to spend a lot of time working in order to pay for both of them and is often too exhausted during the day for any activity. This leads to Fit greatly admiring Pac for being so selfless.

Eventually they get to talking about Fit and his profession after spending many dinners together. (fit worries because despite pac taking his dinner break with Fit, he hardly eats and refuses all offers for Fit to pay for his dinner). Fit often tries not to talk about his job, as it’s dirty business, but eventually opens up to Pac. Unexpectedly to Fit, this makes Pac a lot more uncomfortable than he thought it would. Pac was such an empathetic listener, Fit was certain he’d understand.

Pac starts to almost grill Fit, asking if he’s killed vampires who weren’t hunting before. He asks if Fit kills all vampires he comes across. He asks if Fit has ever met one that didn’t seem so bad. Fit, understandably, gets defensive. Yes, he kills all vampires. If he doesn’t, him, Pac, and Mike would all fall to their hands. They cannot get too powerful.

Pac falls quiet at this. His demeanor is scarily different. It’s almost… demure… embarrassed? Is he scared. Fit tries to apologize for snapping, but Pac stops him. He admits to having met a vampire he thought to be kind before and had heard of vampires and people coexisting in other nations. He begs Fit that if he were to ever come across a vampire that seemed kind or redeemable to spare it. Fit says tries to explain that those thoughts are false, and dangerous, but Pac just smiles at him, hoarsely whispers a goodnight, and disappears into the dimly lit kitchens of the diner.

Fit doesn’t see Pac again after that experience and it plagues him at night. Of course he’s briefly considered the morality of killing vampires and the fact that there are nations that live with vampires, but those thoughts have never kept him alive before. Yet now they plague him. He’s aware of his new nations authoritarian presence and considers that it’s propaganda regarding vampire-friendly nations could be falsified. After all, Fit grew up in a land that ran entirely on anarchy. Anything is possible and he’s not necessarily naive.

He considers the fact that maybe Pac is naive, but knows that Pac is actually so so smart. He does online classes for his degree in chemical engineering after all. Fit still tries to convince himself that vampires are mindless beasts, but it’s harder to settle now. On a sidebar, a vampire likely took Fit’s arm, contributing to his attitude on them.

Of course shortly after his conversation with Pac, Fit meets Ramon. During one of his nighttime sweeps, Fit hears the unmistakable sound of human eating noises and the splatter of what could only be blood coming from an alley. He turns the corner and finds Ramon absolutely tearing into the carcass of a rat.

Fit hesitates for a few reasons, Ramon is the youngest vampire he’s seen yet, being barely around 10 years old, he isn’t eating a human, and he flinches away from Fit. Fit comes to his senses, a bit surprised that Ramon hasn’t sprang for his face yet. He gets ready to give the fledgling a swift death, but Ramon begins to speak, begging him not to make it hurt. Fit has heard vampires speak before, but this was the first time one spoke kindly to him. Fit finds himself unable to hurt the kid. He takes off his overcoat, throws it over Ramon’s bloodstained body.

He takes in Ramon and finds out that many of his biases against vampires are unjust. Ramon explains that a lot of vampires actually intermingle in society but many can’t. Ramon can’t because he’s a child and would likely get discovered quickly. Ramon explains that a lot of vampires can sustain off of meat and animal blood, but ultimately it’s not enough and only human is truely filling. Without as least some human blood, most vampires will become very weak, thought they likely won’t die unless they stop eating completely.

Fit feeds Ramon all the meat he could want and eventually convinced Ramon to feed from himself as well. It takes a lot of time and conviction. Ramon is almost aggressive by the time he agrees. Fit eventually finds out that Ramon wasn’t even turned a year ago. He was a street rat who was kidnapped and forced to join a fighting ring. Spreen was a captive vampire that was forced to bite and turn Ramon. Spreen broke the two of them out and watched over Ramon for a few weeks before leaving. During that time Spreen taught Ramon a lot of hard lessons and wasn’t very kind to him. He left suddenly leaving Ramon to have to adapt quickly.

What Spreen never told Ramon was that he only was cruel to strengthen him. He left so suddenly because he knew that their former captors had his scent and would soon kill him. Unfortunately, Ramon never knew these things and nobody would, forever giving him a complicated outlook on his sire.

Between working nights and now raising and “feeding” a kid, Fit is exhausted. One very early morning during one of his patrols, Fit comes across a vampire eating the corpse of a person. It’s Pac. He and Fit make eye contact and Pac bursts into tears, incoherently apologize while scrambling away. Fit assures Pac that he won’t kill him.

Pac explains that he was turned a few years ago in prison and just barely escaped with Mike. They didn’t mean to end up in their current nation, as they were aiming for one that didn’t kill vampires, but ended up settling as they regained strength and money to travel. Meat wasn’t enough to sustain Pac so he began hunting bad people from anonymous tips on the dark web. It got too dangerous after a vampire hunter caught him onetime and nearly killed him so Mike insisted that he were to feed from him,

It wasn’t sustainable and eventually Mike became very anemic leaving Pac to support both of them. Despite being sickly, Mike still insists that Pac feeds from him until he no longer can, hence his and Fit’s unfortunate meeting. Fit takes Pac home where Pac is certain that Fit will kill him. He begs Fit to take care of Mike, as he deserves nothing bad to come to him. Fit tries to reassure him, but Pac is inconsolable. He finally calms down when Fit introduces him to Ramon.

Fit quickly meets Mike, who at first is very distrustful of him, but comes around. They all move in together and start pooling money and plan to escape. It’s hard with Pac and Ramon’s diet and Mike’s poor health, but they just barely pull it off and end up in Quesadilla Island :)

also I forgot to mention last post but I’d love it if anybody wanted to talk about their own questions, thoughts, or own aus

Beginning of Main Storyline:

The main storyline for my little maladaptive daydream vampire AU follows Tubbo, a troubled human who tends to get in even more trouble for petty crimes. He takes up a dangerous job working as a “bloodbag” and runner for a non-legal coven.

Essentially, in exchange for money and protection, he exchanges his blood and runs, often less than legal errands, for a dangerous group of vampires. Quesadilla Island is quite strict against vampires, but will often recognize covens in order to better keep an eye on them. Covens that are legally recognized have to pay specific taxes and perform specific duties to the government in order to live peacefully and have access to ethical blood sources.

Covens that fly under the goverment radar are often dangerous and most notoriously obtain blood from unethical sources, like down on their luck adults or even teenagers. In Tubbo’s case, the coven he affiliates with is one of the more dangerous ones.

It’s actually not fully fleshed out in my mind, because I spent more time thinking about the origins to vampires or later story stuff, but it would probably be a bit funny if the leader of Tubbo’s coven was Tommy. Tommy is a powerful progeny of a long dead original vampire called Envy.

I can explain the power scaling and vampire hierarchy later.

Tubbo gets caught blood running and is taken into government custody. After some court trials, they find his case sympathetic as he had grown up in a group home and had joined the coven as a teenager.

The government means to sentence him to a rehabilitation center, which is basically just a slightly nicer prison with more social and psychological rewiring, but accidentally mess up the paperwork. The government is busy and kind of a hot mess when it comes to humanitarian aide. They mark him as a lone, fledgling vampire by accident and ship him off to be assimilated into a government approved coven.

Tubbo gets forcefully escorted into a train and rides it, a very long and uncomfortable journey, to the very north of the archipelago. The weather here is dreary almost all year and experiences harsh winters. The summers, fortunately, are beautiful. Too bad Tubbo gets there in the beginning of autumn.

Tubbo considers trying to make his way back to his coven, but he doesn’t really want to. Before his arrest, Tommy had begun to get more and more possessive over him, becoming furious if anybody else were to feed from him. Tommy began to talk about how he’d turn Tubbo soon, something Tubbo didn’t want. When he expressed his displeasure, Tommy would just laugh. Also, Tubbo literally had no money of his own. He did skim some of the covens cash for emergencies, however that was repossessed from the island.

At this point Tubbo realized that they sent him to the wrong place, especially since he was being unassisted after leaving the train. He comes to the conclusion that they must’ve sent him to a different social service and decides to see what it can do for him because he’s certain they can’t force him to stay if he doesn’t have an agent with him. He goes to the address and has to walk miles into the woods. This furthers his decision to stay because he physically wouldn’t be able to sleep outside with the lack of resources he has on hand: none.

After walking all day in the rain, Tubbo finally reaches the address: an old Victorian building of notable size. If he were to guess, a decommissioned hospital repurposed into housing. He knocks and is very surprised to have Badboyhalo open it, an ancient vampire. Bad is equally surprised as he was expecting a young vampire and not a fleshy human. He welcomes him in, nonetheless.

Bad explains that his coven is one intended to take in abandoned fledgling vampires and lone vampires who either need help or are ones that the government won’t allow to exist outside of a coven. Tubbo is a bit surprised to find the place so… homey. The only experience he had with vampires formerly were desperate hungry ones. Also Tommy’s covens’ headquarters were in an abandon underground subway.

The cushy, mostly vintage decor, roaring fireplace, mood lighting, and lack of bloodstains really made all the difference. He’s also surprised to find that Bad puts out a small platter of muffins and tea. While vampires can digest human food in small doses, those in Tubbo’s former coven rarely engaged.

Bad asks Tubbo how he ended up in a coven house and listens patiently as Tubbo relays his story. He decides to be honest, as Tommy had the uncanny ability to almost always be able to tell when he lied. He doesn’t want to repeat that mistake with Bad, in case he has a similarl ability. Being around Bad, and in a house full of unfamiliar vampires makes Tubbo incredibly anxious and paranoid.

But Bad is kindly in demeanor and makes no move to turn Tubbo into a pre dinner snack. When Tubbo finishes his story Bad offers him the opportunity to stay, empathizing with Tubbo over their shitty government and even worse “social programs”. He promises that nobody in the house with feed from Tubbo.

Tubbo accepts, deciding that he’s probably dead if he returns to Tommy, and that if he dies here at least the government knows where he went. If he goes with Bad’s plan too, his record with be effectively swept clean.

It takes Tubbo some time, but he quickly warms up to the residents of the house. It’s also just an incredibly nice place and Bad has an eye for furniture. What truely let’s Tubbo put down his guard is the gaggle of bratty child fledgling vampires who are too honest for politeness sake. I think it would be Dapper, Pomme, and Richas. They tell Tubbo that they wouldn’t want to try his blood because it smells anemic and foul. They also explain that they’re well fed enough to not even really consider it anyways. Their hunting urges are met in the woods, where they help control deer populations as well as others.

Tubbo settles in well, getting along great with the members of Bad’s coven, Cellbit and Bagi, then probably all of the French. I’ll explain specifics in another post. All is well until… it’s not :). But for now, I want to talk about my B-plot.

This Is A First Draft So The Dialogue Is A Bit Rough, Lol.
This Is A First Draft So The Dialogue Is A Bit Rough, Lol.

This is a first draft so the dialogue is a bit rough, lol.

Thank you to @kittycatboyhalo for creating basically the entirety of this storyline! Bad is currently feminine presenting, and just got accused as a witch. He escaped, was chased, and stumbled upon Etoiles’s forest home. Etoiles has helped rescue ladies like Bad from witch trials in the past.

Heilige also means Saint in German, so I thought it would be funny to call the Saint of Games himself Madame Heilige. Probably not accurate historically or otherwise, but let’s just roll with it.

Give me fic recs please I'm desperate.

I have so much skephalo/happyduo brainrot right now you don't understand.

i need a fanfic with them as the main focus but its so hard to find that because they are usually a background ship.

Rules for fic rec are pretty basic,

-no nsfw

Yeah that's all the rules. I prefer if the ship is romantic but at this point I'll take platonic. please just anything.

thank you ahead of time.

My daydreaming has recently just reverted to my middle school form so here’s the edgy BBH lab AU that I’ve been chewing on

Evil lab, probably just the federation does human testing

they take bbh, a regular guy, and try to genetically form him into an idea assassin or something. Night vision resulting in glowing, white eyes, camouflaged skin to blend in with statues, lighter bones to better climb and scale buildings, and a tail for balance. Sharp teeth, claws, and horns all as backup weapons. Enhanced speed and strength. He’s now a man made demon! his creators are likely pleased! They’ve created a perfect being to do their biddings. Perfect to steal artifacts, to spy, and to kill.

They realize they’ve made a mistake when they try to send bbh on his first mission. All their work resulted in Bad’s brain changing as well. He goes from a reasonable guy they kidnapped to an instinct filled, FURIOUS demon. They didn’t do much psychological upkeep or brainwashing when they altered him, they might have assumed or had a plan to mess with his frontal lobe and amygdala but either, oops, forgot, OR accidentally altered it to make him 10x more unruly.

the second his feet hit the ground he immediately turns back and probably takes out a scientist or two before being sedated.

no they have an absolutely livid and untamable perfect assassin that they continuously try to hypnotize or brainwash but it never works. They try sedation or drugging but every time Bad just naps it off and wakes up angrier. It isn’t until they introduce Bad to the child subjects, idk why they would actually do that there’s like a fifty percent chance he would just fly into homicidal rage, and he becomes fiercely protective and loyal to them.

finally they have leverage over him.

and then eventually he either breaks out or gets rescued with the kids but I haven’t really got there yet 😗

idk about you guys but I love reading what people are thinking about or their personal Brain aus.

this sparked from rewatching the analogue horror videos from the Poppy Playtime devs. I really enjoy the plot and horror they have but also find it very amusing that these people just didn’t really have a way to actually subdue their experiments in times of disaster? They literally had Huggy Wuggy just standing in the atrium what were they thinking

au where qbad chose the other way. his other home. finally return to heaven and the embrace of his first family. and his body lay rotting in that field never discovered forever. and pomme knew and dapper knew that he was dead and never coming back and pomme accepted it first, started acknowledging it first, and dapper kept searching for a full month before finally accepting the truth.

and then she gets to work.

she even has some of the theory worked out beforehand. he’d discovered all he’d wanted in this dimension before, and started to research others and how to go there. it’ll take time, and effort, and fieldwork, but Pomme will help, and then it’ll go even faster.

after all. what is heaven but another dimension to explore?

Okay so vampire AU!

The world had a war that resulted in vampires being subjected to a lot of shitty stuff. They have the basic negative stereotypes and the one place that vampires actually rule is a lawless wasteland where all humans die. Most places kill or do not allow vampires to reside there, but Quesadilla Island does, albeit for shady reasons.

Vampires are allowed to live in Quesadilla Island relatively peacefully, however they must stay at one of three group homes. I imagine BBH, Philza, and Foolish each running one. BBH runs one in the far north where it’s cold and rainy most the year, Foolish in the south of the archipelago where it’s warm and daywalking is more common, and Philza somewhere in the middle, maybe he’s the only one who owns a group home in the city.

Foolish, BBH, and Philza are all 2nd generation vampires which means they were sired by the “original vampires”. No original vampire still survives which makes the few remaining 2nd generation ones the strongest around making them ideal to run group homes. BBH, Foolish, and Philza are all reasonable and kindhearted in their own ways, which make them ideal to run group homes. Their power also makes them ideal to have under control.

I haven’t quite divided up who would live under which group home but I think vaguely it would follow purgatory grouping, though I imagine tina with foolish and bagi with bbh so maybe not. Tubbo is a human who got forced to live at BBH’s home for reasons I haven’t fully fleshed out. Bad and the vampires are surprised. Tubbo is scared at first but they all adapt.

That’s basically the bones of my AU. It’s so far completely been in my head so the details are jumbled.

Some plot lines I’ve had are that BBH and Foolish were sired by the same vampire so they were both under his control at the same time. This led to them somewhat trauma bonding. Philza is somewhat of a mentor to bbh and foolish being older than them by a few hundred years. BBh is older than foolish by about 50 and holds it over his head all the time.

BBH takes in a lot of children who got turned and abandoned, Dapper being one of them. Cellbit was sired by BBH and went on to later sire his husband Roier himself. They both used to stay in Philza’s coven but were forcibly removed and sent to bbh and foolish separately after an incident. They’re both depressed.

Tina and Bagi are also separated, but they didn’t do anything so there’s conspiracy that the federation wont tolerate vampire couples or something.

Pac is a newly turned vampire. He lives in a anti vampire city with Mike who is his sole source of food. Pac begins to hunt after Mike gets more and more anemic. Fit is a handsome vampire hunter that visits the 24/7 diner that pac works the night shift at. Fit was in an awful accident where he and his family ended up in the vampire lands. Fit was the sole survivor and really buys into anti vampire propaganda. One night he gets a call reporting a vampire and finds the cute waiter that’s been working the night shift at his favorite diner. He freezes and lets Pac escape. This leads to him questioning all of his beliefs and when he finds Ramon, a child vampire a week later that he can’t kill, he knows there’s only one person he can turn to for help.

ALRIGHT SO THIS IS JUST A JUMBLE OF MY THOUGHTS, if anybody has questions or want me to specify pls pls pls I love talking about this stuff BUT: So basically blah blah vampires exist the world went largely unaware for a while before recognizing their existence and then BOOM. Basic human vampire war. It ends in there being some human only territories and one vampire only territory and some blended.

Quesadilla Island is technically a long archipelago run by a shady government with confusing motives. They allow vampires to live there in peace, which is uncommon in this world but they must follow a weird social program where all vampires must stay in a registered group home that gets frequent visits from the Federation. Badboyhalo, Philza, and Foolish each are heads of each group home on the archipelago. They all are 2nd generation vampires which I’ll explain soon.

Ill get back to this soon1 I’m Currently at work and this is how I’m procrastinating.

does anybody want to hear about my qsmp vampire au maladaptive daydream that I think about during my lectures or honestly anytime I really should be paying attention?

It's mostly BBH and Tubbo centric but lately I've been thinking of a Fitpac B plot

people trying to push Philza into dad roles frustrates me as a bbh main because BBH is literally right there 😭 he goes out of his way to go above and beyond with all of the eggs and in his lore gave up HEAVEN to stay back and be a father!! Yet I so often see fics and art of Philza being the primary caretaker

I also don’t watch a ton of Phil so I might be wrong but idk man

I may not like BBH personally, but he’s a damn good Egg Dad, and he did essentially ‘raise’ Cellbit during the War. Is he Cellbit’s dad? No, but Cellbit works so hard to make him proud, so it’s like. Hell yeah, Dadify BBH. Why not? He’s always prepared, he will Protect, he’ll do anything for his kids.

I don’t want anyone to be the Server Dad, but. You know. There should at least be options
