Honestly, I’ve been thinking about that possibility for a while now, and it would be awesome if I could figure out doing something like that, but I don’t really know how to do that.
Hey long time no see, how is everyone doing! So this was something that was on the works for a while before It evolved into it’s own mega project, So for those that don’t know, I’m a bit of a coffee appreciator, and I like to have options for my simmies, so it became a separate project of its own. Mod Blends are just that - Mods that enhance the experience of having some of these objects within your game, as I’m about to show you, right now this is the only Mod Blend, but depending of how much I start to mess with things, others will come in the future. So, what does Barista Plus do?
Well, why don’t I show you.
this is a version of the Game without Barista Plus
this on the other hand, is a version of the game with Barista Plus In a nutshell, it allows for custom espresso bars to spawn their own Baristas in unowned community lots!!!! It has been something that has been bugging me since I found out that custom Espresso Bars didn’t have this functionality. But why didn’t they work, you might ask. Short Version: EAxis’s Spaghetti Code at it again. Long Version: It’s not that they didn’t work, they clone just fine, however, the Barista NPC Template has this unique BHAV called “Get My Stand”, basically this BHAV is the one that does the detection for the espresso bar, and io and behold, it only detects one GUID from the Uni Espresso Bar, nothing else, hence why none other custom espresso bar couldn’t spawn a Barista.
So what this does is expand the number of GUID’s the BHAV can detect, which allows for them to fully function in an unowned community lot. Right now, it detects: -Around the Sims 2′s Tea Shop Cart -Vitasims’s Victorian Tea Espresso Cart -linegud’s Elegant Espresso -All Espresso Bars I’m about to release. “But wait!” you might ask “are there any Free GUIDs I can use that are natively compatible with Barista Plus” Of course there are, I saved some from my GUID book specifically for this: 0x0093BBF0- 0x0093BBF1- 0x0093BBF2- 0x0093BBF3- 0x0093BBF4- 0x0093BBF5- 0x0093BBF6- Feel free to use any of them, but please do give me a heads up when you use them, I don’t want people taking GUID and accidentally making objects conflict. How to use them: Make it the GUID for the 0,0 Object Data, that’s it, that’s as simple as that. If you know of any other espresso bars on the wild or if you have your own already on the works with GUIDs and anything, please do tell and I’ll update the mod accordingly. And without further ado: Download Hope you enjoy it! Version Status: 1.0 - Initial Relase Special thanks: MidgeTheTree for setting me in the right direction, Fireflower, Frac and probably a lot of people from The Keep who gave me help and support for doing this.
This is pretty serious stuff. Bayer might be about to overturn the EC’s decision to ban the pesticides implicated in killing off the bees! If they win this case, it could be truly disastrous for both the bees and our own future. Please share, and please see the SumOfUs link (no affiliation) to make a donation to help the campaign to save the bees.
Early in 2013, the European Food Safety Authority stated that three specific neonicotinoid insecticides (imidacloprid, clothianidin, and thiamethoxam) pose an acute risk to honeybees, and the European Commission proposed a two-year ban on them.
This is due to go into effect on Dec 1st – and the ban was introduced because of mounting scientific evidence that these insecticides, produced by Syngenta and Bayer, have been the agents responsible for Colony Collapse Disorder – a major problem threatening both the bees and the safety of our own food supply!
However in a horrifying twist, and despite huge public opposition, Syngenta and Bayer are now suing the European Commission over their “right” to continue to produce the pesticides which have been implicated in the massive die-off of millions of bees. Yes, their “right”. Because as we know, corporations’ sole agenda is to make money. They cannot let a trivial thing like nature get in their way.
These insecticides continue to be produced and used on a vast scale in the USA and in other countries and are huge moneymakers for the chemical corporations…

So, while my brain bloomed in Simming ideas, i came with this one! The Hibiscus is such a cute flower, wasted in a base-game hair that nowdays people rarely use.
Some important information:
- The flower was cloned from a bracelet, every acessory can be used, exept bracelets.
- It can be assigned to sims between Teen-Elder, Females only.
- It can be used on all clothing categories.
- It's compatible with atw Hat Sliders, so you can move around and make it fit on various hairstyles, make it bigger, or rotate it.
And withouth further ado, here's the Download link:

Mini-tutorial for SimPe users
'Merge' button allows you to quickly add / replace only a part of material properties inside recolour package.
Export the settings (.xml file) from recolour A
Open .xml file with text editor like Notepad
Locate and remove the lines you don't want to replace / add to recolour B, for example: remove base texture name if you don't want to link clothing recolour B to texture resource used by clothing recolour A*
Open recolour B and hit Merge to open pop-up window. Pick the edited xml and import the settings. Remember to Commit and save.
*note: TS2 Bodyshop recolours like clothing, accessories, hair are linked to a specific texture only with TXMT Properties. In case of object recolours you also need to add / edit texture name inside File List tab.
I use Merge method to link a batch of clothing recolours to the same normal map texture included with the mesh file.
Keep Updates are returning!!!

Howdy, How is everyone? So, what’s this one about? Well, it works the same as Barista Plus, Except not really. This is the Proxy GUID version of Barista Plus. So a while back, a bit around the original release of Barista Plus, some people have inquired about making it better by instead of looking at a bunch of individual GUIDs, it should look for a Proxy GUID, kind of like what Argon’s Instruments does, and that has been sitting on the back of my head for a while, but It wasn’t something I was actively working on since the original release of Barista Plus. That Changed last week, when @itsdiamondeyesuniverse slid into my DMs and found some interesting information about Proxy GUID, and after a couple of hours and days with plenty of help from @midgethetree, here arrives the Rebrewed version of Barista Plus.
Edit (Because I forgot to put a quick description of what the original Barista Plus did): What the original Barista Plus (and this one too) does is that it allows Baristas to spawn in Custom Espresso Bars, what changes is how the mod does so. For specifics, the Mod looks at all objects for a specific GUID (the Fallback GUID located in the 0,0 position object) which for most of the espresso bars, that does not change at all, and it spawns the barista if the conditions are met, like I said, same deal as Barista Plus, except this one doesn’t look at only eleven GUIDs, or so, but to all instances of the same fallback GUID. Now for a bit of a warning, like I said, this GUID is going to look at *All* objects, which means it might caused some lag, that didn’t happened when I tested it, but if you have a CC Heavy Game, feel free to tell me if it does. Download Special Thanks to @itsdiamondeyesuniverse for getting me the information that helped me getting this thing started, @midgethetree for helping with the code, @crispsandkerosene and @miros1 (I hope I’m not missing anyone else) for asking if making that revision was a possibility, and Everyone at the PBK Discord for general support.
So, this is one of my first trips through Memory Lane, a sim i enjoyed the most, Marisol Velasquez.
First, a little bit of backstory, one day, i guess in 2011, i installed The Sims 3 on my mother's laptop (this was due to my own computer having problems), when i started the game, i played with an empty Riverview save, and created my first inhabitant, a Latina Gall named, if it wasn't obvious, Marisol Velasquez.
Later on, i had to uninstall The Sims 3 from my mother's laptop (and she forbid me and my sister to install things on her laptop), but when i was back to my computer, i started a town where before standed Sunset Valley, named Vilabella, and one of my first sims there was, drumroll please...
Marisol Velasquez, a cutie wasn't she.
But then a simmers worst nightmate happend, game crashing, graphics card on the loose... and a lot of restarting Vilabella.
In some of those restarts i had plans to add Marisol back to the neighborhood, unfortunatly, that never came to happend untill a day where an idea came... And Marisol came back, but...
...as a Teen.
Since she was a teen she would require Family, so i made her mother, and her mother's boyfriend, not Marisol's dad...
Meet Miss Carmen Velasquez and Paco Sanches.
And well this is where Marisol's story currently stands, hope you enjoyed the first trip through Memory Lane.

This is a suggestion for the ts2 community to make finding cc easier. It's not a big problem, but sometimes I still make this mistake, so it's also a reminder for myself.
When answering WCIFs, name the cc item or mod, its creators and any other information that would be useful to identify where it came from. Don't just say "It's here" and paste the link. Knowing the information could save a lot of time if the original download post goes down. Include a picture of the item if you can.
Similarly, when you share something, type a descriptive title in text, so it's easier to find through google. Don't just use a title card.
Also, this is not as common anymore, but if you're going to name your cc after a song, make sure your file names include some kind of basic description of the item, or a put a preview picture in your zip/rar/7z file.
(He/Him) I share mostly Sims 2 content, not at a consistent rate. (Also known as Sonikku3 and jdps18 on different websites)
