And I found way too many redraws of screencaps of MHA.
... in fact so many, I need to split them in multiple posts.
I found more. Holy shit, there are some good drawings I did last year. I'm still wondering how I did them.
Found this little goober while looking through my sketchbook.
Am I weird for already wanting to prepare for Art Fight for the next year? We don't even have Christmas but I know I will run out of time if it starts next year.
Just wanted to share a couple more doodles of my OCs. Think they turned out pretty nice.
That's Edward (former known as Decay)
And here we have Blake.
I'm looking forward to the day, I finally finish all of the concepts for my OCs so I can start telling their story.
I have a new drawing tablet :D
and still a lot of OC's to redesign ...
(and yeah, I'm too lazy for clean lineart and backgrunds.)
If ur OC was a Pokemon trainer what would Pokemon's would they use?
Okay, I started cleaning up the lineart but stopped after I finished his face and wanted to color him. He's a cutie.
Btw. That's my OC Kael.
And I found the pose somewhere as I scrolled through tumblr and I thought: that's him. I need to draw him. So I did 😀
Can anyone tell me how to draw lightning and tunder?
I'm struggling to draw energy lightning circling around a specific spot.
How does lightning work? It's just rigid lines but it's also not.
Edit:
figured out how to do it digitally. But how the hell are you supposed to do that with traditional mediums like acrylics or markers?
And yes, I made a short sketch to figure this out. But digitally it's quite easy. Just draw some white squiggly lines along a shape, erase some parts, repeat that process until you're satisfied and then add colored glow beneath.
Whoop Whoop! Making another one 😀
You know what? Take another sketch. That's my OC Blake. Changed him quite a bit. Now he's fitting more the futuristic vibe I wanted to give him.
Sketch of my OC Kael.
Currently trying to reorganise my notes and changing up designs.

Been doodling. That's my OC Percy. He's a cute one ... also a poor soul. I made him being hunted by a ghost.
I was looking through my character concepts and found this and thought that he looked cute like this.
(but sadly way too similar to another character. I'm thinking about doing something different with him. And btw. his name is Blake)
Maybe I will do something like this:
But I still need to work on the particular design.
GUYS! Guysguysguys ...
I'm excited. I finished planning the first 11 pages of my comic :D
The first scene is done :D
Now I just need to get a little criticism on what I could improve and then I can start making it pretty :D
I also realised I probably need to start making REAL character sheets. I changed the design of one of them mid-drawing.
I need to make sure they stay consistent. Otherwise, that would be confusing.
Why do I keep changing the design of my characters?!
That way I'll never be able to draw a consistent comic :(
I am currently so proud of myself :D
I really managed to keep drawing the first chapter of a story with my OCs. It's really not that big of a deal, but a huge leap towards my dream <3
Just thought I might share the beginning of my sketches I'm actually planning. (And the first chapter will have around 10 pages :D)
(and sorry for my bad handwriting but I'm too lazy to fix it for the sketches)
And the scene is not even that important. It's just them goofing around. For like the entire ten pages. But it's funny.
Why does it always happen that I get carried away at some point while doodeling? Here, have a happy Izuku.
I should also try again working on my own artstlye again and just stop drawing screencaps from mha.
Ehh, whatever. Too much fun to stop 😝
Thank you ❤️
And done! So glad I choose pencils for the hair. Also picked one or two times the wrong color but I guess it's rarely noticable.

Here the links for the lineart and the sketch.
Tadaaa! Lineart is done! Now I need to draw in the shadows and start coloring.
Here the links for the finished piece and the sketch.
I finished the sketch and figured out what colors I want to use. It was so difficult to find the right mix of pencils to get somewhat the right hair color. (I went through all pencils and markers I had and none of them were just what I needed 😥)
Now next up is the lineart. I'm actually quite scared of the coloring with the markers because I already figured out that they bleed a little on the paper. And since for the tounge I wanted to mix two colors it will be pretty dificult.
Here the sketch a little more visible:
And the links to the finished lineart and the colored piece.
Well, didn't finish the sketch yet, but it's fun to make another drawing for my wall.
Sometimes I think it's insane what I can remember. I wanted to draw a specific screencap I saw some time ago on pinterest (probably about half a year ago) AND I STILL REMEMBERED THE EXACT IMAGE! (I didn't give up searching until I found it again) Glad I finally found it.
(And then I think about the moments I'm standing in the kitchen and don't know anymore what I wanted a minute ago)
The Result: Fate!!!
(I didn't expect this ... )
Well, guess now I need to figure out his ... yeah his everything. Design, Backstory, a new name ...
I've been trying to figure out which of my OCs to draw. I was thinking it was a funny idea to make the silhouettes of the characters to see if they were distinct enough from each other.
Since I wanted to make character sheets for all of them, who am I supposed to start with? Or rather, who do you want to know more about?
Wonder if this poll will get even a single vote 😅
I just read "School Bus Graveyard" and I adore the artstyle. They really comitted to using the default round brush for the characters. And those hands are goddamn adorable.
Then decided to draw Aiden and Ashlyn from screencaps.
Edit: here the link to the webtoon if your interested to read it yourself.

Okay, I've been putting off my animation for this entire week and finally told myself, you need to continue.
Fighting perfectionism again and oh boy, it's a rough fight.
