For those who enjoy our videos, we have the perfect TYPE of letterpress printed card for you! This card is great for Valentine’s Day or any other occasion!
The text used is all individual letters of 36 point type that has been locked in the chase. Top line of “You’re my” is Sans Serif type. The word “TYPE” is set in the following typefaces from left to right: Cloister Initials, Crayonette, Old Dutch, and Cloister Black. The electrotype (copy of a woodcut) of the birds is from the Lewis Winter Collection and it was made 130-135 years ago. The back of the card includes an image of a Washington hand press and the words “Printed at the Sacramento History Museum.” This card and other cards are available in our Museum Store!
This was letterpress printed in rhodamine red rubber base ink using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press.
"I forgive you"
Who am I, really?
Кто я, на самом деле?
You have become more than my father
Ты стал мне больше, чем отец
The series of art on Johan's personality continues, thanks for the likes and reblogs, this is very important to me!!
OMG YOU ARE MONSTER FAN!now the obligatory question: what is your interpretation of the last scene?(Who was unwanted)
What's the name of the work? Monster. What is the end? The end of Monster? The end of the monster, right?
Even though Johan lost his identity the moment he realized that his mother had sacrificed his sister. He doesn't realize that his mother would rather protect one than lose both.
If Bonaparte had realized that one of the little girls was a little boy, he would have wanted the little girl for the sake of his experiment. Their mother made her twins into a single being to protect them. She removed their names to make them exist, not disappear.
The proof is that she gave them a name.
Which proves that "Johan" the monster no longer needs to swallow to have a name. Then the monster is gone.
When Tenma has this hallucination of Johan, in reality it's the monster's last breath, an agony on a deathbed of the creature that had swallowed the little boy. But through this resentment, the boy behind the monster exists. The monster was nothing. Animosity, on the other hand, is something.
Through this resentment, the boy begins to exist. Then the hallucination fades, the monster is no longer present.
It’s a doctor's job to see that hospital bed empty again for all the right reasons. Tenma saved his patient.
This bed doesn't prove absence - it proves presence. Johan's trademark was to continually leave absolutely no trace of his existence. To the point where we wondered if anyone had actually occupied his student room.
This bed has all the evidence that someone was here. If Johan continued to exist, this bed would be made to perfection. As this bed is unmade, it proves that Johan has ceased to exist.
And that the man with a name exists.
