Y'all cannot tell me that Johan Liebert wouldn't use names like "darling" or "dear" for his partner. Especially dear,it just sounds so pleasant to him.

At first he was hesitant about calling you any kind of name or pet name besides just your actual name. He was never in a relationship before so he was just uncertain and it felt strange.

It didn't take a lot for him to warm up to it though.

"I won't be home until later tonight,I'll have some things to solve first. Just wait for me,dear"

He's not a big fan of the other pet names like baby or babe,he thinks they're too cheesy,he doesn't like cheesy shit.

Maybeee he would sometimes use "sweetheart" if he feels nice,but heavy on SOMETIMES.

He'd use "sweetheart" mostly if he's feeling a bit cocky or cheeky. Like when you're bringing up information that's wrong.

"You're wrong on that fact,science actually says otherwise, sweetheart.

Johan doesn't like using pet names very often so when he does it makes your stomach tingle(in a good way ofc) because it shows you that he still somewhat cares about you in his own weird way.

"Not now, darling,I have some things I need to write down first"

Also he definitely dislikes the word bae idk. He'll give you the nastiest glance if you're gonna call him that. (And you sometimes do because it's funny to see him annoyed)

general Johan and reader headcanons? just in general how it would be like in a relationship? ty :)

Johan is a very calm and collected person,you enjoy his presence a lot because of that fact and he surprisingly also enjoys yours.

He doesn't necessarily want to have lots of people around him but after you guys met, he caught a liking to you,you were pretty interesting.

He often invites you over at his place to mostly either read alongside him or to eat together.

I wouldn't say he's the most talkative person..he probably just lets you do the talking while he just listens, eventually giving an opinion on what you had to say when you're done.

He definitely checks you out shamelessly whenever he gets the chance (especially when you're not looking).

Johan wasn't one to be after a person's looks,hell he wasn't even interested in a relationship at first but there was something about you that he had never seen in someone else.

You were something special, to him at least. Your personality was intriguing to him, he found you very interesting.

He starts glaring and glancing over at you more often after you start dating. He also kinda stalks you and takes a few notes on your habits, pretty much out of curiosity. He wants to learn about his new lover!

He keeps a small notebook hidden somewhere under his desk, keeping information about you in it (you don't know about his notebook)

I feel like he wouldn't be jealous at all?? Like you could go out in public with him and you'd have lots of guys just drooling over you and he'd just look at them with a tilt of his head,his expression remaining neutral,but not unkind.

He really doesn't care,the only time he'll get involved is if someone tries to harm you in some way,he wouldn't allow you to get hurt.

He pretty much trusts you,he knew you wouldn't be interested in other guys anyway.

Johan is not the biggest fan of physical touch but he just recently found out he enjoys holding your hand, especially when you go out in public with him.

He doesn't want to admit he enjoys holding hands directly so he'll try to find some excuses to do it.

"ah,be careful,there are too many cars driving at a fast speed...you should hold my hand just in case. It'll be safer"

You chuckle at his words,and then gently interlock your hand to his.

He obviously knew that you were aware of his excuses..I mean no one would fall for it but he didn't mind you knowing anyway. He just didn't want to admit it directly.

I'm telling y'all,this man does not know how to kiss,like at all.

He gets curious about it at one point and he's asking you if you could kiss.

"I gave this a lot of thought and I really wanted to kiss you,I want to know how it feels to be so..close to a person"

He said to you with the same neutral expression on his face,but having just a slight smile peaking at the corners of his mouth.

He is a messy kisser,very very messy. Saliva and spit included.

Even though it's messy,his kisses are also intense. He puts effort into it, maybe too much effort.

He doesn't necessarily mind your clumsiness,he can sometimes find it quite entertaining

One time you bumped into him because you,bless your heart, were walking with your head down looking at your phone. You were obviously not paying attention to your surroundings

You bumped into him when his back was facing you and you almost fell down but managed to balance yourself

He looks back at you with a neutral expression on his face,but not unkind. He looked somewhat curious

"you alright?"

He asked you in a calm tone of voice,his eyes shamelessly watching over your figure

You just give him a small nod, quickly apolozing"y-yeah,sorry" and walking away from him because of how embarrassed you got

You both ended up sharing an apartment since you were studying in the university of law just like he was and were both looking for a place to stay at

Joahn is not a huge fan of having roommates as he prefers living by himself and he didn't plan on this but you just caught his attention,you were interesting to him

One time you decide to make some dinner for the both of you,you were feeling nice tonight. He was in the kitchen with you at the time,just making himself a coffee (head cannon that this man has an obsession w coffee, trust)

And as you were cutting up some vegetables,your knife slipped a little, cutting through the tip of your finger. It took you by surprise as you let out a small gasp,followed by a grunt

The tip of Your finger starts bleeding quite seriously and it was way more painful than it looked like

Johan looked in your direction, just taking in the situation. He looked at your bleeding finger, sighing

"this is the third time you cut yourself this week while making food..you should pay more attention or let me do the cooking"

He said,his tone was a bit more serious than usual. And while He was approaching you, He took some paper from across the kitchen table

Johan holds out his hand,his eyes searching for yours. You give him your hand, lowering your head down as you were a bit embarrassed with the situation

He sighs as he holds your wrist with a firm but gentle grip

"you almost slit off the whole tip of your finger this time.."

He tries his best to bandage up your finger after cleaning it a bit so it won't get infected

Another time,Johan was sitting on the couch, going through some books as he was trying to find some certain information. Part of his books were laying across the floor

You walked past him a few times, going from the kitchen to your bedroom. He started eyeing you, curious on what the hell you were doing

The third time you walked past him,your clumsy self tripped over one of Johan's books

He was honestly expecting this at one point, a small sigh leaving his mouth

You fell down this time,your knees and palms hitting the floor

He didn't say anything at first,just looking down at you with a slight frown

"you walked past me like three times,don't tell me you seriously did not see the books on the floor"

He said to you with an almost amused but still calm tone. You quickly sat up as a small blush showed up on your cheeks

"i did! I was just in a hurry!"

You said, trying to find an excuse. truth is you seriously did not see the books

In the end he's quite entertained by you being silly and clumsy,it adds something more to his daily life and he's never bored around you. He could swear you are a manget to trouble and small accidents

I feel like Johan is not a big fan of relationships and sex in general butttt here is how I think he could be like if he was dating you

I would say he's not on the rougher side as he prefers slow and gentle sex,he doesn't like the idea of being mean or rough with his partner,he is a monster of course as he killed multiple people but still,he actually cares about you in his own way

He doesn't make a lot of sounds which can sometimes turn you off. He eventually only lets out smaller grunts if he's close

He's almost never in the mood for it so usually it's you who initiate things

But even if it's not something he's necessarily looking forward to,he sometimes gets into it because your insides just feel so warm and it's hard to hold back even for him

I wouldn't say he hates it though,he doesn't mind making love to you if that makes you happy

He doesn't want kids at all so he always pulls out before finishing,what a gentleman

if maybe he's pissed off or pent up because of something,he likes to go for more than one round as it makes him forget about shit. Still he's just as gentle but he can sometimes grab firmly onto a part of your body to hold you in a better position

The way Johan subtly enters halfway to escape and kindly describes how my possibility of freedom has failed miserable, all as long as he takes me back to stop if I was an innocent child who accidentally broke something because I didn't hear the warning of parents would make me feel completely powerless from my existence. His manipulative technique to make someone question his own intelligence, ability, and even his life purpose as he was an naive person who barely knows the world who lives empathically and smoothly would be sharper than mocking and insulting an attempt to self -defense and punishing it soon after. All this, while Johan has that damn smile and staunch and haunmently sweet.

It's so infuriating because he'd think of you escaping him as an almost recreational activity for your benefit? Like he'd be leaving small "clues" and hints at times on concocting the perfect escape plan. Not that he genuinely wants you to escape, but he treats you escaping him as seriously as one would treat a cute bonding activity like solving a jigsaw puzzle together <3. Which makes you feel all the more insulted and somehow it feels demeaning in a way— not that he meant for it, he really does think it's a lighthearted activity— but he'd see how disheartened you'd feel ,that it's as if he's insulting your intellect then, he'd stop leaving game hints after or advice on how to plan a better escape. He doesn't mean to make you feel discouraged, he's just trying to be supportive of your favourite"past-time activity" :( he thought you knew that there would be no true escape and that you trying to escape is just a small way of having fun.

(and also it's his way of knowing if you'll start trying out new methods he won't expect. like let's say one day you genuinely vanish and were able to stay on the low for a few days, he'd be slightly wary after that, and just calmly make it sound like it's a light discussion so that you can have a friendly banter and chat about how you escaped him this time. That way he can take note and mentally catalogue it.)

I defnitely think Anna has a predator/prey kink. Unlike johan who reiterates that you will not escape him, I bet anna likes to actually make you believe you have a REAL chance at escaping every once in a while. Only because she finds it funny how crestfallen you'll be once you realise that your "serious" escape attempt wasn't even close at all, and that you only got that far because she let you. Though I will say as much as she admires your tears and almost genuine fear, if you choose to escape from her one day and she sees you laughing? smiling and almost having fun? and that you only ran out because you expected her to chase after you? She might just fall in love all over again.

Yes, I am truly obsessed with Johan Liebert's fanfics and at the same time in love with the concept of depth and complexity of both the character and the entire anime. I I hope to be able to make great content about this person in the future, Mainly I finally write the entire universe I created of the characters themselves associated with the world of monster (which in this case, is known here on Tumblr as reader, which is why I associated myself as a character).

Well, now I really need to watch that anime to have that initiative. 😭
