Hii! May I request some Tenma x reader headcanons or a whole fic with a reader who is also a doctor? They could have met back when he was working in the hospital or during his journey, up for you to decide. Thank you very much!!

Tenma met you when he was working for Eva's dad,in his hospital. You were obviously just a doctor like he was and he took a liking to you specifically.
You were such an amazing doctor! He thought you were the best out of all the people working in that hospital but he refused to admit it out loud to not offend anyone. He started observing you, your habits and your work. He was impressed by every successful surgery that you had performed.
He really wanted to get close to you,to know you better. You have a lot of potential to become someone even more successful than you already were.
Eventually the two of you started talking. You took notice of how handsome Tenma looked, his eyes were such a pretty shade of brown.
Not long after meeting him,he asked you out on a date which surprised you a bit,he was pretty forward with things,not that you minded.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me? I know this amazing restaurant just nearby the hospital..I heard they have delicious dishes,my treat!
You both started getting along more and more and god..he was such a gentleman. Tenma just treats you so nicely and he even tries to convince Eva's dad to let him work alongside you and assist to your surgeries.(He did in fact convince him)
He gives you lots of useful tips and tries to teach you things that you may not be very experienced in. He looked so beautiful while he talked,you couldn't take your eyes off him,his back hair falling over his eyes. You always kinda just space out,his facial features distract you,he was way too good looking.
"..and while you have to take a bullet out you have to be very careful to not touch anything that may-..hey.. are you paying attention to me? Are you okay?"
After just a few months of talking and being friends(with benefits) he finally asked you(properly this time) to be his partner. You didn't want to rush things with him as it may ruin what you have,I mean a few months isn't a lot..you should wait more before making this decision. But..at the same time you knew you wanted him.
In the end you both end up together and man this guy suddenly became even more attractive to you. He always takes you out and he buys you flowers at least a few times a month,and he generally spoils you.
"ah hey love,how was your day? Any challenging patients today?"
"Oh these? Ah I almost forgot about them,they're flowers for you,dear. I spotted them on my way home and they reminded me of you"
Tenma now assists in every single one of your surgeries at the hospital, operating alongside you and eventually You both get promoted to a higher rank among the doctors which helps with your reputation.
Y'all cannot tell me that Johan Liebert wouldn't use names like "darling" or "dear" for his partner. Especially dear,it just sounds so pleasant to him.
At first he was hesitant about calling you any kind of name or pet name besides just your actual name. He was never in a relationship before so he was just uncertain and it felt strange.
It didn't take a lot for him to warm up to it though.
"I won't be home until later tonight,I'll have some things to solve first. Just wait for me,dear"
He's not a big fan of the other pet names like baby or babe,he thinks they're too cheesy,he doesn't like cheesy shit.
Maybeee he would sometimes use "sweetheart" if he feels nice,but heavy on SOMETIMES.
He'd use "sweetheart" mostly if he's feeling a bit cocky or cheeky. Like when you're bringing up information that's wrong.
"You're wrong on that fact,science actually says otherwise, sweetheart.
Johan doesn't like using pet names very often so when he does it makes your stomach tingle(in a good way ofc) because it shows you that he still somewhat cares about you in his own weird way.
"Not now, darling,I have some things I need to write down first"
Also he definitely dislikes the word bae idk. He'll give you the nastiest glance if you're gonna call him that. (And you sometimes do because it's funny to see him annoyed)

general Johan and reader headcanons? just in general how it would be like in a relationship? ty :)
Johan is a very calm and collected person,you enjoy his presence a lot because of that fact and he surprisingly also enjoys yours.
He doesn't necessarily want to have lots of people around him but after you guys met, he caught a liking to you,you were pretty interesting.
He often invites you over at his place to mostly either read alongside him or to eat together.
I wouldn't say he's the most talkative person..he probably just lets you do the talking while he just listens, eventually giving an opinion on what you had to say when you're done.
He definitely checks you out shamelessly whenever he gets the chance (especially when you're not looking).
Johan wasn't one to be after a person's looks,hell he wasn't even interested in a relationship at first but there was something about you that he had never seen in someone else.
You were something special, to him at least. Your personality was intriguing to him, he found you very interesting.
He starts glaring and glancing over at you more often after you start dating. He also kinda stalks you and takes a few notes on your habits, pretty much out of curiosity. He wants to learn about his new lover!
He keeps a small notebook hidden somewhere under his desk, keeping information about you in it (you don't know about his notebook)
I feel like he wouldn't be jealous at all?? Like you could go out in public with him and you'd have lots of guys just drooling over you and he'd just look at them with a tilt of his head,his expression remaining neutral,but not unkind.
He really doesn't care,the only time he'll get involved is if someone tries to harm you in some way,he wouldn't allow you to get hurt.
He pretty much trusts you,he knew you wouldn't be interested in other guys anyway.
Johan is not the biggest fan of physical touch but he just recently found out he enjoys holding your hand, especially when you go out in public with him.
He doesn't want to admit he enjoys holding hands directly so he'll try to find some excuses to do it.
"ah,be careful,there are too many cars driving at a fast speed...you should hold my hand just in case. It'll be safer"
You chuckle at his words,and then gently interlock your hand to his.
He obviously knew that you were aware of his excuses..I mean no one would fall for it but he didn't mind you knowing anyway. He just didn't want to admit it directly.
I'm telling y'all,this man does not know how to kiss,like at all.
He gets curious about it at one point and he's asking you if you could kiss.
"I gave this a lot of thought and I really wanted to kiss you,I want to know how it feels to be so..close to a person"
He said to you with the same neutral expression on his face,but having just a slight smile peaking at the corners of his mouth.
He is a messy kisser,very very messy. Saliva and spit included.
He doesn't mean to be messy! He's just a little weird,I mean poor boy never had a lover before can you blame him for being inexperienced? :(
Even though it's messy,his kisses are also intense. He puts effort into it, maybe too much effort.
Johan had your body trapped between him and a door,his hands gripping onto both of your forearms while his mouth was exploring yours.
He definitely uses tongue when kissing
I swear it's like this man was digging for gold inside your mouth or something..you didn't expect him to get so desperate! It's out of character for him.

Remember those scenes in the anime where he went out of his way to buy that clock for Mr junkers?(Or whatever was his name) And that ball for Dieter?? Yeah he definitely would do that for his partener
He buys you lots of unnecessary shit that you don't need at all. If you point out that you like a certain type of food,drink, or anything really,he's gonna sprint to the closest store to buy it for you before he comes home
I'd say he's also a bit touch starved,he loves receiving any type of physical touch,variating from holding hands to kisses and cuddles and maybe even holding onto your thigh while he drives
Tenma likes your thighs a lot,I'd say he might have a preference for thicker women but don't get me wrong,he wouldn't love you less if you're be skinny
Honestly he kinda likes cheesy and corny stuff,for example maybe he'd let you dress him up in those matching couples shirts.
Absolutely adores taking you out on dates,he loves seeing his beautiful lover getting dressed up in something more fancy and he himself loves to dress elegantly(just for you)

random Tenma headcanons
he did not just walk off a car crash like that idc idc he now has chronic pain bc of it
he did not learn his lesson when he fainted back in volume 1 for not sleeping and eating properly, and it def happened again at least once or twice during the timeskips we get between chapters/arcs. The problem is sort of resolved when he's traveling with Dieter because he needs to make sure the both of them are okay but reverts when he's not with Dieter.
never regains the weight he lost while hunting for Johan. His eating and sleeping habits def get better and he does gain most of it back but not all of it.
kept a sweater of Grimmer's after his death
while them getting back together is out of the question, Tenma and Eva have managed to build some sort of friendship post-canon. Despite their differences, there's some comfort found in them knowing each other for so long, and due to their lifestyles (Tenma always traveling, Eva's... complicated personality) they have very few serious connections with people. So it's nice to count each other as one, even if it's flawed.
Whenever he comes back to Germany to visit Dieter, Nina, Eva, etc. he runs into his old patients sometimes and catches up with them to see how they're doing
Despite being proven innocent, his face was plastered on news papers for years as the main suspect of all those murders. Which leads to uncomfortable, awkward circumstances whenever someone (a passerby, a cashier, a bartender, etc.) recognizes him.
Sends Nina and Dieter letters while working that sometimes include photos taken with his patients, mostly child patients.
Brings the two of them souvenirs whenever he thinks of them or finds something he think they'd like
The only problems he has with long/longer hair is the memories attached to it. While he prefers short hair, having it grow out only poses some mildly tedious problems. But whenever it does grow out he's reminded of how much death and misery surrounded him while on the run, and can't bear to let it grow longer. It also makes him feel unkept even if he were to take good care of it.

This was a really cute prompt! It was tough to decide how to draw them because I wanted to try to capture a moment in time, but it's really sweet to think how they would interact in these mundane yet intimate moments ( ˊᵕˋ )♡
