This has been top of my mind for quite a bit but you need to tailor every metric. Individualize the data, elevate the game. What worked for her will very likely not work for you, nobody can offer you their blueprint to success because their story is not yours. You can take inspiration from the effective methods the girls have worked with before but tailor it to fit your own circumstances. Assess your cultural background, you can use geographical mobility and strategic relocation, and start building and leveraging connections, or develop and foster new hobbies and interests you genuinely enjoy, you can apply mindset shifts and strategies if needed, learn the languages that open doors for you, and start deciding how and where you invest your money to upgrade your lifestyle while making strides with your career/education to paint a general picture. But seeking insights into someone's specific choices and experiences can come across as misguided and replicating someone else's path won't give you their results because your personal narrative is one that only you can author. The only way forward is through action customized to you. There’s no shortcut, but the fastest way forward is understanding who you are and your current situation, while calculating every move based on your strengths, opportunities, resources, and realistic goals.
hold on a second man…
It doesn’t matter what’s happened this week, who screwed you over, how low you're feeling.. you get yourself together, you focus on your elevation. This is your fucking comeback. You create a new vision board, you write new affirmations, you record yourself speaking life into yourself, reminding you of how fucking-badass you truly are and you loop it and listen every-single-day. You write your forgiviness list and do a mediation to clear all the old baggage, in so creating space for new energy to flow into your life. You pray, and pray some more. You remember to be grateful, always. You put your trainers on and you fucking work-out. You get your groceries from the grocery store and you make healthy clean food. You nourish your body. You remember to take your supplements. You dance, you paint, you cry, you sing. This is your month, your new start, your new beginning.
Study tips that i learned through failures!
1. It's so important that you do a first read thru of the text as fast as possible. Stick to annotations and brief summarizing notes/outlines. Our brain is constantly making connections even when we're sleeping, so even if you don't understand something at first, getting stuck on it is a waste of your present time AND sleep time. Some things will click while you're doing chores because your brain is still working in the background! But it can't happen if there is nothing to click. Try to expose yourself to all the material as early as possible. [If you're studying math, skip the derivations and proofs in the first read thru and just do the example problems and focus on the underlying assumptions. Depending on the class/exam objective, you might not even be tested on the proof]
2. The breaks. Even if you know you can study 4 hours straight - don't. I used to do this especially when I was anxious, but it just burned me out. Even as quickly as the next day! If you're doing your first pom of the day and you feel really fresh to the point that you feel like you can skip that first break - dont.. it will pile up!
3. The water and the sugar!! This might sound really obvious, but studying burns up so many resources. On days I don't study, I might be okay with 60-70 oz of water, but on days I do, it's normal for me to hit 100 oz. I also ate way more food in general and ate more sugar too, and I think that's pretty normal.
4. Flashcards and practice problems > annotations > having nice notes. It kills me to say it, but the last exam I took (and passed!), I relied on my very disorganized notes/screenshots on my tablet. I didn't have time to organize and transfer them nicely onto paper in order even though every perfectionist cell in my body wanted to soo badly. Making your own textbook can be helpful but I seriously just didn't have the time. Focus on what will actually get you that pass score!
5. Find the note-taking app you like BEFORE your study period or exam season and practice using it! The last thing you want is to fight the syncing mechanism as you're trying to study. I like to use Flexil because of the split screen feature, the linked screenshots, and the cross-platform sync. If you are studying math, either learn latex over the summer/off period so you can use it in Obsidian/Anki or commit to manually written flashcards and notes the whole way. Dont try to switch halfway through because that will be a waste of your time. I personally think writing out the math is faster than typing it out in Latex, but it's your poison (they're both poison). (And if you study any type of math, I 10000% recommend using a tablet)
6. Unless you are studying for fun, orient everything around the class/exam objectives. Unfortunately, you're not gonna have time to be curious. If you don't think something will be tested, quickly cut it out and move on.
7. Figure out what your exam taking weaknesses are. Out of every 10 missed problems, I realized I'd miss a question solely because i input the wrong number into the calculator. Now I say the numbers in my head as I put it in, do it at a relatively slow pace, and break up large formulas into itsy pieces and make sure the output is close to what I expect it to be. I write out all the steps on paper sometimes to make sure every calculation is as expected. You only get once chance during the real thing, so it's important to come up with a policy to reduce risk and to stick to it every time.
You know what I love? Discipline. Do you know what I admire? People who handle their lives properly. Because I know that takes a lot. Did you get that high paying job and didn't buy an expensive car with your first paycheck? That shit is hard. Do you want to have s** but abstain yourself and don't just sleep with anyone? That shit is hard. Did you stay in shape during the holidays? That shit is hard. I love people being disciplined, handling their finances wisely, controlling themselves and discerning what is actually good for them. You can get offended or you can get better. Your choice. 🖤
tips for last minute revision for physics, chemistry (phy, inorg, org) and maths? cause i got no clue
hi ml, i wish i had good enough tips to help you, but i'm struggling myself, but i'll try to help.
so, let's talk per subject, for chem, i'd suggest to revise any short notes you have and be thorough with the textbook!! just have a formula sheet ready for physical chem to skim through, for inorganic mug the textbook up, i'm sorry there's no way out, literally and the very same goes for organic, we're all scared but from personal experience, it's that damn book questions are asked from as cliché as it sounds, it is very important!!
for phy, again, short notes, that's all, skim through important theory and formulas, it's important to mug up all the formulas and i'm not even kidding, there are direct formula based problems asked, so fetch as many marks as you can.
for math, it's the subject where nothing much could be done in a short span of time, but if you're confident in some chapters, try and review how to solve the most repeated type of questions asked, identify patterns and practice as much, though personally i'd suggest to focus much more on physics and chemistry.
i hope it helped, good luck 🤍

you have got to learn how to style your hair and wigs.
I’ve been styling and making wigs, doing hair, and enjoying playing cosmetologist since I was young and I’ve found that it’s saved me so much money and gotten me so much clout within my friend groups. I’m known as the one who can do hair and I take a lot of pride in it, it’s important to know how to do something and know how to do it well and it’s important to take a lot of pride in your work. I have specialised hair, I’m not always able to find a stylist who I trust and I don’t mess around when it comes to my hair and making sure that it looks good, it can be incredibly annoying to have a mishap and have to figure out what to do last minute and it can be a nightmare to take care of wigs and buy them, below are videos on how to make your own wigs, style your wigs, dye your wigs, install your wigs, and care for your wigs so that you have hairstyles that last.

I’ve also thought of this a lot and I can finally say that I truly believe that while the quality of the hair and the products you use are definitely extremely important, so is the technique you use. You could spend a full $1k on a wig but it wouldn’t look good unless you knew how to pluck and install it, there are plenty of really hot affordable synthetic wigs and synthetic/human hair blend wigs currently on the market, there are ways to install wigs that are simple but still end up making you look like you’re on fire, and there are wigs that are on the more expensive end that just won’t look good if you don’t know how to install them. Knowing how to do your own hair is truly an S-Tier skill, some salons and stylists are so expensive these days that it’s just not feasible to go in every week to have your hair done and it’s great to be able to do your hair whenever you want to and make it look good, you’ll end up saving so much money and exchanging only time, you can learn how to do your own styles, and you can even take all the skills you’ve learned and make a profit from them.
